Scavengers Fulfilled the Word. Part three of three. Continued. Don’t be clean and yet fruitless, lest you become like one of those white—clean—but empty baskets on the head of the chief baker to Pharaoh before Joseph interpreted his dream in the dungeon. There are foods given to the dogs and foods not given to the dogs in the Word of the Lord. Food given to the dogs. Exodus 22:31: “You shall be holy people to Me, so you must not eat the meat of any animal that has been killed by other animals; instead, give it to the dogs.” First Kings 21:23–24: “The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel. Whoever that dies of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and whoever that dies in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.” In a nutshell, give to the dogs dead meat or carcasses that humans must not eat. Food not given to the dogs. Matthew 7:6: “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.” Matthew 15:26: “It is not good to take the children’s bread and to throw it to the dogs.” But it was even better for dogs to only lick up the blood of Ahab or Naboth than for the dogs to eat up their carcasses as well, just as it happened to Jezebel.
Dogs were allowed to lick up Lazarus’s sores or pores of his skin disease; but even with the skin of Lazarus covered with diseases, his body was holy to the Lord, and as such dogs could not have his body when he died, because angels immediately came to carry his body away from the dogs, Luke 16:21–22. A man could have a body full of destroying worms—bacteria, H I V, or viruses—and yet that man’s body is holy enough for him to see God in that body, Job 19:26. Lazarus, who was full of sores or skin-bacteria diseases, still had a body far better than Jezebel, who had smooth skin and even applied cosmetics to further improve her skin, like today’s Kardashian, on the day of her death. For the dogs could not eat Lazarus when he died, whereas the dogs ate up Jezebel when she died just moments after she applied her cosmetics and skin-beauty enhancers. Jezebel with the smoother skin was cast down from above to the dogs of her death, but Lazarus with the skin of infirmities was lifted up from beneath, off the dogs, to the bosom of Abraham by more than one angel. May—in the month of May—the Lord preserve your spirit, soul, and body till the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
