Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. [Genesis 2:1 NKJV]
The creation of the heavens, the earth, and everything in them was complete. [FBV]
Bible Teacher:
When God saw everything He made was very good in the sixth day, was when the Heavens, the Earth, and all their hosts, were finished or completed. "Everything is Very Good" meant "All things are finished." The reason is because all things would not be complete if something or some things in them are lacking or unmade. We all must come together to the completion or perfection, for all things to be fulfilled or completed. This was in God's View.
For He was not just working "Redemption" but basically working "Creation;" neither was He in the act of "Selection" but was in act of "Collation." It was a Collative Creation God wrought in the beginning, not a selective creation. Hence, God made "All Things," and not just "Some Things."
Commentaries:
Understand the difference between "God Created them" and "God Made them" — It was in the beginning that Created the heavens and the earth, but it was in six days that God made the heavens and the earth.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth according to "Genesis 1:1." But in six days God made the heavens and the earth, and the host of them according to "Exodus 20:11."
Creating all things was just the beginning and step to making all things in the first and largest "Project," but which was completed or finished in six days or less than a week.
The creation that was without form but void, when God began to create it in the beginning, has now attained full completion, well finished and very good, having inhabitants or Hosts already occupying and utilizing the facilities in the project.
Therefore, this completion was a "Tested Completion," because there were hosts in them or users/occupants in them already using the facilities; and all facilities were fully functional and working: — God saw everything was very good, before He declared "It is finished."
There were man-made projects mankind declared finished or completed, and even ceremonially commissed into operations and uses, before those projects began hosting people or users in them. And then those people, tenants or users, later found some things not working well or found errors in those so called completed projects that were already declared finished or completed. These happened because they were not tested or test-ran for those they were meant for when they were made, before they were finished, published or celebrated as completed.
Such were the man-made finished projects/products that are having "Forms" but yet "Void." Having Forms but Void (Empty) means 'complete' but not tested or occupied by inhabitants, users, occupants, tenants or people. In the beginning, the earth was both formless and void: — But God used the first three days to fix the formlessness of the Project, making the Project (Heaven and Earth) fully formed in three days: And then God used the next three days in fixing the Void or emptiness of the Project, making the Project (Heaven, Earth and Seas) filled with hosts, occupants, users or inhabitants. — And God was watching as all the facilities were fully functional and working for those users or inhabitants therein, and made necessary adjustment. Then on the sixth day, God saw everything He made, and behold everything was very good.
Therefore, the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. [Genesis 2:1]
Understand this about God: He does not just release or publish what He Himself has not tested, verified or witnessed. The Lord Jesus Christ taught what He Himself already began to do or practice. The Lord is not just a Creator or Maker, but also a "Partaker and User-friendly." He checks the Workability and User-friendliness of His Products, Projects or Preachings, before Publication.
Be like Him. Do not just produce things and market/publish them without reviewing, testing or tasting, as the end-user what it is like to use or receive what you yourself is releasing out to others. And you the writer of these Commentaries; begin to review your writings carefully before you publish to avoid errors, and don't tell people to do what you yourself are not doing or not intending to doing. It's not just about speed, but also about accuracy, forming excellence. Behold the "Speed, Accuracy and Excellence" in God completing the entire Heavens, Earth and their Hosts, in six days.
And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. [Genesis 2:2 NKJV]
And by the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested (ceased) on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. [Genesis 2:2 AMP]
The first Person to ever be set free in the Beginning was God Himself setting Himself free from all His Works. This Freedom from His Works is called "Rest." Behold the burden was not just lifted off Him for the burden ended, and He ceased from being provoked into further activities.
Rest was the first freedom to He who was bound to work immediately by His Word. At that stage, there was no Word of God that God had not worked hard to fulfill. Everything God had said that provoked or bound God to work what He said, was fully completed and fulfilled.
Therefore God ended His Works on the Seventh Day by not making or leaving any further statement (Word or Promise) that would mean "Carryover" or "Leftover" of Work yet undone. For every Word of God to the creation was fully worked and fulfilled by the Seventh Day (Saturday). And God would not begin the Seventh Day by speaking what to do as in other days before; rather God was silently resting in quietude on the Seventh Day.
In the Seventh Day — "And It was so" fully balanced "And God said." There was nothing that God said that was not made "It was so." Remember, without the Word, nothing made was made. As it is written,
[John 1:3] — All things were made and came into existence through Him (the Word); and without the Word not even one thing was made that has come into being.
