FORBIDDEN TREE NOT JUST FORBIDDEN FRUIT

GENESIS 3:3

[NKJV]

but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ” [NKJV]

[GNT]

“except the tree in the middle of it. God told us not to eat the fruit of that tree or even touch it; if we do, we will die.”

Here the woman made reference to what God commanded, as in quoting what God said in His Word to mankind when the Word first forbade sin. But though the woman was the first to quote the word of God to the devil, she was also the first to go against the word she had quoted or preached to the devil; and even here she was not quoting the Word of God correctly. She had already begun to omit or miss out important detail while she quoted what God said, and the detail she omitted was what the devil used in manipulating her into the deception.

This was the detail she missed out or omitted in what God said concerning eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil:

God said, "You shall not eat of it…" but the woman said God said, "You shall not eat of its fruit…" Meaning she introduced the word, "Fruit" as substitute for "it." No one had mentioned the Word, "Fruit" since God planted that Garden in Eden, until the woman mentioned it regarding the forbidden tree.

So, it was not just the "Forbidden Fruit" but the "Forbidden Tree." God forbade man from eating of the tree, not just forbade man from eating of the fruit of the tree, of knowledge of good and evil. Eating of the tree was much easier than eating of the fruit of the tree, and it's through eating of the tree that the woman eventually fell into eating of the fruit of the tree.

So many people thought they could defeat the receiving of the mark of the beast, 666, on their bodies; but in their mind they are already receiving the ways of the beast without knowing. The woman was already eating of the forbidden tree in her mindset through what the serpent had fed her hearing and what her looking at the forbidden tree fed her seeing: and by the time she realized herself, she eventually took the fruit of the forbidden tree and ate, and then served as agent to give the same fruit to her husband with her.
