EZEKIEL 2:10

Then He spread it before me; and there was writing on the inside and on the outside, and written on it were lamentations and mourning and woe. [NKJV]

which He unrolled before me. And written on the front and back of it were words of lamentation, mourning, and woe. [BSB]

The Lord opened the scroll in front of me. The scroll was written on the front and back. Funeral songs, sad writings and troubles were written on the scroll. [ICB]

The hand unrolled the scroll, and I saw that there was writing on both sides—cries of grief were written there, and wails and groans. [GNT]

UNVEILING IT AS IS WRITTEN,

"LAMENTATIONS, MOURNING AND WOE"

Many have said, "See the Hand Writing on the Wall" but I tell you that it's better to "See the Hand Writings in the Hand?"

Do you know that there are pastors, prophets, and people, who though they see what is written, they only see the "Prosperity Written, Blessings Written, Longlife Written, Death/Shame to their Enemies Written, Healings Written, Financial Solutions Written, Marriage Blessings Written, etc." But they do not see "Death, Hell, Judgment, Lamentations, Woes, Punishments or Plagues, Curses etc, Written" when they read the Hand Writings on the wall or in the Hand. There was a Bishop of a Church I had never heard or seen read from his pulpit to his congregation, any Bible reference containing warning of death, hell, punishment for sin, lamentation or Judgment, for all the years I had been hearing that Bishop preach, except one day when he mistakenly quoted a reference in Isaiah that talked about death and hell fire, but he was actually trying to quote one of the blessings and sweet things in Bible. I laughed within me because I knew he would never have made reference to the verse.

So we have Christians who never knew God could write Judgment (Psalms 149:9), Lamentations, Funeral Songs, Woes, Destruction, etc in His Letters to People. Some don't even believe God would kill any man or woman, let alone cast anyone to burn for eternity.

From the top Bible verse above, here are three Notifications:

*1* The same Hand that brought the Scroll also opened the package or content of the Scroll before the Recipient.

It's like a messenger that brought mail or letter to you, opening the letter from its envelope or seal in your presence before giving you the opened letter. The Hand who brought the Package or Gift to give the Recipient, suddenly unveiled or unwrapped the content in the presence of the recipient before giving it to him.

It may not make sense if I generalize for any kind of package, but if I leave it at "Scroll, Bible or Script" as it is then it's better.

Imagine one man bought/brought a Bible (Scroll) to you, but did not open the Bible for you to read or perceive the contents there in. But another man who did not bring or bought the Bible (Scroll) to you, helped in opening (unveiling) the Bible so that at his hand you began perceiving the nature and extent of the contents in that Bible (Scroll). I don't want to ask which of the two men did better at delivering the message, because there's difference between delivering 'the Package' and delivering 'the Message.' But you can see that the work of the latter man in opening or unveiling the Bible (Scroll or Script or Scriptures) so that at his hand you began perceiving, understanding or knowing things therein, is needed in delivering the message in the package.

Behold, this Hand in the top Bible verse above was doing both works: Delivering both the Package and the Message — Unveiling the Script after making it available and presented, not just the Book but also, the knowledge of the contents in the Book. In the book of Revelation 5, we were not interested in who will bring the Book to us; rather we were interested in who will open or unseal the Book for us to see and experience the nature and extent of the contents or messages therein.

[Isaiah 29:11‭-‬12 FBV] — This entire vision is like words in a scroll that is sealed shut. If you give it to someone who knows how to read and say, “Please read it,” they'll say, “I can't read it because it's sealed shut.” If you give it to someone who doesn't know how to read and say, “Please read it,” they'll say, “I don't know how to read.”

*2* Ezekiel saw both sides of the Scroll had writings on them

The Way that Hand opened, unveiled or unrolled the Scroll (Scriptures) to Ezekiel enabled him to see "The Extent of Things contained therein." He was not just showing Ezekiel one side of the scriptures, but showing him the whole sides to the scriptures. The Hand was showing him both the front and back, both the top and bottom; He was not selective on which side to show him, and the side to hide from him. People say, "Don't judge the contents of a book by its cover." But this Hand would not need you to judge one side/part of the Book by another; for this Hand would have unveil and reveal all sides or parts of the Pages of the Book to you.

Well there seems to be a habit of rather writing on the front and back of a smaller Page (smaller scroll) than chosing a larger page (larger Scroll) where all the written contents may fit in one page:

[Revelation 5:1 BLB] — "And I saw on the right hand of the One sitting upon the throne a scroll, having been written inside and on the back, having been sealed with seven seals."

*3* Cries of Grief, Wailing and Groans, were contents in the Scroll.

The Way that Hand opened, unveiled or unrolled the Scroll (Scriptures) to Ezekiel enabled him to see "The Nature of Things contained therein."

Do you remember this message, "There is Weeping in Heaven?" Lamentations, Sorrowful Songs, Cries of Weeping, Mourning and Woe, were the nature of the Scriptures written in that Scroll. They're not just records but also prophecies of them.