There was only one thing that God did from creation works without the Word or God saying it first — That was "God Resting on the Seventh Day." God did not speak it before God did rest, but nevertheless God blessed the Seventh Day and mandated Rest by His Word when He rested.
It was His Work that God ended on the Seventh Day, not His Word. The burden of God having to work or to do instantly as soon as God spoke or gave His Word was relaxed and rested. Then God could now work from rest, and there could be days, years or decades, of intervals between when God first said it and when it was so as in when God did the Works He said.
The Rest in which God could go on Speaking His Word without being bound to instantly do as He said immediately, is the Reign of "Faith." Faith stood in for Work to instantly follow the Word of God as God rested. God said it, and "It was not yet so by Work" but "It was so by Faith."
[Hebrews 4:1-11 BSB] — Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it. For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it. Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said: “So I swore on oath in My anger, ‘They shall never enter My rest.’” And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world. For somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this manner: “And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.” And again, as He says in the passage above: “They shall never enter My rest.” Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their disobedience, God again designated a certain day as “Today,” when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.
Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. [Genesis 2:3 NKJV]
God blessed the seventh day and made it a holy day. He made it holy because on that day he rested. He rested from all the work he had done in creating the world. [Genesis 2:3 ICB]
God blessed the Seventh Day with "Sanctification" and not just with the usual "Fruitfulness" or "Multiplication." Living Creatures He made were used to being blessed with Fruitfulness, Multiplication or Increase. But behold a new "Substance of Blessing" that is neither "Quantity-Based" nor "Number-Based;" But "Sanctification or Holiness Based."
If you have sanctification, holiness, virginity or purity, you are already blessed even if you are not fruitful. As it is written,
[Matthew 5:8 NKJV] — Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
If the blessing of God you have is like "Be fruitful, multiply, replenish, increase, prosper, etc," that is "Quantity-Based" — You are only blessed with a "Pre-Death Blessing" that shall end in your death.
But if the blessing of God you have is like "Holy, Sanctified, Hallowed, Pure, Undefiled, Clear as Crystal, Blameless etc," that is "Purification-Based" — You are blessed with a "Post-Death Blessing" that shall endure after your death and resurrection.
To be blessed beyond death is to be Holy. All those who are holy are blessed, and they are those having part in the first Resurrection that's far greater than the Second Death. As it is written,
[Revelation 20:6] — "Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."
God blessed the Seventh Day and sanctified that Day, which meant God made that Day, "Holy." By making that Day Holy, other days were automatically below the Holiness and Level of that Seventh Day.
This includes that even the Working of God that's glorious and awesome in other days become unholy or transgression in the Holy Day. Creating, making or working, any thing in any other day would be gloriously celebrated, but doing so in the Hallowed Sabbath Day would be unholy, defiling or evil works. For the sanctification holiness on that Day became the first forbidding anything. Aside God forbidding the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil, the Blessing and Sanctification of God on the Seventh Day were forbidding Working or labor for the sake of Resting on that Day.
[Exodus 20:8-11] — “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
Those who understand and hold the mechanism of Holiness would have extra things they see as sin or unclean, which does not make sense to those who only hold righteousness. The Holy ones that uphold their holiness and purity would know the difference between "Holiness" and "Righteousness" — They will understand that not everything that is righteous is holy.
There are things that are done in Righteousness, but they are not done in Holiness. For example, "Doing Good-Works every day is doing Righteousness, but Doing Good-Works in the Holy or Seventh Day sanctified for Rest is against Holiness." It's not whether what's is being done is right or wrong, but whether it's holy (pure) or unholy (defiling).
Follow your consecration or Holiness Code if God has sanctified you; and do not live like other righteous Christians or people of God. Remember the mistake the Young Man of God from Judah made in relating with the older prophet or men of God in Samaria.
God blessed the Seventh Day with Sanctification as Reward to that Day, for the rest that Day gave to God. Other Days had God Working and Laboring in them, but the Seventh Day had God Resting and Refreshing in It.
Blessed are those who give God Rest, Refreshments, and Pleasures, from all His Works — Sanctification and Holiness shall be added to them in God's Reward to them.
Nevertheless, not everything God sanctified became Holy; some became good or pure after God sanctified them, but few obtained Holiness by sanctification of God. Everything made by the Word of God was sanctified by the same Word of God that created or made it.
[1 Timothy 4:4-5] — "For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer."
