Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” [Genesis 1:6 NKJV]

And God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters, to separate the waters from the waters.” [Genesis 1:6 BSB]

Bible Teacher:

When God spoke the Firmament into being, He assigned the place and the purpose for the Firmament in the midst of the waters He wanted partitioned. Both the emergence and the assignment of the Firmament were in the Word that created it. The Firmament was not given a being without a place, neither was the Firmament given a place without a purpose. 

★ Dividing the waters was the call for the creation of the Firmament, and,

★ Ruling the midst of the waters was the domain for the Firmament.

Commentaries:

[Psalms 33:6‭-‬7] — By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the stars by the Breath of His Mouth. He piles up the waters of the sea; He puts the depths into storehouses. 

Bible Teacher:

God already created the heavens above the waters when God spoke of this other heaven called firmament, expanse or sky. There were heavens of heavens even before there were waters above the heavens.
 

[Psalms 148:4‭-‬5 NKJV] — Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created.

Commentaries:

Does God plant heaven inside where there was no heaven before? Obviously, God planted the Firmament of heaven inside the midst of the waters where there was no heaven or firmament before. Yes, God does plant heavens.
 

[Isaiah 51:16] — "And I have put My words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of My Hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, You are My people."

Bible Teacher:

According to this Word of God above, a firmament that was not existing before was predestined or foreordained to both occupy the midst of the ancient waters and to divide or split the waters from the waters. Such ordinance required great Power to be given to the ordained firmament above the existing powers and bonds that held the waters together in the beginning. Thus, the power of the firmament (heaven) must be greater than the binding powers of the waters that existed before it, for the firmament to practically displace and split the binding powers of the waters and establish its domain or kingdom in the midst of the waters.

Behold both the Word and the Power of God that were partakers in making the firmament of heaven. God said it, and the firmament of heaven became entitled to receive the Power of God to divide, separate the waters asunder, and to create its own Space (Rooms) where there was none existing or easy for it. The firmament of heaven was to be equiped for that battle or purpose, and to divided its spoils (waters) and to create its space and heaven that now exists by the Word of God. The Firmament of Heaven is an evidence of the Power of the Word of God, and also an evidence that true Power may keep Expanding as the Firmament of Heaven expands.

[Psalms 150:1] — "Praise the LORD. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the expanse [firmament] of His power."

Commentaries:

Hell enlarged itself (Isaiah 5:4, Habakkuk 2:5), but the Firmament of Heaven expands and enlarges itself far more than hell could ever do.

Bible Teacher:

There were more opportunities and more goodworks to be done in the midst of the waters than presented over the face of the waters, but only when room (firmament) for independent movements is made for the living to walk, move and have being in their midst. Thus, the Word of God had to make room for the Spirit and for life (movement) inside the midst of those waters, and made room large enough to become realms among the waters. The firmament is also the Room, which is now a heaven.

Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. [Genesis 1:7 NKJV]
 

And God made the expanse [of sky] and separated the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so [just as He commanded]. [Genesis 1:7 AMP]

Bible Teacher:

God did not just make the Firmament in the midst of the waters, but He also divided the waters under the Firmament from the waters above the Firmament. He made the Firmament to be inside the waters, but made the waters inside the Firmament to come under the Firmament. The Firmament ruled the waters under it.
 

Are you like the Firmament in the hand of God? If you are, you may not have been called to rule all the existing waters or to rule from the top; but God called you and empowers you to rule from midst the waters and to rule the waters within you by bringing them under your subjection and control. He who rules his own spirit and brings his body under subjection is better than he who captures a city [Proverbs 16:32][1 Corinthians 9:27].

Commentaries:

The firmament of separation began the division or splitting of the worlds or realms. God was so determined and willing to divide the waters from the waters that He both spoke His will and made the firmament to practically fulfill that purpose: and it became a lasting ordinance. So much was invested by God into separating the waters below from their fellow waters above the Firmament. However, much more have been invested by God into separating His People above from their sin and death below through the offering of God's Son.

Bible Teacher:

Note: the Bible verse above did not say God divided/separated the waters above from the waters below the Firmament; rather it said God divided/separated the waters below from the waters above the Firmament. This meant the separation was not by exalting the waters above further, but by demoting or pushing down the waters below further because the Firmament expanded from top to bottom, not from bottom to top, creating more depths rather than creating more heights for the separated waters. Hence, angle of depression applied instead of angle of elevation.

Commentaries:

God made the Firmament, and what the Firmament did was what God did through it: and that remained so until God would change that. 
 

• When God made the Firmament He planted or made a heaven. [Genesis 1:8]

• When He separated/divided the waters, He stretched the heaven like a curtain. [Isaiah 40:22]
   
• He used the waters under the Firmament, called seas, as the Foundation of the Earth. [Psalms 24:1-4, Genesis 1:9-10]
   
• He used the waters above the Firmament as Base for the Beams of His Chambers. [Psalms 104:2-3]
   
• And it was so, and stood so in lasting ordinance, till when God would change that as vesture. [Hebrews 1:10-12]
   

[Zechariah 12:1 NKJV] — Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:

[Isaiah 42:5 NKJV] — Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it:

Bible Teacher:

But consider the separation of the waters below from the waters above the Firmament: the molecules of waters below the Firmament (Heaven) were separated from the molecules of waters above the Firmament, by God using the Firmament. The same waters, but those molecules that be below the midst or firmament were further abased and separated from those molecules that were above the Firmament. People are figuratively like waters: Some people have their minds on the things above in heavens where Christ is sitted with God, but other people have their minds on the things below on this earthly realms. Behold, there shall be separation between the people who's affection is above from the people who's affection is below when Christ shall appear, as there was separation between the waters who's molecules were above from waters who's molecules were below when the Firmament appeared. As it is written:

[Colossians 3:1-5 BSB'19] — "Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Put to death, therefore, the components of your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry."

And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day. [Genesis 1:8 NKJV]
 

And God called the firmament Heavens. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. [Genesis 1:8 AMPC]

Bible Teacher:

This "Heaven" came into being when the evening and the morning were the second day. But before then, there were the Heavens that came into being when it was in the Beginning and when there was neither evening nor morning. Thus:
 

• ★ This Heaven(s) of the second day was a physical Heaven (Sky) which was first called Firmament (Expanse) before it became called Heaven. But
   
• ★ Those Heaven(s) created in the beginning were spiritual Heavens (spiritual Realms).
   

As there's physical Heaven and physical earth, there's is also spiritual Heaven and spiritual Earth created in the beginning or eternity before time began.
 

Commentaries:

While God was giving the Firmament a new name, "Heaven," Time and Numbering were renaming that Day with a new first name or new number, "Second Day" or "Day Two." Evening and Morning continued to event even in the midst of the separated waters where the Firmament of Heaven was. Evidently, Time and Numbering were not just counting over the face of the waters above the Heaven, but also counted in same frequency within and beneath the waters below as well as in the Heaven or the Firmament. 
 

Bible Teacher:

Who said there's no time in heaven? Who said there's no Numbering in heaven? God called the Firmament, "Heaven;" and yet Time numbered the Second Day. Therefore, Heaven is not Timeless, but part of a Timeline.
 

The firmament of Heaven is Timed, and the stars and bodies therein are numbered with the age of Times. Signs of the Times also spring up from the Heaven and its host therein. There's Time for everything in heaven and under heaven. Therefore, this Heaven and this Earth shall pass away when there's no more time for them all to continue being.
 

It was in the second day this heaven was made and expanded to receive the creations of God, and the heaven received the switching timer between the evening and the morning. Time or regulation of day and night or of light and darkness, was the first to fill that heaven after God. And when that heaven shall be no more, time will be changed.
 

Commentaries:

When God was calling it "Firmament in the midst of the waters" God was bringing it into being and using it divide the ancient floods. But when God called it "Heaven" God turned it into a sanctuary, tabernacle or dwelling place, for Celestial thing. Thus, this heaven is not just a Firmament that stretches or divides the waters from the waters, but a sanctuary and domain that houses and upholds powers, glories and hosts of heaven.
 

REVIEW OF THE EVENTS BY THE SECOND DAY
 

In the second day, was the firmament of heaven established and empowered to reign over the midst of the waters and to declare the works and glory of God forever.
 

★ In the first day, God made the light and established the light as "Time" to reign and count the measures of opportunities or chances allotted to each thing in creation.
 

★ In the second day, God made the firmament and established the firmament as "Heaven" to reign and declare the works and glory of God in God's creation.

But the second day was the only day in the first six days we were not told "God saw it was good," since it was already Heaven. Since it was heaven, it was good because God it called heaven.

Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. [Genesis 1:9 NKJV]

 

God said, “Let the waters below the sky collect together in one place so that the land may appear.” And so it was. [Genesis 1:9 FBV]

Bible Teacher:

In the Bible verse above, the Word of God commanded the gathering of the waters under the Heaven into one place, to make room for the Dryland to appear and manifest out of obscurity: and the dryland indeed appeared as it was so.
 

Before God spoke this, there was no covering or obscuring of the waters under the heavens, but there was covering or obscuring of the dry-Land under the waters. The Heaven was not preventing the waters under it from manifesting or appearing, but the waters were preventing the Land under them from manifesting or appearing. The Heaven still gave and allowed places for the waters under the Heaven to be seen from above, but the waters would neither give any place nor allowance to the Land (Earth) under the waters. This which the waters under the Heaven did to prevent the appearing of the dryland from under the waters was not good in the Sight of God.

