DANIEL 2:15

he answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, “Why is the decree from the king so urgent?” Then Arioch made the decision known to Daniel. [Daniel 2:15 NKJV]

He said to Arioch, the king's captain, Why is the decree so urgent and hasty from the king? Then Arioch explained the matter to Daniel. [Daniel 2:15 AMPC]

TREASURES OF WISE QUESTIONS

You may liken what Daniel achieved here by wisdom to that which the Serpent achieved in "Genesis 3:1-3." Recall in the preceding verse it was said Daniel answered with Wisdom and Counsel, and the Serpent was described as more subtle, cunning, crafty, than every Beast of the field  the Lord God made. The acknowledging of the Serpent's wisdom and that of Daniel's Wisdom here preceded their "Questions" which got them insightful information because the persons they asked began to tell them the secret matters.

*1* - In the case of the Serpent, Its wisdom asked a question that got Eve (the Woman) talking and revealing.

*2* - In the case of Daniel here, His wisdom asked a question that got Arioch (the captain of the king's guards) talking and revealing.

It was still a contest of wisdom, not between the Serpent and every beast of the field this time, but between Daniel and the Chaldeans' wisdom men. And as the Serpent's wisdom, not only got information from the woman by a single question but, deceived the Woman using her own information to manipulate her: even so, Daniel was doing to Arioch here, and later to his master the king to defer the decree.

Thus, with just one answer of Daniel with wisdom and counsel, which came as a question that was siphoning secret or hidden information from one who's supposedly the most security chief of Guards in information management, Arioch the captain of the king's guards ended up revealing information to the man he was sent to kill, as the woman revealed information to the Serpent she was supposed to resist or smash.

Daniel's "Answer of Wisdom" was not just questioning the "Importance" but the "Importunity" of the king's decree to kill all the wise men in his purview. Many have not come to know the places and differences between both. Crafty or wise men know how to craft questions that can get information or secrets from persons, even without using the word of knowledge or discerning.

Questions and Answers were the first proofs of the wise ones, not suggestions, not ideas and not products. When we were told about the wisdom of the Serpent, it was not the Serpent's suggestion, idea or product that first justified the wisdom or craftiness in the Serpent, but the Serpent's Question and Answer. Again, Daniel's Wisdom and Counsel have hitherto been proven by his answers and questions, and he has not made any suggestion, idea or product yet to warrant his getting hyped for great Wisdom as at the point of this Bible verse above.

Under the preceding Bible verse to this above, I wrote to show:

"TREASURES OF WISE ANSWERS"

But under this Bible verse above, I have written to show:

"TREASURES OF WISE QUESTIONS"

Spiritually, "Questions" are ranked among "EnquiriesSeeking or Quests." Money cannot buy knowledge or information in the spiritual realms, but wise/right Questions (Seeking) would earn for one, great knowledge, information, deep secrets and wisdom in mysteries. So wise questions are more valuable than silver and gold (money) in the spiritual realms. These are treasures of Wise Questions, better than weapons of war. Wise Questions converts.

How would you know that is a wise question? Is it by who is asking or by how the question is framed or by its contents? Not really any of those, but by how much results, information, secrets, counseling, opportunities, conversions etc that Question returned.
