DANIEL 2:13

And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain. [Daniel 2:13]

So King Nebuchadnezzar’s order was announced. All the wise men were to be put to death. Men were sent to look for Daniel and his friends to kill them. [Daniel 2:13 ICB]

The same rule that was supposed to apply to few wise men, applied to all wise men: Daniel and his company of wise friends were not among the wise Chaldeans, but yet the king's decree that affected these group of wise men would also affect this other group of wise men. For this reason, wise men learn and increase learning from other wise men: for wise men affect wise men.

But that's not the main point here: This is the main point: "In the Bible verse above, as soon as the decree of executive order to kill all wise men went forth, Daniel and his company of wise friends/brethren in the church were among the first to be sought for to kill. Not clear if any wise man was killed already, but almost immediately they sought after Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, to kind of begin with them, even though they were not among the company of wise Chaldeans who provoked Nebuchadnezzar with their answer. Well, Daniel stayed or prevented the execution of any wise man, and that was somehow expected that he stand up as "Messiah" in that case.

Remember how the heathens in the ship had to go wake Jonah from sleep to call upon his God, when their lives were at the verge of destruction. All wise men of Babylon were having death sentence over them, but executioner sought Daniel's company of church wise brethren to either begin or stop with them.

Judgment will begin in the House of God (Among God's Chosen Ministers) because Salvation, Deliverance and Healing will begin in the House of God. Do not just see Judgment beginning in us, also see Salvation, Deliverance and Healing, of the world beginning in us. The world is looking up to the wise men of the Church, when or where the wise men of the world have failed.

Like a flash, it impressed my mind that those who were looking for Daniel and his company of wise friends to kill automatically did not qualify as wise men themselves. If the decree was that all wise men should be killed, then all those men carrying out the decree were not wise men themselves, but those they sought to kill under that decree were therefore wise men. Fools to kill Wise.

In the scriptures, various kings and world superpowers had either made or endorsed (signed) different "Decrees" or "Executive Orders" intended to annihilate certain ethnic or class of people.

*A* God began this when He decided the end of flesh has come before Him: When God decreed the Flood Destruction of Noah. That was a Decree or Executive Order against all flesh with the breath of life on the surface of the earth. But Noah and his household escaped with the living creatures in the ark with him.

*B* The Pharaoh of Egypt that made Decree or Executive Order to annihilate all new male child born to the Hebrews in Egypt by casting them into a lake of crocodiles, called River Nile: But the new born Moses escaped with in the ark floating on the River Nile until he was drawn out of the river or water, and therefore named "Moses."

*C* The Lord's Decree or Executive Order for the Children of Israel to annihilate all the Canaanites or inhabitants of the Promised-land and not spare anyone of them alive. But the Children of Israel did not fully obey this order or decree from God, but spared some of those inhabitants or Canaanites.

*D* The Lord's Decree or Executive Order for the Saul, king of Israel, to annihilate all the Amalakites, and not spare anyone of them alive. But Saul, the king of Israel, did not fully obey this order or decree from God, but spared some of those Amalakites.

*E* The Lord's endorsing a Decree or Executive Order for the Satan to wipe out and destroy all Job had because Job feared God and kept integrity, but to spare just Job alive. But Job survived and escaped with his integrity.

*F* David's endorsing a Decree or Executive Order for all descendants or children of Saul, the king before him, to be annihilated as atonement for the evil of Saul their father against humanity. But Mephibosheth, descendant of Jonathan son of Saul, escaped though crippled in the process.

*G* Saul's decree or executive order to annihilate all the Priests of God because they helped David escape from Saul's death. Many Priests escaped, including a descendant of Eli the high priest upon whom the Lord decreed his descendants shall be annihilated in days to come, for the sins of Hophni and Phinehas.

*H* The first Lady, Jezebel's decree or executive order to annihilate all the Prophets of God. But Elijah escaped, not knowing there are about 7,000 men who also escaped including those 100 Prophets of God that Obadiah hid and fed secretly against of Jezebel's decree.

*I* The queen mother, Athaliah's decree or executive order to annihilate all the Royal Seeds or Descendants of David. But Joash escaped and later became king at age of 7 years

*J* The Annihilation of Sodom and Gomorrah were fatal and total.

*K* The King of Shushan endorsed Haman's executive order or decree to annihilate all the Jews in the empire: But God used Esther and Mordecai to save the Jewish Race.

*L* The King of Media endorsed an executive order or decree to annihilate all those Praying to God, and have them thrown into Lions' den: But Daniel escaped with his faithfulness at praying to God daily.

*M* The Herod's decree or executive order to kill all male child from two years and below at David's Bethlehem: But the Lord Jesus Christ escaped.

*N* The Nebuchadnezzar's decree or executive order to kill all the wise men in his city, including Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, the men of God. But Daniel saved all the wise men by faith in God, not just by wisdom that already failed all wise men then. Remember, Joseph in Egypt also saved nations of the world from the decreed famine by God's faith.
