Why would a good God allow Satan to tempt Adam and Eve in the garden? The reason was because the good God announced Adam and later Eve in the garden to the beasts. But Satan was in the garden, in embodiment of a beast called the serpent. Whenever God announces a man as leader, model, or standard for all, especially Satan, Satan usually refuses to acknowledge the man unless God allows Satan tempt the man.
