DANIEL 2:11

It is a difficult thing that the king requests, and there is no other who can tell it to the king except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.” [Daniel 2:11 NKJV]

What Your Majesty is asking is impossible! No one can tell Your Majesty what you dreamed, except the gods, and they do not live among us mortals. [FBV]

To some extent, you have to agree with the what these wise men are saying here.

According to this speech in the Bible verse above, spoken by the Chaldeans who were prophets or ministers of the Babylonian Dark Arts in the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, "Only the gods can reveal such secrets or knowledge hidden in the king's dream or mind as mysteries to other men; and those gods are not dwelling among men."

However, by way of implication, that which they said also means that any one who can do those impossible things they reserved exclusive to the gods, that person must either be "a god" or "having a dwelling of the gods in/with him." Whichever be the case, there's an "Immanuel" with such person.

Daniel too agreed with this when he made almost similar remark to the same king, saying:

[Daniel 2:27‭-‬28 BSB] — Daniel answered the king, “No wise man, enchanter, medium, or magician can explain to the king the mystery of which he inquires. But there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in the latter days. Your dream and the visions that came into your mind as you lay on your bed were these:

Daniel was a man or mortal, and the God who dwelt in heaven revealed deep secrets to Daniel who dwelt among men of flesh on earth. Therefore, Daniel manifested "Immanuel" which means "God with us" or "God in heaven dwelling among men." This was because the Revelation of Knowledge, which only the gods can reveal, was revealed by Daniel — this made a woman described Daniel as a man in whom the spirit of the holy gods dwell. That negated what the Chaldeans earlier said about such gods not dwelling among men. As it is written,

[Daniel 5:11‭-‬12 BSB] — There is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. In the days of your father he was found to have insight, intelligence, and wisdom like that of the gods. Your father, King Nebuchadnezzar, appointed him chief of the magicians, enchanters, astrologers, and diviners. Your own father, the king, did this because Daniel, the one he named Belteshazzar, was found to have an extraordinary spirit, as well as knowledge, understanding, and the ability to interpret dreams, explain riddles, and solve difficult problems. Summon Daniel, therefore, and he will give you the interpretation.”

I pray I remember to differentiate between the Spirit of the Holy God (Holy Spirit) and the spirit of the evil one (evil spirits), dwelling or possessing a man when I get under that Bible reference. But for now, I present to you that there have been men and women who manifest "Immanuel" or "God in and with men." Some of them did manifest "Immanuel" in their lives to people by "Revelation of Knowledge" they manifested. Others did manifest "Immanuel" in their lives to people by "Performances or Miracles."

Before Daniel, Joseph in Egypt had already manifested "Immanuel" by "Revelation of Knowledge" which made then Pharaoh to testify the Spirit of God was in Joseph, who revealed that which none of the Egyptian Magicians, Astrologers, Enchanters, Dark Artists, could not reveal.

[Genesis 41:38‭-‬39 BSB] — So Pharaoh asked them, “Can we find anyone like this man, in whom the Spirit of God abides?” Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.

Moses and Aaron manifested Immanuel by Performances or Miracles, in doing what the magicians, astrologers, enchanters, sorcerers, diviners, of Egypt could not do; and those Dark Artists testified of the Finger of God.

[Exodus 8:18‭-‬19 NKJV] — Now the magicians so worked with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not. So there were lice on man and beast. Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, just as the Lord had said.

Paul and Barnabas manifested Immanuel by Performances or Miracles, in doing what the magicians, astrologers, enchanters, sorcerers, diviners, could not do, among the people of Lystra (Acts 14:9-14).

There are many among us that are manifesting "Immanuel" both by Revelations of Knowledge and by Performances of Miracles. May we all walk in this and much more today.