Being made "Holy (Sacred)" is greater than being made "Good:" God saw everything He made was very good, but God made the Seventh Day Holy because God rested in that Day. This is a gospel for us, the Seventh Day therefore earned for all creation a "A Thousand Years of Rest for those who are blessed and holy as that Seventh Day."
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, [Genesis 2:4 AKJV]
This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made them. [Genesis 2:4 BSB]
For purpose of understanding, I must differentiate between "the previous account" and "this account" of God's creation, for your sake.
*1* The Previous Account - "Genesis 1" till "Genesis 2:3" – is the account of "Time" or "Days and Nights" especially the first one week.
*2* But this Account – From "Genesis 2:4" till end of "Genesis 3" – is the account of "First Heaven" or "Garden of Eden."
As you can see, the Bible verse above said it's the generations or account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the "DAY" when the "LORD" God made "THE EARTH AND THE HEAVENS." Note the three sets of words I made stronger in this paragraph, for I have few brief to say under them:
DAY
This account only has "Day" but has no night because there was no night in the first heaven or paradise. The Days were not reading or counting, and so it was a long day but the same Day from the time the heaven and earth were created till the time Adam and Eve were driven away from the Garden, all was done in the same Day. This is unlike how the previous account would have said, "Evening and Morning, first day, second day,... sixth or Seventh Day etc. This Account only unified the whole timeline into just "One Day" and the first sunset (evening) and sunrise (morning) witnessed by Adam and Eve were after they were cast out of the Garden (Heaven on earth) where only Day existed, and no night or sun timezones.
You may discover from this account, that all the living creatures on earth were made in the same day including all the plants in the garden. The previous account would put plants created first before animals before mankind; but here in this account, man was made first before planting, before animals, and finally before the Woman, all in one and same Day.
LORD
This Bible verse above is the first to introduce the Creator God as the "LORD God" and the word "the LORD" began to appear in the Bible.
THE EARTH AND THE HEAVENS
The Earth and the Heavens were one, hence the Garden of Eden was the First Heaven. After the fall of mankind, and lost of the Garden of Eden, there was a second heaven, which is where we are now because the world or the earth is currently under wickedness and the princes of wickedness in heavenly places.
[1 John 5:19] — "And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness."
[Romans 8:22] — "For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now."
But there is in the future "The Third Heaven" which shall be far greater than the first heaven because in the third heaven the Tabernacle of God will be dwelling with mankind on earth, and there shall once more be no more night nor sun, as it was in the first heaven or garden of Eden. Behold we are in the second heaven, under the sun, having nights, days getting numbered for us to reach our death, life difficult, sorrows and solutions, vanity of vanities, toils and pleasures, etc.
before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; [Genesis 2:5 NKJV]
Now no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth, nor had any plant of the field sprouted; for the Lord God had not yet sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground. [Genesis 2:5 BSB]
Remember the days that were separated in the previous account are unified into a single day in this account, and many that were first then came last now and some that are last came first. This account is about the generations of the earth in the prolonged or elongated day the earth (dried ground) and heaven (firmament) were made by God.
Now, according to this Bible verse above, behold the order of how things emerged or appeared on earth (Generations of the earth) instead of the order of how God spoke them into being.
Before the plants was in the earth and before any growth of any herb on earth, there was a delay on the part of the Lord God Himself that withheld Rain from falling on the entire earth and there was no man to do that either in man's way of making plants grow. So God was delaying to cause the rain, and no man existed to create any reaction on the ground, and both meant nothing to trigger the emergence of plants on earth.
From these that proceeded, we may correct two or more impressions or teachings:
*1* Correction to — "There had been Garden of Eden before Adam came, and that the Serpent or angels were in charge there before Adam."
The Garden of Eden was not existing anywhere, since there was no plant on earth and God had not caused Rain to fall. Actually, the delaying to cause the rain to fall was purposely for God to Plant the Garden of Eden first before any other plant on earth emerged. This was like God delaying pregnancy to a couple that is seen as barren, but purposely for God to prepare special and extra ordinary firstborn child for that barren women. Thus, the delay or barrenness (unfruitfulness) was God's period of preparing the best fruits or outcome for him/her. So it was that the earth, which was barren due to the Lord God's delay, suddenly brought forth not just plants but Glorious Garden.