Commentaries:

The heavens allowed the waters under them to shine and be seen, but the same waters wickedly prevented the earth them to shine or appear seen. Thank God, who's Word commanded the waters to adjust or shift, and exalted the dryland from being under the water to being above the waters so that the earth may also shine and be seen alongside with the seas (waters).
 

Bible Teacher:

The earth itself was once a hidden secret covered under the waters. But behold by the Word of God, the secret of the hidden earth began to be made manifest above the waters in open heaven. Even so, all secrets and covered things of the earth shall appear discovered and uncovered in due course.

Commentaries:

When waters cover the land, then there is ”Flood:" Flooding is not good, but pure Seas are good. The waters under the heavens occupied all places under the heavens and yet there was no solid ground, no foundation or no visible mountain; and basically no place for the ground until God spoke this Word above. Now there's place for the waters and ground for earth-Land, for all to thrive.

Bible Teacher:

By this Word of God, the Waters still retain their place, but the Earth-Land gained its "Ground." To those who are good, getting exposed or revealed would mean gaining ground for you, just as it was for the earth coming out from under the covering of waters.
 

There were places but they were without solid ground, until God gave the communication that gathered the waters under the heavens into one storage place and empowered the other place(s) into becoming solid or strong ground. God laid great Foundation (Ground) on the waters by His Communication over the waters. And that foundation (dryland) was refined or tried by firing or heating agents called dryers (dehydrating agents), just as gold is refined by furnace and dryers.
 

Make sure you are not just gaining places, but basically gaining grounds. Like God here, know difference between having places and having grounds (foundations), and you may have to communicate, order, arrange or store things wisely for them to give up places, in order to gain more ground. Having just one place but gaining more ground is better than gaining more places but losing ground or foundation. Therefore, order your communication wisely for solid ground and store place.

And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. [Genesis 1:10 NKJV]
 

God named the dry land “Earth.” He named the water that was gathered together “Seas.” God saw that this was good. [Genesis 1:10 ICB]

There was a time the earth was just a formless deep waters, void under darkness and God would not continue to call the huge mass of waters "Earth." Behold God saw it good to call only the dryland "Earth" after He separated the waters from it. And the gathering of the waters He would not call earth but "Seas."

The waters preferred to mix up with the earth. But when the waters cover the dryland, it should not be called "Earth" but "Floods." God made the waters under heaven to be called "Seas" not 'Floods.' Therefore, He set a bound for the floods under heaven that they no more turn to cover the earth. [Psalms 104:9]. It was when God separated the dryland from the waters He gave name to the dryland (Earth) first before He gave name to the waters (Seas) that had been in "Genesis 1:2." And it was when God separated the light from darkness He named the light (Day) first before He named the darkness (Night) that had been in "Genesis 1:2." And God saw good to keep them separated in each case.

The LORD sits as King upon the Flood (waters) that are above the firmament of heaven (Psalms 29:10); but He does not want flood under heaven. He approved the flood above the firmament of heaven, but not the flood under the heaven.

Bible Teacher:

It only appeared as the dry-Land from the waters, but it became the Earth in that which God called it. If the dry-Land was to be called according to how it appeared while the waters were separating from it, God could have called the dry-Land "Desert" or "Wilderness" after its dryness. Behold, God rather called the dry-Land "Earth" after its firmness and purpose.
 

Also, the waters that gathered together were not named "Sea" but "Seas." Though they be gathered together in one place, they were not singular or one number but divided/distinctive even in their being gathered together in one place. So they were not called "Sea" (Singular) but called "Seas" (plural), just as they were not made of "Water" but "Waters."

Commentaries:

The seas gradually became called Sea, as they lost their unique difference being together. A day comes when there shall be no more sea, as these seas and earth shall be removed with the associated heaven. However, a new earth and a new heaven shall be brought up by God, and only a single Sea of Living Waters of Life shall be found in them.

Bible Teacher:

Before the new earth comes, remember the old earth was once a new earth when it appeared out of the waters and was called Earth in the Bible under review. This Bible verse above contains an improved and reformed status of the state of the earth from when it was formless and void with darkness over the face of the deep. Here was a reevaluated update on the statusquo, when God had corrected the first failures, bad names, poor conditions, and devaluation, found over earth.
 

• 1. God changed the name of the earth from been called "Formless" or "Void" into being called this new name, "Earth."
   
• 2. God changed the name of the waters from been called "the deep" into being called this new name, "Seas."
   
• 3. God no longer saw things Chaotic when He saw them, but saw things Good and Harmonic. God was pleased with what He saw of them.
   

Like God here, you may have to work until you can satisfactorily rename your works from badworks to goodworks, from faulty works to excellent works, from poor performance to great performance.

Commentaries:

God saw it was good, meaning: 

• It was good for the Firmament to be as it is and to be called Heaven;
• It was good for the Dryland to be as it is and to be called Earth;
• It was good for the Waters to be as it is and to be called Seas.
   

What was not good but formless and void was later called "Flood" and "Face of the Deep under the darkness." The Word of God rebuked the Floods in establishing the heaven, the earth and the seas.

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. [Genesis 1:11 NKJV]
 

Then God said, “Let the earth produce plants. Some plants will make grain for seeds. Others will make fruit with seeds in it. Every seed will produce more of its own kind of plant.” And it happened. [Genesis 1:11 ICB]

As soon as the earth was established and named forever, the earth became what a dryland was not by this Word of God expressed above. God spoke, and things began coming out (growing forth) from within the earth and surfacing the face of the earth. Dryland became Greenland, and the wilderness became forest of fruitful field.
 

There was neither rain nor sowing (planting), yet by His Word, God made the earth to bring forth in one day [Isaiah 66:8]. And the plants offspring He commanded the earth to bringforth and to bear were those that would in turn be yielding (bearing) seeds and fruits afterwards. His Word empowered the earth to bear fruits that would in turn bear fruits, and to yield seeds that would in turn yield seeds; so the chain of reproduction, seed-yielding or fruit bearing would be sustained. Nothing that is unfruitful and unyielding should continue on earth, for God required every offspring of the earth to be fruit bearers, seed bearers and yielders, including mankind themselves, plants and animals. Every man must be fruitful and yielding to God if the man must remain on God's earth.

Bible Teacher:

Before it became so and happened, it was neither natural nor humanly possible for the earth to bring, to give or to yield, anything. But as soon as God said it, it became so and happened that it's natural and common for the earth to bring, to yield or to give. At first it was a supernatural wonder and miracle of God's Word, and since then it had continued to happen as the earth keeps responding and obeying the same Word of God spoken once in the beginning.
 

This Word of God transformed the Earth into a Bringer, a Yielder, a Producer, or a Giver: and the same Word makes it consistent. That was the day "Giving" began in the earth: and Giving is the foundation of bringing forth, producing, yielding, growing and bearing fruits and seeds. Seeds contain information of Giving. When Seeds began to exist on earth was when "Giving" began on earth. Everything about the plants, seeds and fruits, is establishing "The Reality and the Necessity of Giving, which is also Bringing, Yielding, Producing, Bearing fruits etc." Giving was first established on earth before Receiving, which also means Producing came before Consuming came. When there was no consumer or receiver on earth, the Word of God made the earth producer, bringer, yielder, bearer or giver.
 

It is more blessed to give than to receive, and more blessed to produce than to consume. Producing is founded on Giving; it's a process of bringing one's own contribution or strength to the table. The earth itself was the first bringer (giver) that brought things to this Earthly Table; and all the earth brought forth that day were by default, "True Givers." These things the earth brought forth to the table included Plants, Vegetation, Seeds, Trees and Fruits, of all their kinds, according to the Word of God's Mouth.

Commentaries:

In the same day the dry ground was formed and named Earth, God gave the communication that empowered the dry ground of the earth into becoming a yielder, a producer, a reproducer or a multiplier, a bringer and a bearer of fruits and harvest out of seeds sown and food planted in it as returns on investments. The day the earth was setup and called was the same day God began to place demands and expectations on the earth for fruitfulness and yielding results.
 

God began to demand harvest from His Earth, and to expect fruitfulness from His Works. The earth was the first of the Earthly Works of God, from which God requires fruits and harvest. Mankind is part of the Earth's ground, and God also requires mankind to bear Him fruits and to yield His Harvest.

Bible Teacher:

Mankind would discover the cure after they discovered a disease (sickness), but God established the cure before a disease (sickness) ever came. Before any problem or disease ever exist, God already established its Solution or Healing (Herb) before it. For giving existed before receiving began, abundance existed before scarcity came, food existed before hunger began, and there were producers on earth before consumers emerged.
 

The varieties of plants, herbs, seeds, fruits and trees, were varieties of answers and solutions to those things that were yet to come in need for them. Thus, by then, eyes had not seen, ears had not heard, what God already prepared for those yet to come on the earth.

And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. [Genesis 1:12 NKJV]
 

The earth produced vegetation—plants that produce seeds and trees that produce seeded fruit—each one according to its own kind. God saw that it was good. [Genesis 1:12 FBV]

Bible Teacher:

Even though the earth brought forth, produced, gave its strength, bore fruits and yielded seeds, in obeying God's Word, the earth was doing these things according to their kinds. And God saw it was good. Behold the freewill from God's Word and the appreciation of value from God's Sight, to these which the earth was doing. The Earth was having its own way and doing its own kinds of things peculiar to all varieties of plants production, while obeying the Word of God.
 

