WISDOM NUGGETS — ALL THINGS, THINGS ABOVE, AND HEAVEN

Wisdom Nuggets: All Things, Things Above, and Heaven. One. A thing does not begin to belong to you on the day you discover it; revelation may uncover an inheritance that was already yours.

Two. What belongs to Christ belongs to those who belong to Christ as members of His Body.

Three. Revelation does not manufacture divine gifts; it opens our eyes to what God has already graciously given.

Four. All things belong to God, Christ belongs to God, and believers belong to Christ; therefore, divine order explains spiritual inheritance.

Five. Do not glory in men when God has placed Paul, Apollos, Cephas, the world, life, death, the present, and the future inside a greater inheritance.

Six. The Spirit searches the deep things of God so that believers may know what natural eyes and ears cannot discover.

Seven. Visible things announce the temporary; invisible things call attention to the eternal. Eight. Spiritual vision must graduate: from things under the sun, to things under Christ’s feet, and then to things above.

Nine. Do not confuse what surrounds you with all that exists; the horizon of Earth is not the boundary of reality. Ten. Everything beneath Christ’s feet is subject to Him, but the believer’s affection is called higher than everything beneath.

Eleven. Why spend life staring beneath His feet when grace invites you to behold His Face and seek what is above? Twelve. The direction of your affection determines the elevation of your attention.

Thirteen. “What is Heaven?” and “Heaven is what?” are different questions; wisdom distinguishes identity from description. Fourteen. God, His Spirit, His Presence, and His Word are Heaven to those who abide in Him.

Fifteen. Heaven is not an empty void; it is the elevated abode, sanctuary, and throne of God.

Sixteen. Heaven is place, authority, and level: a dwelling, a seat of government, and an ascended order.

Seventeen. Earth may contain nations and capitals, but creation is governed from Heaven’s headquarters.

Eighteen. Never measure heavenly reality only by earthly distance, speed, time, material, or natural understanding.

Nineteen. Heaven is above; therefore, spiritual sight must learn to look higher than the visible sky.

Twenty. Spiritual and physical are not necessarily opposites; something can be spiritual and still become visible or tangible.

Twenty-one. Physical does not always mean natural. The natural is earthly in origin; the spiritual can become physically manifest.

Twenty-two. Adam carried the image of the earthy, while Jesus revealed the Man from Heaven; believers await the image of the heavenly.

Twenty-three. A person may be spiritual in heart while living in a natural body and waiting for immortality—the glorified spiritual body.

Twenty-four. What is invisible will not remain hidden forever. The seen came from the unseen, and creation waits for full manifestation.