Now, the Garden was not existing before Adam was made; rather the Garden of Eden was planted after Adam emerged from the ground. Thus, Adam was the first being God put in the Garden to dress and keep it, before any Serpent or Animal ever came into the Garden of Eden.
Now the Garden of Eden was the first Heaven, which began after or during the formation of Adam from the ground. For purpose of leaving no doubt, there's difference between "First Heaven" and "Heaven" in this Commentaries.
"Heaven" means "Firmament or Places Above the Earth:" this heaven had been long before Adam was made. On the other hand, "First Heaven" means "Kingdom of Man or Reign of Man or Dominion of Man etc over the earth and the creatures therein."
"Second Heaven" means "Kingdom, Dominion or Reign of the earth, world or ground (grave and death) over mankind and all creatures therein." For through Adam's sin, Death reigned even over those who did not sin like Adam did (Romans 5:14-17). Basically, all the kingdoms, governments and powers of this world are part of the reign of this world (second heaven), which is different from the reign of man (first heaven), though men mount those kingdoms or governments of this world system; and the whole world lies under the power of Wickedness [1 John 5:19]. It's through wickedness and the power of Wickedness that those who reign in this kingdoms of the world thrive, just as the power of death to reign thrives through sin (wickedness). Same with hell.
"Third Heaven" means "Kingdom of God, Kingdom of Heaven (not of earth nor of this world, but) on earth or the Reign of God with us "Immanuel" on earth as it is in heaven."
Now, by way of general rule, whoever comes first in a kingdom automatically becomes the ruler of that kingdom. Man came first in the first heaven or in the kingdom of man, Garden of Eden, before the Serpent. If the Serpent had been in Eden's Garden before Adam, the Serpent would have been the ruler of that kingdom. Who is the First Man or First Lady in your Country?
Though Ezekiel witnessed the Cherub that covers had been in Eden, the Garden of God, it doesn't imply that Cherub was there before Adam.
*2* Correction to — "There was other man or men God created before Adam."
No way, for according to the top Bible verse above, "There was no man to till or cultivate the ground." On the entire ground or earth, there was no man existing anywhere until God formed Adam out of the dust of the ground.
Therefore, discountenance any teaching suggesting people were existing as men or women in the world on earth somewhere before Adam was. Satan the spirit of the Serpent began promoting this fake news, even to Adam and Eve. Nevertheless, angels, spirits etc, existed and walked in likeness of man, before Adam was formed as the First Man of the earth in the Image of God. Whatever Creature that could not till or cultivate the ground was not a "Man" or “Husband” even if such had likeness or appearance of man.
but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. [Genesis 2:6 NKJV]
But there went up a mist (fog, vapor) from the land and watered the whole surface of the ground– [Genesis 2:6 AMPC]
Waiting or expecting a descension of water from heaven, but instead there was an ascension from the earth. A good man will be satisfied from within himself according to "Proverbs 14:14."
In this Bible verse above, the earth that could not make plants to come up from within it happened to be the one making mist to come up from within it. It happened that the earth had not fully utilized all the capacities or strength God endowed it with, while looking up for external helper or rain from outside, whereas what the earth was looking for from outside was there hidden within it. It's important to know how much God already deposited or given us power to produce from within us, lest we be craving or complaining for what we need from outside when we already have abundance of them within us. The dew did not have to come from outside or from heaven, but from inside out.
There's a reason God prefers putting living waters inside us, springing up from within us, rather than showering us with showers of blessings sent from above down to us.
[John 4:13-15] — "Jesus answered and said to her, Whoever drinks of this water shall thirst again: But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman said to him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come here to draw."
That's how to know the Earth has become "Paradise:"
*1* When instead of the earth to depend on heaven for supplies or help such as rain or blessings from above, the earth would be self-sufficient, independent and helped from within herself.
*2* When instead of the earth to depend on help of a man to till the ground before the earth can be productive, the earth would rather have the man to enjoy the garden or productivity she had by God's help only, without the man being used or helping after all.
So the man thinking he was coming to help, but realized that God already helped and the earth had become fruitful and productive without the man's effort involved. And yet the earth would allow the same man or husband to be in charge and enjoy the fruits of where he did not sow, because the earth is paradise for man and her ground is not yet cursed against man.
These were the signs of paradise the earth became in the first heaven, when things would just be working themselves out for mankind, and the only job man had to do was to value, appreciate and keep all that the Lord and the ground (earth) were bringing and doing for the man's sake. Then it was not the earth that's needing a helper; but the man that was supposed to be the helper to the earth suddenly became the one needing helpers or suitable helper meet for him. So instead of man serving the earth, the Lord made all things for the service of the man. Man needed not labor to eat, for eating whatever he desired was freely given to the man except one forbidden Tree he must not eat in Obedience.