№ ·¹· The Earth brings forth fruits of herself/itself [Mark 4:28]. This meant the Earth acts as if it's its own boss, and not necessarily act under any duress or force to bring forth. It's called yielding, but the earth does not yield its strength out of fear or pressure to anyone; rather the earth yields it's strength and brings forth fruits out of its own freewill to fulfill the harvest of sowing and reaping, giving and receiving. For example, the ground that cursed Cain for spilling the blood of his brother, Abel, rebelled or refused to yield its strength to Cain [Genesis 4:12]. For this reason, there are grounds that are good grounds because they would easily yield to the sowers, some thirty fold, some sixty fold, and some 100 fold [Mark 4:8]. But there are also grounds that are not good at yielding, some of which would waste the seeds or investments in them, others would either ignore those seeds or wickedly yield thorns and thistles or different things instead.
 

№ ·²· The Earth brings Leaves, Seeds, Trees and Fruits, according to their kinds, not according to your minds nor according to the Earth's likeness. The Earth was not producing or reproducing according to the Sower or according to the earth itself, but according to the Seeds, Trees and Fruits. The loyalty of the earth in bringing forth was to the Kinds of Information/Instructions inside the Seeds/Trees/Fruits, and not loyalty to information/instruction of the Sower, Investor or Commander. Behold, the information that structured the shapes, sizes, nature and behaviors, of each seed, leaf, tree and fruit, was not according to God's Word but according to the kindness or uniqueness of each of them. So even though the earth was yielding her strength to bringforth these, the earth was not imposing her strength on these. Yielding one's strength is different from imposing one's strength. And just as God was not imposing Himself to force the earth to yield its strength, the earth too was not imposing itself to force the plants to be or look like the earth. So there were millions of divers plants, seeds and fruits, and yet none of them took after the resemblance of the earth that produced and bore them; and they barely have the same color of the earth, and instead turned the surface color of the earth into greenery. Therefore, the earth have borne and fed offspring that do not even look like it in any kind; and yet the earth remained faithful to their kinds according to their kinds.
 

№ ·³· And God saw it was good: He appreciated and valued it. God show respect to it, for it was the product His Word and Works.

Commentaries:

In the Bible verse above, the Earth yielded, gave, and presented its first Offerings of the fruits of the Ground to God according as God required; and God saw it was good and acceptable in His Sight.
 

Being a dry ground did not turn it into a desert or wilderness, neither was it barren because it was newly setup. God was not looking at the season (time) for it to bear fruits, but looking at how good it was for it to bear fruits, and to yield plants and products that will also bear fruits, seeds and herbs.
 

Be faithful in bearing good fruits, good yields and good harvests to God, like the earth was.

Bible Teacher:

At the time God saw it was good, there was no eater or consumer yet to the fruits that were produced and no sower yet to the seeds that were yielded: there was only the Seer, God, who saw it was good. He didn't eat or taste them to know it was good; He only saw them and saw it was good.
 

Those trees existed with their fruits and vegetables and seeds, without anyone to eat or use them; and yet God saw it was good, appreciated and approved it for the earth and them. It was good even when it was not food. It doesn't depend on being food for it to be good. Even so, your books|works may be good in the sight of God even if it has not yet been food to mankind. Behold the trees in the Garden of Eden were all good even though not all were food to mankind. And even when all mankind and all eaters were driven away from the Garden leaving those trees with their fruits in it, those trees and fruits remained good in the sight of God even though no eater could reach or desire them. A tree and its fruits should not get its validation based on size of the accessibilities, attentions and attractions, People and Animals have toward it. Rather, let the validation of a tree and its fruits come from God.

In the past, mankind queued for food at the tree of knowledge of good and evil, which the devil made to appear very attractive, sweet and captivating, to their desires. This they did, neglecting the better food from the tree of life in the same Garden. Even until now, most men and women are still after the lusts and prides of this world; and only fewer of men and women seek the Kingdom of God and the eternal treasures of His Righteousness and Life.
 

Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.” [John 6:27 NKJV]

So the evening and the morning were the third day. [Genesis 1:13 NKJV]
 

There was evening, then morning—a third day. [Genesis 1:12 GW]

Bible Teacher:

What became the third day were not the things made or done on the third, but the evening and morning only were what became the third day. The day was counted by the third evening and the third morning, and not by the activities or lack of activities in them. And being the third day meant it was the third time or the third number of evening and morning since the beginning of God's creation of the Earth. However,
 

№* — There is difference between "What became the third day" and "What the third day became." Even as:
 

№* — There is difference between "What counts the Day (third day)" and "What the Day (third day) counts."
 

What became or counted the third day were the evening and morning at their third advent. But what the third day became or counted were things and events that came in and came by the third day.

Commentaries:

Same as the difference between "To number your days" and "To Weigh (account of) your days." Like Daniel pronounced the handwriting on the wall, "Mene, Mene (To number your days)" and then "Tekel (To Weigh your days)"
 

@ To Mene or To Number your days — is to truly estimate or count how many evenings and mornings are yet to become or count as days in your remaining lifetime.
 

@ To Tekel or To Weigh your days — is to truly review, compare or value the worth (evaluation) and significance of the things you did, things you said or things you made in your past days or past times already spent in your lifetime, on the scale of what was required of you and how much was required from you.

Bible Teacher:

The repeated events of evening and morning continued, and Time numbered that day "Third Day" or "Day Three." Evening and Morning were the only seasons that switched through in the third day like in the previous days, and no other seasons or weather conditions were setup in the third day. Yet, all those things that were accomplished in the third day alone were basically things that would require almost all the different seasons and weathers of a years before they are accomplished by natural standards. The Word and the Zeal of God are better time conditioners for accomplishing things through the earth or ground, more than the observable seasons and weather conditions of any part of the earth in any time or season.
 

• No Winter mentioned, no cold weather breeze noticed or no wind season captured; yet the waters were gathered together into one seas on the third day.
   
• No Summer mentioned, no Hot weather breeze noticed or no wind season captured; yet the dryland appeared out of wetness flood or a dryland was formed on the third day.
   
• No Springtime season mentioned, yet the plants grew up out of the earth's ground on the third day.
   
• No Autumn time season mentioned, yet the plants matured and bore fruits out of the earth's ground on the third day.
   

God changes times and seasons for His Word and Will, and not the other way around. Work and Watch through observing the Word and Will of God, than you do through observing the conditions of weathers and seasons. Instead of looking at climate change, rather be looking at the Words of God spoken in the season and out of season.

Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; [Genesis 1:14 NKJV]
 

And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to distinguish between the day and the night, and let them be signs to mark the seasons and days and years. [Genesis 1:14 BSB]

Bible Teacher:

I know you love revelations, inspirations, discernment and Prophecies (predictions). But have you considered when and how God made these treasures of information available to those dwelling in the physical worlds? Here is the beginning and the way God made these treasures of information available to dwellers in the physical realms — behold this Bible verse above.
 

What God said here would eventually cause more Lights to come into being in the physical firmament of heaven. And these Lights by default would cause divisions, separations, distinctions or differences, in order to avail, multiply or increase, signs for  revelations, for inspirations, for illuminations, for discernments, for prophecies and predictions etc, and seasons for times, for days, for years and for activities etc,  in the physical realms.
 

These Lights are not just there to make you see "Things" but much more to make you see "Signs and Seasons." Until now, many people only use these Lights just for seeing things, which basically are things in the present and in the open. But only fewer people have deployed into using these Lights for also seeing Signs, Omens, Seasons, Discernments, Prophecies, Numbering of Days and Years, etc, which are basically hidden things, secret things or things to come.

Commentaries:

You have known that the Word of God is sharper than two edged sword when it comes to dividing asunder even between soul and spirit, joint and marrow. The Word of God created and empowered these Lights to divide between day and night, between day and day, between year and year, between light and light, between darkness and darkness, etc, in order to reveal more hidden things and communicate them in the "Signs-Language" to those that have the understanding of them.

Bible Teacher:

There are billions of these Lights that came into being by this Spoken Word of God above, but their purpose is never to eliminate darkness completely. Infact many of these Lights, particularly those that rule by night, need the darkness to fully express them and to be seen and understood better. They are called Lights, but they are not enemies of the darkness; rather they as Lights are the "Watchers" and "Prophets" who see ahead and give signs and signals. They are like watchmen at watchtowers. Therefore, they were the first prophets or watchers God anointed to begin their prophetic ministries in the physical realms. These Lights were made "Revealers of secrets" even before those needing their revelations and lights were created or born.

Commentaries:

Here, God communicated into creation the multiple lights having specified location, functions and purposes. These lights were ordained and empowered administrators, ministering differences between the day and the night, for signs, wonders, seasons, times, and numbering years. These lights are special forces empowered and ordained by God to make and to communicate differences, distinctions, contrasts, changes, separations, wonders, signs and significances, to various times and to seasons at various levels and degrees of days and years. And because of these lights, all times and seasons are not the same, but different and unique. Therefore, 
 

• Lights are not just about revealing things but also about revealing times,
   
• Lights are not just about exposing darkness but also about explaining darkness,
   
• Lights are not just about casting away darkness but also about casting away monotony and ignorance.

Getup and setup the Light-Watchers that tell times, signs, seasons and differences; together with the lights that reveal things. Knowing hidden times and their differences are as important as knowing hidden things and their differences.

and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. [Genesis 1:15 NKJV]

Commentaries:

This is the Word of God that made the Lights there (in heaven) to give light on earth. So much Lights have been in heaven, but none was on earth and none gave light on earth until this Word of God Commanded these Lights to give light on earth. When the Word said, "Let there be light," 'there was light but it was not giving light on earth. And when the Word said, "Let Lights be there (in firmament of heaven)," the same Word had to specify saying, "and let those Lights be for lights or serve as Lights in order to give light on earth."
 

