EZEKIEL 1:15
"Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel on the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces." [Ezekiel 1:15]
Now as I looked at the living creatures, behold, a wheel was on the earth beside each living creature with its four faces. [Ezekiel 1:15 NKJV]
While the Seer kept looking at the Living Creatures, suddenly he saw a wheel on the ground by each of the Living Creatures with each of their four faces. Actually each of the Living Creatures has its own Wheel. In subsequent verses, more descriptions were given about the four Wheels.
Meanwhile under this Bible verse above, there is an introduction of the Wheels by the Rabim on the earth.
You may have seen a chariot or seen a horse with a cart tied to the horse. The cart having wheels, but its movement is controlled or determined by the movement of the horse. The horse do not climb the wheel/cart for the cart to carry the horse, neither do you put the cart before the horse for the cart to pull the horse. So, the Cart (Wheel) neither carries the weight of the horse as vehicle, nor pulls the weight of the horse in motion. Rather, the horse pulls the Cart (Wheels), while Cart carries someone else or other Loads other than the horse on the wheels.
*** These Living Creatures (Rabim) are as the Horse in this sense;
*** These Wheels are as the Cart in this sense, and;
*** The Throne of God or Seat of God is as the Load in this sense.
The Wheels are not meant to carry the Living Creatures, but to carry the Seat of God like a "Wheel-Chair," especially when God riding with His Seat or Throne from one place to another in the heavens or on earth. As it is written,
[Daniel 7:9] — "As I continued to watch, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took His Seat. His Clothing was white as snow, and the Hair of His Head like pure wool. His Throne was flaming with fire, and Its Wheels were all ablaze."
The Wheels of these Living Creatures are the Foot-Wheels to the Throne or Seat of God.