Here's Paradise, where:
[Romans 8:28] — "We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. [Genesis 2:7]
Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being. [I Cor. 15:45-49.] [Genesis 2:7 AMPC]
This Bible verse above is very clear in unveiling the origin of Man, and how Mankind came into being, including the source and Maker of Mankind. Yet, I hereby make comparisons between this "First Man" (First Adam) and the "Last Man" (Second Adam), in how they each emerged.
THE EARTH
Before the Lord God formed Adam from the dust of the earth, He had formed the earth; before then, the earth was formless and void. He who formed the earth (Isaiah 45:18) also formed the man of the earth, from the dust of the earth. What delayed the formation of the man was the formation of the earth; and as soon as the earth with its ground was formed and established, the Lord God formed the man of the ground next.
The Earth is the Field, the Place, where all these things pertaining to the Kingdom of Mankind dwell. The Earth has its or her rules for admitting any Living Creatures or Living Being as belonging to the earth: The Rule is that such Living Creature or Being must have at least "One of its Sources or Mediums must be of the Earth." Now God is already the One and Major Creator of all things on earth, and God is the Father but He's not of the earth. There's need for another earthly source or Co-Creator from the Earth to serve as the Mother to any living creature or living being belonging to the earth.
THE MOTHER
Both the First Adam and the Second Adam each had a Mother, that gave them or made them "Belonging to the Earth."
*1* The name of the Mother of the First Adam is called "Ground."
*2* The name of the Mother of the Second Adam is "Mary."
Both Mothers were "Virgins" or "Undefiled" when their own Adam came from each of them. This meant before their Adam came out of them, those Mothers were Virgins that had never had any man till their grounds (bodies) and there was no living creature, no building, no foreign waters/liquid/semen from external source except their own internal fountain or menstruation cycle. So both the First Adam and the Second Adam (Jesus Christ) were born of Virgins, and therefore each of these Men was Holy Firstborn, of their Mothers. Their Mothers both made them "Earthy" and "Holy:" "Earthy" because their Mothers were of the Earth, and "Holy" because their Mothers were Virgins or Holy at their birth.
THE FATHER
Both the First Adam and the Second Adam had God as their Father, but one of them became a "Living Soul" while the second Adam became a "Life-Giving-Spirit." God is Spirit, but Adam was a Soul while Jesus Christ was the Spirit or only Begotten Son.
This was because:
*1* The First Adam only received the Spirit of God by small measure called - "Breath of Life" in just his nostrils. This amount or quantity of the Spirit of God is not sufficient to make that man become a "spirit-being" but just a "soul-being." This Quantity of the Spirit of God is just a "Breath of Life;" and not in the whole parts of his body but just in his nostrils.
[Job 27:3] - "All the while my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God is in my nostrils;"
[Isaiah 2:22] - "Cease you from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?"
*2* The Second Adam (Jesus Christ) received the Spirit of God without measure in fullness. As it is written,
[John 3:34-36] - "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God: for God does not give the Spirit by measure to Him. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His Hand. He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that does not believe the Son of God shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him."
No man or angel received the fullness or quantity of the Spirit of God as much as the Son of God, Jesus Christ, received.
**** At His Conception His Mother was Overshadowed with the Spirit of God that was to possess the Son of God in her womb. This was not just a Breath of Life in nostrils, but fusion of the Holy Spirit into the Word made Flesh.
[Luke 1:35] - "And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Ghost shall come on you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that Holy Thing which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God."
**** At His Baptism the Spirit of the Father from Heaven descended on Him bodily like Dove.
[Luke 3:22] - "And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove on him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, "You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased."
**** The Father gave or made Him Life-Giving Spirit, and He (Second Adam) became able to give Life or give Holy Spirit to whomever He wills as God in heaven does. So He (Jesus Christ) Himself gives Holy Spirit (John 7:39), and gives eternal life (John 17:2, 10:28). He would or had sent the Holy Spirit as the Comforter, Helper or Spirit of Truth, to us after He ascended up to the Father (John 16:7).
**** Now the Second Adam (Jesus Christ) has the Seven Spirits of God in the heavens.
(Revelation 5:6) - "And I beheld, and, see, in the middle of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the middle of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth."