When God said, let there be light, there was light but the light was not serving as light or being for light on earth: rather that light served as day (time). Also these Lights in the Firmament of heaven were by default going to be for or serve as signs, seasons, days and years, etc, until this Word of God above added that they should also be for lights or serve as lights to give light on earth. To give light on earth was what qualifies them to shine on earth. To shine means to give light, not to take it. Many people think they are shining because they are getting or receiving praises and things from other people. But shining is not in what you are receiving, but rather shining is in what you are giving out as lights.

Bible Teacher:

Their far locations in the firmament of the heavens will not prevent their lights, glories, signs, inspirations or revelations, from reaching those on earth. Basically, when they are faithful lights in the firmament of heaven, their light will also reach the worlds on the earth. Some Lights can both light up heavens and earth. 
 

If you are being a great faithful light or star in heaven, you need no worry for your light to reach on earth. Those on earth will later see and celebrate your light so long as you keep your domain in the realms of heaven, and you fulfill your high calling (God's ordained roles for you) in the high heavens. The higher you go above and the more committed and faithful you are to your appointment and ordination above, the more you give light both in heaven and on earth. There's no servant of God who is a great light or star (celebrity) in heaven above and among the angels of God, that would not eventually become a known lightbearer and celebrated star on earth when the Kingdom of Heaven prevails over all the earth. If you be great in heaven, you shall also be great on earth. The fame and reputations in heaven above shall swallow the fame and reputations on earth.
 

Therefore, do not strive to be the light on earth when you are not a light in heaven above; rather seek first the Kingdom of God and how to become a great shining light above in heaven, and then it will eventually be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let your city be set up on a hill (heaven), and then the city set on the hill shall not be hidden.

Commentaries:

A man trying to become a light on earth without he first being a light in heaven is likened to a man who lights his candle but puts it under a strong covering, and such light gets covered or swallowed by darkness.
 

But a person who has first become a shining and burning light in heaven is likened to a conspicuous city on a hill that can not be hidden to men.

Bible Teacher:

The same lights ordained as administrators and watchers of times and their differences, are still going to also minister or give light on earth across the firmament of the heavens through thousands of light-years to reach the earth.
 

±±± The primary assignments of those lights [distinguishing between day and night, between days, years, signs and seasons], will not deprive their duty as light to give light on earth.
 

±±± Their duties of revealing hidden times and their differences, now also include their duties of revealing hidden things and their differences.

God made two great Lights, and He also made the Stars as well. The Stars are those Lights that do not primarily serve as light on earth nor give light on earth, but serve for signs, seasons, days, years, times and communication. But there were two basic and great Lights, different from the Stars because they give light on earth from the heavens. One of the two great Lights God made was far greater than the other. And the greater Light (the Sun) was made to rule or govern the day, while the lesser Light (the moon and stars) was to rule or govern the night.
 

So God made Lights rulers over Times and Seasons; and it is good to have the Lights ruling the Times, and not the Times ruling the Lights. When you say, "There's time for everything," make sure that you mean "under the Sun" and not 'over the Sun.' Every Time that is under the Sun is a time under subjection or under the rule of Light, not just the rule of law.

Commentaries:

God made two of them great Lights to the earth, and made the rest of them Stars. One of the two great Lights was made greater than the other, and given dominion to rule as king of the day; and the lesser light was to rule the night.
 

Remember, the Light that rules and gives light during the day is considered greater than the Light that rules and gives light during the night. If the brilliance of your light is relatively more glorious, remarkable and surpassingly greater than other daylights or great lights, it means your light rules the other lights around. The Light that is brilliant or ruling only in the night or darkness where there are relatively none or less Lights, is a local champion. Therefore, even that which is glorious may not have distinguished glory by reason of another glory that excels it.
 

[2 Corinthians 3:10 BSB'19] — "Indeed, what was once glorious has no glory now in comparison to the glory that surpasses it."
 

Don't just be a great Star, but basically be a great Light to both Lights and Darkness. The Stars may be more glorious and more brilliant than many Lights, but unless they fulfill the duties of being Light or serving as light to those on earth below, they are just stars or celebrities, but not Lightbearers or Leaders in light.

Bible Teacher:

When God made the Lights, He also made "Greatness" in Lights. He did not make these Lights to compete with each other for who becomes greater than the other, but He made each one greater than the other by default according to the Will of God their Maker.
 

God was not just bringing the Lights into being, but He was also bringing the Kingdom of Lights into being. Thus, some Lights were born Kings or Rulers from the beginning over times, signs and seasons. In the Kingdom of God, the greater the authority God gives you, the more the things of light you may rule or command over time. The greater Light rules the day because the greater Light has the authority of God to rule or command things of light time. Even the time of darkness, called "Night," was made to be ruled by a great Light in the Kingdom of Light. Again, it is not time that rules the Lights; rather the Lights rule the times in faithfulness and signs.

Commentaries:

There are "Times and Seasons" that rule these Lights, instead of these Lights ruling over those times and seasons; and that's because those times and seasons have greater influence than these Lights for some seasons and reasons. Nevertheless, when such times overshadow or overwhelm these Lights, the Lights give what is termed as "Signs of Times," such as the Sun turning black or darkened, and the Moon turning into blood or red.
 

Signs of the Times mean these Lights announce things greater than them or times above their rules. Yes, there is a time and place in which darkness must be stronger than these Lights, to overrule these Lights. That Time is called, "The Day of the Lord." As it is written,
 

[Amos 5:18-20] — "Woe to you that desire the day of the LORD! To what end is it for you? The day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? Even very dark, and no brightness in it?"

Bible Teacher:

Know this! Whenever the Sun rules the day and the Moon rules the night, they are showing forth the Goodness and Mercy of God. God is Good and Merciful, for He makes His Sun to rise on both the good people and on the evil/wicked people [Matthew 5:45]. Therefore behold the enduring mercy and long-suffering of God in the Sun rules by day and the Moon by night. As it is written,
 

[Psalms 136:7‭-‬9 NKJV] — To Him who made great lights, For His mercy endures forever— The sun to rule by day, For His mercy endures forever; The moon and stars to rule by night, For His mercy endures forever.

God did not just place these Lights in the heavens just because they were Lights, but He placed them in the heavens because they would have to give light to the earth below through the heavens. Not that God entrusted those Lights with the heavens for the earth, but that God entrusted the heavens with those Lights for the earth. God trusted the heavens would neither prevent nor cover those Lights inside them; but that the heavens will share the light of their Lights to the earth below them.
 

Better for the earth that the heavens always have and keep those Lights for all the earth, than for the earth to have custody of those Lights for now: For now all the earth may benefit the light of those Lights because they are not on earth but in the heavens; for the heavens who are open and faithful in displaying, revealing and sharing them to the inhabitants of the earth.

Commentaries:

We see the earth full of riches, abundance of resources and foods, but yet there are poverty and hunger on earth because some parts, some men and some animals, of the earth greedily and selfishly hoard and hide these things from the others on the same earth. Even the gospel light of the Lord Jesus Christ have not yet reached all parts of the world either because some are not sharing that gospel light with other parts of the world or because there are some opposing/hindering the spreading of the gospel light to all parts of earth. But as you can see, all the face of the earth do enjoy those Lights because God set or placed those Lights in the heavens to give light on earth. Nothing like their light being unaffordable to the poor or unreachable on earth.
 

[Psalms 19:4-6 FBV] — "Yet what they say is heard all over the earth; their message goes to the whole world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun. It's like a bridegroom coming out of his room, like a fit athlete happy to run a race. It rises on one side of the heavens and travels across to the other. Nothing is hidden from its heat."
 

Share the Light God placed within you, not to glorify yourself but to give light to those on earth and those below your position.

Bible Teacher:

By this Bible verse above, a day maybe defined as a segment of space and time below or under the sun, and a night maybe defined as a segment of space and time below or under the moon and stars. When you come under any day or night, you have also come under the rulership or a government of these Luminaries over that day or night, since God made the Sun to rule over the day, and the Moon and Stars to rule over the night. To rule over the day and over the night also means both the day and the night are brought under those rulers. There's no day above or over the sun that rules the day; rather by this Bible verse above, a "Day" means "Under the Sun," and a "Night" means under the Moon and Stars. Are you over or above your king or you are under your king? Should there a day above or over the Sun who rules the day?
 

In ruling over the day and over the night, these lights shall be dividing or separating the light from the darkness. God empowered them with the wisdom they would need to be able to separate the light from the darkness, and the wisdom to rule over day and night times. God is the LORD of Light and Wisdom.
 

The God who gave those Lights dominion to rule and divide the day and night that had been before them, is the same God who gave mankind dominion to rule and subdue the earth and seas with all their creatures that had been before them.
 

God made those Lights "Rulers and Dividers" of day and night, and God saw it was good and was pleased with what He saw. It is both good and pleasant in the Sight of God for both the day and the night to be ruled and divided by the Lights God ordained, instead of the day and the night being unruly or unruled.

Commentaries:

Remember, it was basically a good thing God did by setting those Lights up and empowering them to both rule and divide the day and night, or by empowering mankind to replenish, subdue and dominate the earth and seas. He did not leave it that way because it was great or small in His Eyes, but left it that way because it was good and pleasant in His Eyes. Being good and pleasant, those rulers could be trusted by God to care for those things they were empowered to rule without abusing their powers or oppressing their subjects. It was for God's Goodness and Mercy, as it is written:
 

[Psalms 136:7-9 MKJV] — "To Him who made great lights; for His mercy endures forever. The sun to rule by day; for His mercy endures forever. The moon and stars to rule by night; for His mercy endures forever."
 

