PART 01: WHO LIED — GOD OR SATAN?
QUESTION:
If someone is in hell forever and suffering there, how does that equate to being dead? God told Adam, “When you eat from it you will certainly die.” Satan told Eve, “You will not certainly die.” From what Adam and Eve knew, what is death, and who lied?
ANSWER:
First, Adam and Eve are no longer in hell, but were delivered from hell into heaven by the Second Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord descended into hell to save mankind, beginning with Adam and Eve, because they were the father and mother of all the living. Secondly, God told the truth, while the serpent lied, because they indeed died the day they ate of the forbidden tree. Thirdly, someone damned or condemned to suffer forever in hell is dead in all ramifications of being dead. Hell is the realm, or world, of the dead.