In the top Bible verse above, God formed Adam from the dust of the ground after a mist watered or wet that ground from within the earth. So it was not a dried dust of the ground but a wet dust or miry clay. These elements were implemented in the formation of the man, though unverified now:
*1 - The Water from within the Earth was significant part of the Man's Body: This Part of Man returns to whence it came by Dehydration.
*2 - The Dust on the Earth's Surface was significant part of the Man's Flesh: This Part of Man returns to whence it came by Death and Decease, when dust return to dust.
*3 - The Hairs on the Man's Body representing Plants/Grasses in him even when no plant had grown on the surface of the earth. This Part of Man returns to whence it came with the dust.
*4 - The Bones in the Man's Body were representing Stone. This Part of Man remains wherever the dead man laid unless is moved, broken or scattered like stones for thousands of years.
*5 - The Eyes in the Man's Body were representing the Sun. This Part of Man is the light of the man's body, and this light ends when life ends in the man's body, reducing the eye to just dust.
*6 - The Breath in the Man represent Part of God in the man. This Part of Man is the spirit of the man's body, and the spirit returns to God who gave it when the man dies (Ecclesiastes 12:7).
*7 - The Reflection in the Man's Image represent God's Image.
God's Formation or Hands only made him a Man, but did not make him a living soul or living being until God's breathed into him the Breath of Life. His life came from within God, from inside God.
*8 – Adam became a Living Soul: This Part of Man is the Personality or Identity of the man's being under the class of mortals or non-spirit beings, and this soul of man retains all the man's senses, values, traits, character, history and records, that shapes who he/she becomes in eternity without changing from it.
You have known that "God does not change in who He is forever." Begin also to know that a soul that has entered eternity can never change who he or she is forever; it's only when that soul is still a living soul before death that he/she can change or repent in who he/she is, but before death or before stepping into eternity where one cannot add or subtract to all he/she is and will ever be. For example, a living soul that is a liar before he died will forever remain a liar in eternity, just as the Devil remains a liar and can never abide in the truth because he became the father of lies forever. He who steals before he died and never repented will forever remain a thief in eternity when his/her soul is set for eternity. He who is social, friendly, jovial, isolated, kind, etc, whatever personality you are now and do not change or repent from, will define you forever when eternity sets into your soul and personality, whether you are in heaven or in hell. You can look at anyone right now and figure out how he or she would be in eternity based on his/her personality now, and there are people you may not want to be close to even in the next world to come.
In eternity, repentance can only be to what you would do, but no repentance to who you are. God repents from what He would do, but God never repents from who He is. Therefore be careful for this last Bible verse below:
[Revelation 22:11] — "He that is unjust, let him continue to be unjust still: and he that is filthy, let him continue to be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him continue to be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him continue to be holy still."
Adam became a Living Soul, but now Adam has become an Eternal Spirit in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Second Adam in heaven.
The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. [Genesis 2:8 NKJV]
Then the Lord God planted a garden in the East, in a place called Eden. He put the man he had formed in that garden. [Genesis 2:8 ICB]
From the place where God formed the Man, due East was where God planted a Garden in Eden. Looking from where the man was formed, the Garden was in the East. And looking from the Garden to where the Man was formed, taken from the ground and where the Man was later driven away from the Garden to return, it was in the West by the Western Gate of the Garden.
"God planted a Garden" Eastward in Eden, and then took the man from where He formed him to the East and placed him inside the Garden.
The Hebrews understand "Garden" as a fenced city of Plants, Running water Fountain or River, Recreation and Ornaments. Basically, Gardens mean "Parks."
So God planted a Garden means God built some form of Fencing or Boundaries around the Garden, and introduced Gate(s) for access and for security, like a fortified city. Is not like God sowed an open forest or wood where anything comes or goes through it in any direction, and called that a garden. A Garden is not an open farm, and a garden has varieties and fortification.
In the scriptures, a bride or spinster who has kept her virginity and remained sexually undefiled to just one man is like an enclosed Garden with fence and fortification, while a spinster or bride that's not a virgin is like an exposed garden with broken walls or no fence at all that all manner strangers had accessed through. As it is written,
[Song 4:12-15] — "A garden enclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed. Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard, Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices: A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon."
Vineyard is similar to Garden because both have "Yard" or an "Enclosure" around them, and Garden is "Court-Yard."