Even so, your kingdom or rulership shall either be established or abolished, sustained or discontinued, according to how Good, Mercy and Pleasant, it is in the Eyes of God.

Bible Teacher:

Great Lights were made rulers over days and nights, not because it's a great thing to do but, because it's a good thing to do. Goodness is better than Greatness in the Sight of God: some men are Great, but no man is truly Good compared to God in goodness. You don't have to be great when you are little, but you have to always be good in the sight of God whether you are great or you are little. Be good, be merciful, and keep it good in God's Sight.

Commentaries:

God did not make those lights great rulers because it was great; rather He made those lights great because it was good. 
 

Great lights were made and ordained to rule over day and night, and to divide between light and darkness, not because it was great thing to do but because it was good thing to do in God's sight.
 

It was not just "great works" God was doing, but "good works." "Greatness" must be subject to "goodness" for the greatness

to be sustained; and "position" must be subject to "purpose" for the position to be justified in God's sight. 
 

Those who are "great" but in evil, have a greatness that shall be cast down and destroyed; for it is not good to leave such ones so great or to allow them keep rule forever. God used greatness to serve God's goodness: For God being good is for He is everlasting Mercy. Without God's Mercy enduring forever, God would not be forever Good. Therefore it is written,
 

[Psalms 136:1] - "0 give thanks to the LORD; for He is good: for His mercy endures forever."
 

He did not say, "No man is great;' rather I said, "No man is good except God in heaven" (Luke 18:19). Many are doing "great works" instead of doing "good works," for which God called them. You will know good works, for good works will bring or keep all things into the enduring mercy of God forever.

"And the evening and the morning were the fourth day." [Genesis 1:19 AKJV]
 

There was evening, then morning—a fourth day. [Genesis 1:19 GW]

Notwithstanding the emergence and ordination of these Lights and Stars over day and night, there were still evening and morning. And the day counts did not restart to begin counting from day one already because of these new Administration of Lights, but rather continued in its counting series at Day 4 or the fourth day. Therefore:
 

***** "Day Count" did not begin when these Lights in charge of Days and Nights began. Yes, "Day Count" has been before them.
 

***** "Morning" did not begin when the Sun in charge of Sunrise began. Yes, "Morning" has been before the Sunrise ever began.
 

***** "Evening" did not begin when the Sun in charge of Sunset began. Yes, "Evening" has been before the Sunset ever began.
 

***** "Days" have been before the Light or Sun to rule the Days came into being. And "Nights" have been before the Moon and Stars to rule the Nights came into being.

Commentaries:

Instead of seeking the Sun rise for morning/dawn to come or seeking Sun set for evening/dusk, you should rather Seek the Lord God Himself who makes all these these including making the sun, the stars, the morning dawn, and the evening dusk, even without the sun, moon or stars, to assist Him. As it is written,
 

[Amos 5:8 AMPC] — Seek Him Who made the [cluster of stars called] Pleiades and [the constellation] Orion, Who turns the shadow of death or deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, Who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out upon the face of the earth–the Lord is His name–

Bible Teacher:

There had been Evenings before the sun began setting, and there had been Mornings before the sun began rising. And the counting (numbering) of days, which had been ongoing before those lights were ordained to rule or administer over them, neither stopped nor restarted afresh because of those Lights, Sun, Moon and Stars. The time did not restart to first day, but continued counting and counted forth day. So those Lights know they were born on the forth day, and they were not there in the previous days before then. Nevertheless,
 

• The day and night, which those lights were ordained to separate or divide, were there on the first day and they may update those Lights of events during the first day.
   
• The heaven or firmament, in which those lights were tabernacled or setup, was there on the second day and it may update those Lights of events during the second day.
   
• The earth or sea, to which those lights were to give light, was there on the third day and they may update those Lights of events during the third day.
   
• And most importantly, those lights may be updated by God who is Everlasting, from everlasting to everlasting.
   

Basically, those great Lights and Stars were made highly intelligent, powerful and brilliant enough, to separate, distinguish, and administer, times, seasons, signs, days and years. So they have the secret information of the times behind them, times before them, and times yet to come. Those Lights are not just Rulers, Stars, Watchers or Administrators, but they are also Prophets in heaven.
 

You may not have been in the times past or in the times to come, but you can relate with the One who has been in all times and eternity.

Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” [NKJV]
 

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. [KJV]

Bible Teacher:

God has told the waters to bring forth the abundance of living creatures (treasures) that should occupy the waters and utilize the ways in the waters; and the living creatures that would utilize the ways in the open heaven above the earth. And the waters have since been occupied and utilized as a distinct World or sub-world.
 

There are ways of life both in the waters and in the open firmament of heaven, and the waters here received the Word of God that authorized them to become habitation (marine world) for the ways of life under waters.

Commentaries:

The Living Creatures are living treasures both under the waters and over the waters/earth. Though the treasures of life in heaven above are far greater than the treasures of life in the waters and in the open firmament of heaven. Yet, the seas abounded with living creatures that were living treasures and vessels for the ways of life under heaven. With them, the waters of the deep and the earth were no longer void (empty).

Bible Teacher:

It's the Will of God expressed by the Word of God in the Bible verse above, for the molecules of waters under the Heaven, those molecules that formed the waters, to also form the living creatures of the waters. And that the living creatures become moving creatures that have life and movements in abundance of varieties, under waters and over.
 

At that instance, in which this express Word of God possessed the waters under the Heaven to bring forth living creatures and living things, all the waters under Heaven became "Living Waters." As a result of that, Life and Bodies of various kinds and sizes were abundant in the Living Waters then for begetting offspring of the waters and birds who like Moses were drawn out of the waters.

Commentaries:

And what's the Assignment or Purpose to fulfill by the living creatures of the waters in the Word of God above?
 

• Filling the waters, and ways in the waters;
• Flying in the Atmosphere (open heaven) and,
• Living in them.
   

These were good enough reasons or purposes (assignments) for creating the abundance of innumerable kinds or varieties of living beings or creatures in the waters and across the atmosphere. God communicated these things in His creating living Aquatic and Avian creatures/beings in various kinds and abundance.
 

Those God has called and empowered to fill the waters independently were also given their life that depends on the waters they fill. Thus, they were to have life that needs the waters as much as the waters need them too. Hence, symbiosis mutual communion or fellowship.
 

Yes, the waters need them to be filled or fulfilled, for waters should not be dry either as the dryland or as emptiness. The void or emptiness in the waters also meant dryness or thirstiness, even inside the waters. Yes, even waters do get thirsty and dry, when the waters are empty of (or useless to) living creatures. Yes, there were waters called dead sea, not because they had no waters in them but because those for whom their waters were meant to fill and be filled were dead.

"And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good." [AKJV]
 

So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. [NKJV]

Commentaries:

In the true vision of God's creativity, neither the waters nor winds would willingly veil the differences and varieties in lives, in beauties, in shapes, in sizes, in greatness, in strength, in abilities, in messages, in significances, in signs, in stories, in kindness, in goodness, in wisdom and in grace. The waters and the winds revealed those differences, distinctions and excellence, and not veiled them to those who are given the eyes to see them as God saw them. There are uncharted pleasures in seeing, beholding and appreciating the goodness in them as God saw it in them, for God was pleased with what He saw when He saw it was good, which also means it was in harmony. These are parts of the libraries of God's Creative Wisdom mirrored in the waters, in the atmosphere and in His Creations. Many shall find pleasures in these treasures.

Bible Teacher:

Let's find solace in this gospel of the creation of great whales, varieties of living creatures in the waters, and varieties of birds with wings; for God saw that it was good. If God saw it was good, then it was gospel (good news) in the Sight of God then and now to us.
 

Behold the three basic fundamental rights given to them at their creation:
 

№ 1 — The right and freedom to live as living creatures in their Habitations: They were the first set of lives or living creatures on earth and they were not  taken from the ground nor bound to the ground. Not every living creature today has right to live inside or through water, neither is every living creature of the water given right to live without or outside water.
 

№ 2 — The right and freedom to take after their kinds: There was no pattern, shape, figure or likeness, that was a law of conformity to them. Every specie took after its kind or after its differences without apology.
 

№ 1 — The right and freedom to move and have movements: And they were also the first set living creatures that were given the Fundamental rights of movement and freedom in the world, because they were created free Creatures and servants to no one.

Commentaries:

God created every living thing that moves, with which the waters teemed and the atmosphere vibrated. They were living creatures that move, but not necessarily living creatures that walk. Their movements were neither dependent on the ground nor dependent on their feet (legs) if they have them. Rather they have their movements and advancements by their wings, tails and gliding bodies, crossing through their habitations. The movements of those living creatures make the waters and the atmosphere feel more filled or fulfilled than the numbers of those living creatures inside them. "A Moving Thing is better than many things." Where their numbers stop, their movements make up for the filling and pleasuring of the waters and air, inside which they inhabit. Movements are signs of life.

Bible Teacher:

It's the second time the words "Create" or "God Created" were used in the same Chapter of "Genesis 1." Actually there were altogether three times they were used in "Genesis 1:" 

1. — Used in God created the heavens and the earth; 
2. — Used in God created the sea creatures/birds; and, 
3. — Used in God created man in His own Image.
    

However, it was the only time in that chapter that "God created" was neither enough nor used alone, but needed "Collaboration" with a Helper or "Co-Creator/Procreator" — The Waters. So God created these Living Creatures, but the Waters were the ones that brought them forth or that begot them as in childbearing.
 

