EZEKIEL 3:5

For you are not sent to a people of unfamiliar speech and of hard language, but to the house of Israel, [NKJV]

I am not sending you to a nation that speaks a difficult foreign language, but to the Israelites. [GNT]

**SENT ONLY TO THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL**

The Voice of Ezekiel was not sent to us the non-Hebrew or non-Israelite in flesh, but the Book of Ezekiel was sent to them as part of the scriptures. One of the foreign languages or unfamiliar speeches and nations Ezekiel was not sent to speak to, was that of your own language, speech tongue and nation, if you are not an Israelite biologically. His verbal messages were sent to the house of Israel, but his scriptures were sent to all men in the world and generations far beyond him.

Even so, the Lord Jesus Christ was not sent to preach or minister to the Gentiles, but only to the house of Israel. As it is written,

[Matthew 15:24-26] — "Jesus responded, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the nation of Israel." She came to him, bowed down, and said, "Lord, help me!" Jesus replied, "It's not right to take the children's food and throw it to the dogs.""

[Matthew 10:5-8] — "Jesus sent these twelve out with the following instructions: "Don't go among people who are not Jewish or into any Samaritan city. Instead, go to the lost sheep of the nation of Israel. As you go, spread this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.' Cure the sick, bring the dead back to life, cleanse those with skin diseases, and force demons out of people. Give these things without charging, since you received them without paying."

However, His Cross, Death, Resurrection, Salvation, Calling, Gifts, Grace of God, and Holy Spirit of Promise, were for all men in the world for whoever believes and comes to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember Ezekiel and the Lord Jesus Christ both shared this same title in the scriptures, "Son of man." Both of them were sent to preach basically to the house of Israel, and not to people of another language or foreigners. This implied two things to their ministries:

*1* They must not use interpreters while speaking or preaching to the house of Israel, seeing it's to their own speech or language people they were sent.

Have you ever listened to messages wherein the preacher will make one sentence and pause for the interpreter to translate for the people of different language, and then the preacher will make the next sentence, the interpreter will translate, and these continue until the message is over? Such is a case wherein the preacher or messenger was sent or got to be preaching to people of foreign language different from his own most fluent language, and he was not endowed with the gift of speaking in tongues of that foreign language by the power of the Spirit of God. Men of God like Joseph, Moses, Jeremiah, Daniel, Jonah, Paul, Philips, and John the Beloved, etc, were basically sent by God as Messengers to foreigners and foreign language nations; and those men of God learnt those foreign languages or used interpreters at some points to communicate.

Both Ezekiel and the Lord Jesus did not have to use foreign language in their earthly preachings, neither spoke by interpreters even when they spoke in parables,  except when He spoke in other tongues in communicating with Spirit-Beings or Prayers such as when the Lord Jesus was performing miracles of opening the deaf ears (Ephphatha), raising the dead girl of 12 years (Talitha Cumi), and (Eli, Eli, Lama Sabachthani).

*2* If foreigners or other nations outside Israel would hear the messages or receive the packages of Ezekiel or the Lord Jesus Christ, who was sent only to the house of Israel, those foreigners must be the ones coming to Ezekiel or to the Lord Jesus Christ, and not Ezekiel or the Lord Jesus going to those foreigners.

Wise men from the East and foreigners came to the Lord Jesus Christ, not Jesus Christ traveling to preach to foreigners or to hold crusade in other countries, apart from Galilee and Egypt where He fled as refugee but did not preach or began ministry there (though other Book of His infancy recorded the Lord Jesus Christ performed miracles in Egypt as a Child).

If the Lord Jesus Christ was a Pastor today among us, having such restriction about being sent only to the house of Israel, He would have been fully based in Israel and not seen traveling abroad in private Jets or getting invited to preach in other nations of the world. Or even when He travels abroad into foreign countries, like when He travelled with His Disciples out of Israel into Syria to rest from people's burdens in Israel, before that Canaanite woman saw and recognized Him in Syria where He came for vacation or for break from ministry, and she began pestering Him to heal her demon possessed daughter; there in Syria, the Lord Jesus Christ who came to rest in the foreign country but not to preach to foreigners, told the woman, He was only sent to the house of Israel, (not to everyone or foreigners); and it will not be good for Him to take the children's bread (Ministry meant for Israel) and cast the bread to the dogs (Ministering to the Foreigners, instead of Israel only). But the woman put up a strong argument about the crumbs that fell from the table, and the Lord Jesus Christ granted her that portion of virtue/anointing that cured or healed her demon possessed daughter, when she was not a daughter of Abraham or an Israelite.

I have come across a Muslim, follower of Muhammad, arguing with me that Jesus was only sent to the Jewish +Israel people but Muhammad was sent to the world. So he supposed that validated Muhammad above the Lord Jesus Christ. That's foolish of that Muslim.

Now it does not work that way. Being sent to Israel alone ranks higher than being sent to the whole world. Abraham was father of many nations (let's say father of the world), but Jacob was father of Israel only: that position of Jacob ranked higher than that of Abraham, because God chose Israel even when that meant giving up on the rest of the whole world for Satan to have. Let's assume the whole nations of the world were like 300 beautiful women, but only one extra besides them was a Virgin, called, Israel. That one Virgin, Israel, worth more to God as wife than the entire 300 beautiful women combined. The Lord Jesus Christ would rather be called "King of the Jews (Israel only)" than be called Emperor of the Gentiles or Nations of the world. He defended His tribal People, saying to the Samaritan woman, "We know Whom We worship because Salvation is of the Jews."

Peter, James and John, with other great apostles were apostles positioned by God to handle Israel, but just one Apostle, Paul, was sent to the Gentiles or rest of the Nations of the World. Though Paul claim to magnify that office of being Apostle to the Gentiles (Romans 11:13), yet Paul wished he was rather accursed for Israelites to be saved (Romans 9:1-7) but the same Paul never wished he was accursed for the whole nations or Gentiles to be saved even though he was the Apostle sent to the Gentiles. Why was Paul's heart still going for the Israelites or Jews instead of him concentrating on the Gentiles over whom God made him overseer? Was Paul not contented with his office over the non-jewish people? Was he trying to join Peter, John and James (brother of Jesus) and the other Apostles to oversee Israelites? Where it became too much for Paul seeking to be relevant to the Israelites instead of concentrating on the Gentiles where God sent him, was when we saw Paul heading to Jerusalem and leaving the Sheep of the Gentiles in the hands of other pastors or overseers, but he himself would not listen to warnings by God's prophet and the Spirit of God, warning Paul not to go to Jerusalem but remain in his field or office. Yet Paul insisted he was ready to die at Jerusalem, trying to be relevant among Israel. But God was wise, who made them to bring Paul back from Jerusalem to Rome when he was arrested, instead of Paul dying at Jerusalem as he intended. That was how Paul was made to return back to his office base and field outside the shores of Israel, and being under detention Paul never went back to Jerusalem or Israel again, but was made to concentrate more on the non-jewish people, writing Epistles from prison. Remember how Jonah was trying to flee to Tarshish away from his place of primary assignment where God sent him, but God made the fish that swallowed him to bring Jonah to the shores of Assyria or Nineveh where God sent him to minister. Again remember there was an old prophet in Samaria, yet God sent a man of God from Judah to come minister at Samaria instead of the old prophet who refused to be where God assigned him to be.

Well, there's something about Israel that ranks more than the entire world combined before God. Nevertheless, the Church is now the spiritual Israel, filling up the numbers for true Israelites.