[Ecclesiastes 2:5-6] — "I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits: I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that brings forth trees:"
In the Bible verse above, God planted a Garden Eastward in Eden, and there He put the man He formed. Here are two key points to note about the Good-Works God was doing for the man here:
*1* Instead of building a Shelter or House for the man, He planted a Garden and put the man in there.
That was far better than a shelter or house for the man because there the Light and Glory of God were Shelter, and the ceiling was basically open screen into the presence of God in heaven where angels dwelt. There was no sun or no exposure to any threat from above that needs a shelter or roof to avert. Heaven and that Garden where connected as One, making the Garden - "Paradise"
It's like building walls but no roofing. The walls or fence mean to cut those in here from the rest of the world outside, while the open or no roofing is to connect those in here with the heavens above. Thus in that day, shelter was just vertical barrier and not horizontal barrier, to keep Mankind's Mind in things above in heaven and not things in the world around them. No hindrance to the Lights/Spirits from above, but hindrance to sides distractions.
However, there's coming a town where even walls will not be necessary because God's Glory would be the wall around as well as the roofing above or within it as dwelling place of God.
BSB'19 Berean Study Bible (BSB)
[Zechariah 2:4-5] — "and said to him, “Run and tell that young man: ‘Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the multitude of men and livestock within it. For I will be a wall of fire around it, declares the LORD, and I will be the glory within it.’”"
*2* Instead of bringing the man through one of the Gate into the Gate, the Lord put the man into the Garden without recourse to the gate.
The man did not pass through gate when he was brought into the Garden, but the man passed through gate when he was sent out of the Garden.
So the Garden did not see the man as stranger or visitor come inside the Garden when the Man was put there, though God and the man knew the man was taken from somewhere in the west outside the Garden to be in there by a mysterious way.
The Lord God Himself will bring the Man back into that Garden without using the gates of the Garden. Cherub and flaming fire may be by the gate, but the Lord God has His hidden way of returning Mankind into the Garden and Paradise. As it is written,
[Luke 23:43] — "And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, To day shall you be with Me in paradise."
Not like Paul was caught up into paradise, where he heard unspeakable words he could not utter or share us [2 Corinthians 12:4]. I don't even understand the benefits of Paul getting caught up into paradise when he could neither share with us what he saw or what he heard there, and he did not stay there long enough to bring something from there down to us, except to tell us the paradise is in third heaven. And he could not even tell us whether he was in the body or in spirit when he was caught up into paradise. What then could Paul tell or share with us about that experience?
Behold, Adam was caught up into paradise (Garden) of God, and that was with his body and soul, and not leaving any part of him behind when God took him into the Garden.
[NKJV]
And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
[BSB]
Out of the ground the Lord God gave growth to every tree that is pleasing to the eye and good for food. And in the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
When God planted a Garden, East of where He formed man, I take it that God only planted "Two Trees" in the middle of the Garden. Those two trees were basically the main substance or contents of the Garden, while other trees pertaining to the Garden were "Ornaments" to the Garden.
Those two Trees were "Tree of Life" and "Tree of Knowledge of good and evil." Without these two, there was no essence to that Garden God planted and secured. Infact, God brought Man to keep the Garden by keeping from eating one of those two trees; and because God would not trust sinful man not to eat of the tree of life, God drove the man away from the entire Garden and brought Cherub with flaming sword just to guard against unwanted access to the tree of life.
So God had formed a Garden and a Paradise with just one single Tree called the "Tree of Life." You may have heard people say in their proverb, "A single Tree cannot make a forest." But this is one Tree that can make a Paradise or Garden of Delight, doing alone what should have taken multiple trees to do, such as bearing different kinds of fruits in each month of the year, and having leaves more powerful than all the herbs, since its leave heals all kinds of sicknesses, diseases and illnesses. That's Multifarious and Multitasking Tree of Life.
The Tree of Life is always located at the Middle or Center: +
*1* Either the Tree of Life is in the middle or center of the Garden of God — [See Bible verse above]
*2* Or the Tree of Life is in the middle or center of the Paradise of God — [Revelation 2:7]
*3* Or the Tree of Life is in the middle or center of the Street of the most glorious City — [Revelation 22:2-3]
However, though the Tree of Life be located at the center or middle, the security check/access point to the Tree of Life begins at the Gates or Fence Borders where one shows License or Right to the Tree of Life before he/she may enter the gate. As is written
[Revelation 22:14-15 BSB] — "Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by its gates. But outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood."