In the Bible verse above, God created the living creatures and the waters brought forth those living creatures after God created them. It's like giving credits to scientists or people who discovered and brought forth technologies, inventions, secrets, innovations and helpful things, from their hidden or undiscovered states after they were created/made by God. Such people are called Founders, Authors, Initiators or Begetters, of those new things or innovations they brought forth. So the waters (seas) were founders, authors, beggeters, of those living creatures which God created to have life and movements both in the waters and in the open heaven: for the waters brought them forth into manifestation out of invisibility or obscurity, and established them into being according to their kinds without compromising their uniqueness, differences, varieties, and abundance.

Commentaries:

As the waters had more hidden things to discover and to bring forth to life from where God already created those things and ordained for only the waters to discover and procreate them, even so everyone of us have many hidden things to discover and to bring forth to life on time from where God already created or made those things. He ordained/assigned for each of us to specially have the grace to discover and bring forth those things into life. The seas did not fail in that calling, neither should we. We are God's Collaborators in the Lord Jesus Christ.

And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” [NKJV]

It's the first appearance of the word, "Blessed" in Genesis, and it involved God blessing the living creatures of the marine world. When God blessed them, He spoke a Word of God that empowered them to be fruitful and to multiply until they fill their habitations.
 

"Blessed them" was used rather than "Numbered them." Both are related, except that numbering them would mean summing (counting) their numbers while blessing them meant multiplying their numbers. These living creatures became blessed by God with procreation or reproduction of themselves, to increase and multiply themselves above the numbers at which the waters brought them at first. They were blessed to buildup and upgrade their numbers and their multiplication among themselves, and now the book of their population statistics must be updated daily.
 

Also the blessing of God upon them turned their assignment into blessings to them. The more they fulfilled their purpose (assignments) to their habitations, the more they were blessed and enlarged to do more than they did previously. But basically even their blessing came to serve their purpose.
 

God's blessing however gave a different habitation to the birds, and made the earth their habitation. Blessing can be locational and regional to some particular places or realms: and in such cases, one just have to access the blessings through abiding in such places or realms where the blessings are kept for such person. Even so, the birds had habitation on earth in agreement with their blessing and they were blessed to multiply on the earth and to fly above the earth. They may both move with their legs and with their wings. They may walk, run and fly, and some of them may float on the waters or may swim briefly in the waters. Basically, the blessing of God on them increase the abilities and capacities in their bodies. The more blessed of God you are, the more abilities and capabilities your body will have to be and do things by the blessings, which some other bodies cannot do.

Theme:

FIFTH DAY – DEBUTED LIVING CREATURES UNDER HEAVEN
 

In the fifth day, many things came to become living creatures in the physical realms, and they became established in the fifth day. The fifth day was not just another day for evening and morning to be numbered, but also the first day lives and living things out numbered numbering in abundance and multiplied in the first blessing pronounced under the Heaven. It was a day that things not only began to live and have life under the heavens, but also the day those things began to move and to fly even from the waters below the Firmament in ascending the Firmament of Heaven upwards from the depth below where the Firmament left the waters below it, and to be fruitful, and to multiply; and to fill and fulfill rooms, in the waters, in the atmosphere, in beauty, in colors, in elegance, in shapes, in sizes, in varieties, in styles and significances, etc., under and within the heavens.
 

Infact, it was in the fifth day that all the waters created by God moved from being a completely useless deep and void under the cover of darkness into being a completely useful habitation and warehouses for the living treasures (creatures) of the seas.
 

These markers for progress were clearly represented in the fifth day, and they include:

• Things became alive and kept living
• Things moved and kept moving
• Things flied and kept flying
• Things sailed and kept sailing
• Things were fruitful and kept multiplying
• Things multiplied and kept increasing.

Hence, in the fifth day came the living treasures of the seas.
 

It was not just creation God made on the fifth day but living creatures. In the fifth day,

• The Creations began seeing another dimension of life and living,
• The Creations began seeing another dimension of movements,
• The Creations began seeing another dimension of physical flying,
• The Creations began seeing a form of changing by multiplication,
• The Creations began seeing moving things able to reproduce fruit, and
• The Creations began seeing different bodies for different worlds: such as different bodies for the Aquatic world, and the terrestrial world, different from the bodies of the celestial world.
   

By God's making, the worlds under the heavens could support lives as a planet for living. Living creatures could exist and survive on earth and in the waters within and below the atmosphere of the firmament of heaven. The creations did not know things could live and breathe inside the waters until it was unveiled by God in the fifth day. Yes, there is life everywhere God dwells; but unless God gives someone a body or ability to access and live through the life in any place, such a one may not live in that place no matter the presence of life there.

"And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so." [AKJV]
 

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so.” [NKJV]

In the Bible verse above, the Word of God began to work with and through the earth in bringing forth, discovering and sustaining, all kinds of living creatures that could only be discovered and manifested through the earth as the sole source of access to them.
 

This Word of God also empowered the earth to become a Founder, an Author, an Initiator or a Begetter, of those new living things or living innovations they brought forth. As the waters (seas) were, so was the earth also the founder, author, beggeter, of those living creatures God created to have life and movements on and through the earth. For the earth brought them forth to manifestation out of invisibility or obscurity, and established them into being according to their kinds without compromising their uniqueness, differences, varieties, and abundance.
 

Mankind discovered and founded many great things in the earth, but before they began doing so the earth herself had been a great inventor, technologist and procreator, of living systems, living mechanisms or living sophisticated machines through nature, science and supernatural doctrine of God. Nature itself teaches and gives experiences, discoveries (knowledge) and applied wisdom to mankind and to creatures (1 Corinthians 11:14).
 

God spoke the Word that both permitted and persuaded the earth to bring forth living Creatures of different kinds, cattle, creepers or crawlers and beasts, of various kinds out of the earth. Those living creatures were to be born of the earth and to be part of the earth as their source and habitation; but all things trust and obey the Voice of God's Word irrespective of their sources and habitations. And therefore, the earth began to support both life and living on the earth and under heaven.

Commentaries:

Being a beast of the Earth was fulfilling God's Word here, but being wicked never fulfilled God's word. The Word of God made the earth to understand differences as kindness and varieties as flavoring spice of life among living creatures. The same Word of God would make your heart and mind see differences in the body of Christ as various kinds of goodness and oneness, not as competition or threat. We must respect and embrace our differences that fulfill the Will of God.

Bible Teacher:

When God said this Word, it became so: for the earth indeed brought forth the living creatures according to their various kinds under three groups/Categories: 
 

• 1. Group of Cattle - [Living Creatures whose mouth or teeth were not meant for fighting or killing: Hence, Behemah]

• 2. Group of Beasts - [Living Creatures whose mouth, teeth, tongues/spittle, Stings or Claws, were meant for fighting or killing]
   
• 3. Group of Creepers/Crawlers - [Special Living Creatures both among Cattle and Beasts that crawls or creeps when traveling because they must always keep both their heads and stomach very close to the ground while moving, and if they sleep they must lie down on their stomach side to the ground/wall bearing them — mostly showing the world their back sides while hiding/protecting their stomach side]
   

However, this Word of God did not make the earth bring forth "Mankind;" for no living creature took after mankind as its kind. Mankind was not a "Kind" or "Category" known to the earth by then, and so no living creature came into being in the kindness or likeness of a man, though some apes came closest in resemblance to Mankind.
 

By default, Mankind is an "Upright Being," (not bent over creature), able to stand and walk uprightly like Joseph's Shelf in his first Bible dream, while earthly living creatures were basically like the sheaves of Joseph's brothers bowing down in motion compared to Joseph's Shelf. Moreover, Mankind is not just a living creature, but a Living Soul.
 

Therefore, neither the earth nor the waters of the seas could bringforth the living creature called "Man" after whatever kind or likeness the earth or sea was able to architect or fathom. The information for the formation of "Man-Kind" was not in the earth or waters, but was in the Godhead. Therefore in all the living creatures the earth (or sea) could bringforth, it could never have brought forth man, unless God took the man out from the ground by Himself.

God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that crawls upon the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. [BSB]

Bible Teacher:
 

God made various "Beasts" and yet God saw that was good in His Sight: same with making various "Cattle" and "Creeping Living Things" was not evil but good in God's sight. If I make or turn someone into a living beast, into a living cattle or into a living creeping thing, I have not done evil in the Sight of God but have done good in the Sight of God, provided it's according to Earth's kindness and not against nature.
 

Becoming a "Beast, Cattle or Creeper" on earth is still after or according to a kindness of the earth. This means it's not evil, but good, in God's Sight. Anything that follows earthly kindness or according to one's kind on earth, is "Good."
 

God made many living creatures to be beasts, but God made no living creature to be wicked. To be a beast was after its kind (kindness), but no wicked in nature is kind (kindness).
 

You may become like beasts, become creepy like creeping things, become domestic like cattle, become fearful, become dreadful or command fear/respect by your presence as a beast, but don't be wicked or evil in God's Sight. They were all called to be "ways different" and "semblance different" but all together be good in the sight of God in varieties of kinds. Therefore, there are various kinds of being good in the sight of God.

Commentaries:
 

Being and looking very different is still after its kind, but being unkind to those very different is not being kind but being wicked and evil. Let there be various kinds of good and being good, not various kinds of evil or being wicked.
 

In the true vision of God's making, neither the nature of beasts nor the nature of sheep would veil the kindness and goodness of the living creatures of the earth; but would rather revealed their kindness and goodness, and not veiled them to those who are given the eyes to see them as God saw them.
 

God made the various kinds of living creatures to reflect the various kinds of being good in God's Eyes, and He found pleasure in seeing it. There are uncharted pleasures in seeing the goodness in them as God saw it in them, for God was pleased with what He saw when He saw it was good. These are parts of the libraries of God's Wisdom seen on the foundation of the earth.

