The hands of a man were under their wings on their four sides; and each of the four had faces and wings. [Ezekiel 1:8 NKJV]
 

The living creatures had men’s hands. They were under their wings on their four sides. All four of them had faces and wings. [Ezekiel 1:8 ICB]

The Rabim had a man's hands under their wings on their four sides: And each of them had four wings, four faces, and four sides. Though these Four Living Creatures had feet as a calf's feet, their hands were like a man's hands. Basically, human's hands differ from other animals' hands because Human's are hands designed and adaptable basically for handling and creating things, and not meant for threading the ground in walking as the feet do or as other baser creatures do.
 

Behold, their wings were not under their man's hands; rather their man's hands were under their wings. Their hands are subject to their wings, and they had to lift up their wings before they could wave their hands or even do certain things with those hands.
 

Yes, Wings rank higher than Hands of a man among the Living Creatures in the Heavens. And they subdue more with their Wings than with their hands. And, even the Wind would come under their Wings to exalt them in flight above. Nevertheless, they could still make their hands and their wings to move as one or join together.
 

Remember, their man's hands are in each of their four sides, but under each of their four wings, located below each of their four faces. All these features, yet they were in the likeness of a man.