Bible Teacher:
 

God made it so that Mankind should not hate those different from them. You must not be Racist or Tribalistic, for Bigotry is unkind and wicked in the Sight of God who made living creatures and Mankind in various kinds of differences.
 

Whoever hates one single man is already a murderer of that man he hates, but whoever hates any tribe, gender, race or specie, of mankind or living creatures is a murderer of millions of people or Creatures under that tribe, gender, race or specie, he/she hates. Such a person shall never enter the kingdom of God nor have eternal life in him or her.

Commentaries:
 

God made these Living Creatures very different from one another, but made them all of the earth to dwell on earth. There was harmony and unity in diversity on earth, not uniformity.
 

"Uniformity" is a little mind's idea of unity, but "Harmony" is a spiritual and mature mind's view of true Unity. Uniformity theory of unity insist that things/people must look the same, speak the same, act the same or appear the same, before they are at peace and love with themselves. But Harmony is the peace, perfection, compaction, and love, between (among) things or people in their differences or varieties.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” [NKJV]
 

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it.” [BSB]

Bible Teacher:

When God first said this Word to make man in God's Image, the projected pronouns of the Word pluralized God as "Company" and not just as "Individual." This implied the Word was not a monologue but a Dialogue of "God with God." And, "God with God" is a "Council of God" also known as "Godhead."
 

In the Beginning, the Word was with God and the Word was God (John 1:1-2): there was "God with God." And the Father, the Word and the Spirit, are One in the Godhead [1 John 5:7].
 

Therefore being a Word to the Council of God, this Word was not a Command but a Counsel. You may say like "Psalms 148:5" said, "God Commanded, and all things were created;" but do not include "Man" among all things created by God's Command. It was not by commanding anything that God created man; Mankind are the only Creatures of God that were not products of God's creative Command, because they are offspring of Godhead or God-Council. Sadly, Mankind kept breaking God's Commandment.
 

[Acts 17:28-29] — "For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring. For as much then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like to gold, or silver, or stone, graven by are and man's device."

Commentaries:

What God wanted in exchange, for the dominion He was letting Mankind have over all the earth, included to have Mankind in God's Image, after God's Likeness. The first kindness in every living creature was the kindness of resemblance, taking after the likeness of someone or group in image or nature. Taking after God's Resemblance in God's Image was the first virtue in Mankind that qualified them to have dominion over every earthly thing that had been before them, even though Mankind was like the last born in God's creation then.

Bible Teacher:

There's a whole Family inside God that would make man in their Image, after the Likeness of the Divine Family of God. God communicated His First Love for man in His first quest for Him to make man in God's Image, and according to God's Likeness and Kindness. Mankind would only become a part of that Union/Family of those having the true Image and Likeness of God, but man is neither the first nor the only one to possess the Image and Likeness of God.

Commentaries:

Some have said that the Devil or Serpent collected the Dominion from Mankind after they sinned. But that's not possible because that would mean the Devil or Serpent became an image of God. To have that Dominion over all the Works of God's hand, one must first be made or transformed in the Image of God and after His Likeness. Unless the devil is in God's Image, the devil cannot have or wield this Dominion over all the Works of God's Hands in earth.
 

The call to man's dominion is as sure as the quest for man to fulfill God's Image and Likeness. But to have dominion, God ordained greater things for man to conquer or subdue in battles through the dominion.
 

Remain in the communication with the Family or Union of God, to gain more of the Likeness of God. Do not be in God's Image without having God's Likeness and Holiness.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. [NKJV]

Bible Teacher:

The reason you see the word "Created" used three times in this Bible verse is because there were three distinct times God created or recreated man in this Bible verse, and yet there's one more recreation of man happening in the Lord Jesus Christ. Viz:
 

 ° 1. God created man in His own Image — Meaning, Man was first created in "the Image God Possesses." This creation of man made the man to be  just a reflection, but not an offspring, of God. Then God recreated man again in stage two:
 

° 2. In the Image God [God with God] He created him — Meaning, Man was created in "the Image of One that came of God, or the Image that God had Begotten, or the Image of an Offspring of God." Hence, Adam became a son of God or man became God's Offspring. This second level of creating or recreating Man made the man become offspring of God, but the Man was alone and could not multiply being alone. Then God recreated man again in stage three:
 

° 3. Male and Female He created them — Meaning, God made the man fall into deep sleep, and made the rib bone He took from the man into a Woman. The enabled two in one and enabled multiplication abilities in "Joining" called "Marriage."
 

[Matthew 19:4-6] — "Jesus answered, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”"
 

° 4. New Birth or New Creation in Christ Jesus: Adam alone was in the Image of God when he was created or born as a son of God (Hence had that first Dominion). But by the time he begot a son, Adam already lost being in the Image of God, and that son or children were in the image of Adam [Genesis 5:1-3]. Jesus Christ the Second Adam came, being more Authentic Image and Person of God. We who bore the image of first Adam must bear the Image of the Second Adam Jesus Christ in order to become true Sons/Daughters of God again, which is the essence of the New Birth or New Creation or Recreation of mankind.

Commentaries:

In God's Image, He created just "him;" but in gender, He created "them," male and female. You will not find "men" or "them" in God's Image: you will only find "Man" in God's Image. Only one man can be in God's Image, not plural men or humans. Adam alone was made in God's Image, not all humans; but all humans were born or made in the image and glory of Adam [Genesis 5:1-3]. Yet other men had God's Likeness or Similitude through Adam.
 

However, God took on the likeness and fashion of Man, and came down to Mankind as a Son of man, Jesus Christ, the Second Adam from heaven. Jesus Christ is the direct express Image of God from heaven, having the very Nature of God; and He is the Word of God that became flesh, and dwelt among us, as the Son of God.
 

Mankind may now switch from the image and likeness of the fallen Adam into the perfect Image and Likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the true and incorruptible Image and Revelation of the Invisible God. Join the Lord in restoring mankind into the perfect Image of God in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bible Teacher:

God was both creating man in His own Image and He was also creating man in the Image of God. Meaning God made sure He saw man having His Image, but God also made sure other living creatures and beings as well could also see man having the Image of God with their lower eyes too. He did that as God for Himself, but He also did that to meet God's required standard for doing that. To God, it was worth doing, but it was also worth doing well.
 

God created man in God's Image, but it was in response to God's Word in the Union, not in response to the necessity of God's Image. It's not God's Image that told God to create man in God's Image; rather God's Word told God to create man in God's Image. Therefore, God was not just fulfilling God's Image, but much more fulfilling God's Word in God's Image.
 

Mankind was not made in God's Image to fulfill God's Image; rather Mankind was created in God's Image to fulfill God's Will. You must not regard God's Image above God's word; but neither should you disregard God's Image either. Also do not make God's Image by your own hand (idolatry); but just keep and remain in God's Image (godliness).

Commentaries:

Only God qualifies to make God's Image; and no man must make God's Image. However, man is qualified to become and to have even that which man is not qualified to make. Therefore the man was to have dominion over the works of God's Hands [Psalms 8:6].
 

God knew Himself and He knows how He looks like, without needing a mirror, which was the reason God could reproduce His resemblance or Image in one of His Creatures. God is the greatest Artist. He conveniently designed His own face and features without looking at photograph or sample. Thus, God was not just producing the man but God was also reproducing the man. He was not just making man but He was also birthing man. However, God now redeems and restores His Mankind into God's image and Likeness inside Jesus Christ the Lord.

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” [Genesis 1:28 NKJV]

Notice, God was blessing them and yet speaking to them. It did not say God blessed them and gave to them; rather it said God blessed them and said to them, "Be…" This inspires me to call these blessings of God "Motivational Speech or Charge" for them to become more than God created them here. Being in the image of God, and being male and female, were what God created them to be. But by these blessings, God motivated and empowered them to become more than where God's creating left them.

Bible Teacher:

This act of God blessing them here shows there were things yet lacking in them and to them after God created them. For if they were made perfect with all sufficiency, lacking in nothing, there would not have been any need or room for these blessings pronounced upon them here. Therefore, these blessings were "Make-ups" to the "Making of Mankind" by God.
 

As a woman used make-up to upgrade her appearance or beauty, so had God given Mankind these blessings as Make-ups to help upgrade and complement for those things that were lacking in the way and state which God created them in the beginning.

Commentaries:

These Blessings of God to them in here were more of God motivating them to work, than God giving them gifts. Even the Dominion God told them to have was more of motivation to work than making all things subject to them. We have seen God say to man, have dominion over all things on earth, but we have not seen God brought all things under man according to "Hebrews 2:8."
 

Here, God blessed them means God's way of shifting and sharing the Works yet to be done with them. He did not want to do all the Works for mankind alone, and He shared the responsibilities with them so that God and mankind would be working together for the completion of mankind and for working the earth/ground with them. Hence God blessed them means God shared the duties and joy of participation with them to help themselves as God does.

Bible Teacher:

Marriage was supposed to be the very first blessing of God to man, because the man was lacking in being alone: and it was not good for the man to be alone. 
 

God made the woman for the man, and therefore worked the marriage for him without his participating. But God wanted them to participate in the others, so God blessed them to participate in "Being Fruitful, Multiplying, filling the earth, subduing the earth, and having dominion over living creatures in earth."
 

With the blessings came responsibilities, and with every authority of God to man comes responsibility required from the man. These Blessings did not increase man's rest, but increased man's works and assignments they were yet to accomplish. However, the rewards and joy of participation and accomplishments, is worth much with eternal pleasures.

Commentaries:

The reason the angels were not given these Blessings that God gave or said to Mankind in here is because God did the Works for them by creating them in their multiplied numbers, and so they did not need to be fruitful and multiply and to fill their Habitations by their own works. Neither were the angels needing marriage as Mankind needed because the angels cannot die as man could die or perish. They were created immortal, created already in completed innumerable numbers, and by default have their own superior dominion, powers and authorities, already inbuilt in their creation so that they are not burdened with trying to subdue or overpower things or Creatures already created stronger than them.
 

But you see God created Mankind few, but blessed or charged them to be fruitful and multiply and fill the vast earth and subdue the earth where they were taken from, even the earth that had been and bears them. God created Mankind with lower strength compared to many giant and stronger beasts, and yet blessed and charged Mankind to have dominion over all of them including the great and bigger beasts, cattle, whales and mightier Creatures than them.
 

Therefore, these blessings are basically motivation for them to work and overcome much to accomplish much. As God would send His people to possess the promisedland, and yet allowed the giants and soldiers there for His people to face and conquer in war and battle before possessing the promise. You may not read where God sent lesser angel to fight or struggle with higher or stronger angel than him, even with Satan. But you will always see God charging a weak man to do battle with Satan, stronger demons or greater animals in strength, even without the man seeing but by faith in God; and God will be with him to give grace.

And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. [Genesis 1:29 NKJV]
 

Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit contains seed. They will be yours for food. [BSB]

This was the first time God revealed Himself to Mankind in the Bible, using first Person single pronoun, "I" or "I Am." God began to use "I" to pronounce or announce Himself, when God began to feed Mankind in the Bible. According to this Bible verse above, God said, "See, I have…" or "Behold, I have…" God structured this sentence for the people to first see "I" (God) and then see what "I have" (what God has/had), before seeing "I have given you" (what God Himself had first but gave to us humans). It's important for us to see "I have" (God has) them first, before seeing "I have given you" (God had but gave them to us). Man was created in the Image of God, after His Likeness: and therefore, it's important for the man to see God having what God gives the man; and important for the man not having what God Himself neither has to Himself nor gave to man.

Bible Teacher:

This act of God introducing the use of "I am" or "I have" while communicating food to His Offspring here is reflected in the way a Hen introduced food to her chicks.
 

*. As God had to "I have" the new Foodstuff first before giving them to Mankind, so did the Hen "I had" new seeds/food by picking them up and making special communication to the chicks and then dropping (giving) them on the ground to the chicks to pick and eat. That is, the chicks had to see her picking the new food with her mouth as if she herself would eat the food but she would not swallow the food because she wants to give them what she already had with her own mouth or tasted before; just as a cupbearer gives to a King the wine he has already tasted and ascertained as good and safe for consumption.
 

The Lord is my Shepherd also means when He makes me lie down in green pastures, I should not begin eating the green pastures, but wait and follow Him until He sets a table before me in the presence of my enemies and He gives me the sign to eat from His Table and cup, not from the green pastures or still waters. (Psalms 23).
 

I say this because He said, "My Sheep hear and follow My Voice, not the voice of strangers nor the appetite for any food they see around." I have seen cows ignored following its pastor because it saw some enticing grasses/food at the other corner and went for them, without the pastor leading the cow there. Many cattle fell into traps of predators by following enticements of food without heeding the voices or signs of warning and reasoning. But behold the chicks in the first week do not preempt their mother hen to go for food or eat anything they see another animal eating, unless they saw their mother willing to eat and give to them as sign.

Commentaries:

In this Bible Text, the Herbs God gave to Mankind were found all over the surface of the earth in any part of the earth, even including places no man was or has been to were those herbs available. But the fruit trees were basically restricted to the Garden, to few vineyards and few selected places. If Mankind lose the Garden of Eden, he would lose the fruit trees and have to till the ground to eat; but there will still be herbs outside the Garden and virtually everywhere for mankind.
 

The Herbs (Vegetables) are for healings, nutrients and services, of mankind; but the fruit trees are for food proper for strength:
 

[Psalms 104:14-15] — "He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that the man may bring forth food out of the earth; And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart."

Bible Teacher:

In the New Heaven and Earth where all places are Paradise, there would still be need for vegetable/herb, which are basically the leaves of the Tree of Life, for healing of the nations and people even when there shall be neither sickness nor disease [Revelation 22:2]. When God gave Mankind these herbs yielding seeds, there was no curse nor sickness, but yet there were needs for the herbs, medicine or healings, of the herbs in the world where all things were very good.
 

Mankind did not transgress by eating any herb on earth or in paradise, but mankind transgressed by eating from a forbidden Tree that had fruits that do not meet up with this criterion described by God above: Viz: "Fruits yielding seeds." The forbidden fruit was not a fruit yielding seed, but was a fruit yielding sin and death.

Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. [NKJV]
 

And to every beast of the earth and every bird of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth —everything that has the breath of life in it—I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. [BSB]

This was the last outloud spoken speech God made in the first Chapter of Genesis Book; and it was so. "It was so" usually came before "It was good," because "God said" usually came before "God made." Immediately God said it, it was so; then after God made it, God would see it was good.
 

Now behold the last God said in this chapter and therefore the final "It was So" in this phase.

Bible Teacher:

In the Bible verse above, God still used "I have" or "I Am He who has" given every "Green" herbs or plant vegetables to be food to every Beast of the earth, every bird of the air, and every creeping thing on earth, that already had the breath of life in it. There are two basic features about this feasting God gave all earth animals:
 

*1" Green — The food God gave to all living creatures on earth came with the first color ever mentioned in the Bible — Green. You may find a living creature of earth that is colorblind to another color, but none is blind to the color "Green," which was the color of the first food God gave to their ancestors in the beginning.
 

*2" The Table was "Incompa-tible" but also "adap-table" — The food God gave to all living creatures on earth incompatible to the groups of living creatures God mentioned. Notice that the "Cattle-Group" was not mentioned in the Bible verse above, though they are the group of living creatures that were compatible with dentistry and digestive system that naturally feed on herbs or plant vegetables. Instead, the Beasts, the Birds, the Creeping Things, that do not have the natural compatibility with eating leaves or herbs due to their teeth or beak or sting, were those mentioned.
 

This is to show that "It was so" did not mean they matched in compatible with dentistry or digestion system of those listed animals. Rather "It was so" meant it matched what God said or commanded. Whatever God told them was food was what became food to them, irrespective of what their biological designs stipulated. This meant God fed them with what their biological designs did not know or what was strange to the carnivores beasts and birds of prey, to show them that it was so means it matches the Word of God, not it matches designs. As it is written,
 

[Deuteronomy 8:3] — He made you go hungry, and then He gave you manna to eat, food that was unknown or strange to you and your ancestors before. He did this to teach you that you must not depend on bread alone to sustain you, but on everything that the Lord says.
 

I tell you, If God says to any living creature that it's own dung is food, though that's strange to its biological designs yet it shall become so because the Word of God say so. Remember, the same Word of God declared Dust to be food to the Serpent, and it was so.

Commentaries:

God still used the personal pronoun, "I" or "I Am" to give food to all the living organisms on the earth. This implied God took the credit of being He who feeds them, even when Mankind dominated them. Your heavenly Father feeds them [Matthew 6:26]. God gave Mankind dominion over them, but God dealt with them directly when He fed them. He did not employ Man as middle man, mediator or agent, to feed the living creatures; though He employed man to give names to them. This is like a pastor and master of the house who, though he has servants in the house, chose to feed his flock himself so that his flock know him and he knows them.
 

[Psalm 145:15‭-‬16 GNT] — All living things look hopefully to you, and you give them food when they need it. You give them enough and satisfy the needs of all.
 

[Job 38:39‭-‬41 NKJV] — “Can you hunt the prey for the lion, Or satisfy the appetite of the young lions, When they crouch in their dens, Or lurk in their lairs to lie in wait? Who provides food for the raven, When its young ones cry to God, And wander about for lack of food?
 

He did not give them life without giving them food, though life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing [Matthew 6:25-26].

Bible Teacher:

God gave the beasts/carnivores the same food He gave to the herbivores and birds and fishes in the seas from the sea soils. All living creatures fed on green herbs. The beasts and carnivores shall be restored back to feeding on vegetable foods and fruits, away from bloody or red meat, when the Lord restores the earth [Isaiah 11:6-7, 65:25]. Amen.

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. [NKJV]
 

And God looked upon all that He had made, and indeed, it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day. [BSB]

Bible Teacher:

God saw everything He made, and He still sees everything that is made; for nothing is hidden from His Eyes. You cannot separate whatever is made from God's seeing Eyes. 'God made it" also means "God sees it." No Creature is hidden from God's Sight, but all things are naked and laid open before God's Eyes, and to Him we all must give account [Hebrews 4:13]. The Father sees in secret and rewards openly.

Commentaries:

The sixth day was the day God spoke His Word more than He had spoken before in the first week of Creation, which He made. The reason was because God began to commune with Mankind, and His Word delights to dwell with Mankind.

Bible Teacher:

God saw everything He made was very good, and it was the sixth day. These four facts were true about everything in the sixth day:
 

*1* Everything that existed in the Sixth Day was truly "God Made," and nothing was "Man-made," including Mankind themselves.
 

*2* Everything God made by the sixth day was very good.
 

*3* The kingdom of Mankind was established over all the earth and seas in the same sixth day Mankind was created. Then everything went from being good to being very good when God beheld and saw it that very day.
 

*4* All works done were Good works by the sixth day. No work was evil work, and no work failed by the sixth day.
 

Let your works improve from good to very good and very acceptable in the sight of God. Amen.