If you have just one Tree of Life in your community or city, you don't need any farmland or fruit tree again because you all cannot exhaust all the fruits, leaves and diversities of the tree of life forever. Actually, there is no good life or good thing any other tree gives that the Tree of Life Will not give also. Everything good for life you find in any tree, fruit or leaf, is also found in the Tree of Life.
Nevertheless, God still made other trees to grow from the ground, just to divert attention from concentrating on the tree of life alone. And to further make it "Trial of Choices," God set up the tree of knowledge of good and evil to compete with the tree of life for choices of men.
Now, those two Trees were in the Garden or were the Garden themselves, before Man was brought into the Garden. The Two Trees were the main Garden planted there when Adam was put there, and those two Trees did not grow from the ground there like other trees in the Garden.
God made every other tree in the Garden to grow from the ground, except those two Trees in the middle of the Garden that did not grow from the ground but were planted as Trees there.
PLEASANT TO THE EYES
All the trees in the Garden were all Pleasant (imparting Pleasures) to the Eyes, because the heavens above were opened to directly make room for heavenly atmosphere and waves transmission signals to fill the Garden and cause the trees and things in the Garden to reflect and impact pleasures, visions and glories, just by beholding them. It was not as if God made those trees from precious stones or glasses, but that the lights and glories of God and the heavens above were beaming on those trees and making them extra ordinarily glorious in transfiguration of those trees by the heavenlies reflections on them. For example, the same kind of fig tree that is in this world was also in the Garden, but that one in the Garden was pleasant to the eyes, containing glorious sight and visions just because heavenly transmissions and radioactive waves were received directly from heaven by the tree and reflected on that fig-tree in the Garden.
You don't expect a person or object that's in heaven to have similar outlook as its kind that's not in heaven under God's presence. Remember the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ or remember how Moses' Face Shone with brightness just for being with and seeing God on the Mount. Even the face of Stephen was seen as the face of an angel in countenance, when people saw him in court (Acts 6:15). However, some transformation or transfiguration from being with God is not facial, but intellectual. That is, you may not be seeing their faces changed, but you are seeing their intellectual soundness, wisdom and depth in the Word of God drastically increased, especially when they did not attend any Bible School or educational institution to warrant such levels or capacity of intellectual soundness, then you know they have been in the presence of God like Daniel or as these apostles:
[Acts 4:13 GW] — "After they found out that Peter and John had no education or special training, they were surprised to see how boldly they spoke. They realized that these men had been with Jesus."
So those trees that grow in the Garden of Eden were pleasing or glorious sweet to the eyes and sight, just because they were being in and under the glories and waves of God and the heavens.
However:
Those "Two Trees" that did not grow from the ground were different from the rest of the trees that grew from the ground, in how they imparted or impacted the Eyes.
**1** The Trees that grew from the ground of the Garden only transmitted pleasures, sweetness, glories and beautiful spectrums of lights into the eyes beholding them. But,
**2** The Two Trees that did not grow from the ground were both doing all the other trees were doing in transmissions, in addition to doing what the trees could not do, to the Eyes.
The extra things they were doing to the Eyes, which the other trees could not do to the eyes, were "Openings of the Eyes." Those two Trees did not just transmit or reflect pleasures to the eyes, but they also opened (unveiled or illuminated) the eyes to see what the blind or visually limited could not see. Both the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil and the Tree of Life are Trees that open the Eyes of man forever when the man eats of any of them. You have known how much the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil could open people's eyes, but you are yet to know the degree to which the Tree of Life would open the Eyes of people and saints.
GOOD FOR FOOD
All the trees in the Garden were all good for food. However:
Those trees that God made to grow from the ground were the Trees God gave Adam the freedom to eat at anytime and anyhow he wanted. But those two Trees that did not grow from the ground were not free food to Adam: he would pay the cost (death) in arrears after eating one of the two trees, but he would pay a price (life) in advance before eating the other Tree of the two Trees.
One is on debit, the other one is on credit: and man cannot eat both of them in the same lifetime because the cost of eating one of the two trees is the opportunity cost of forgoing the other tree.
*1* If you eat the tree that will make you live forever, you will not be able to pay for eating the tree that will cost your death to pay.
*2* If you eat the tree that will cost your death to pay, you will not spiritually live in heavenly/godly realms long enough to pay in advance for the right or license of eating the tree of eternal life.
Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads.
Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it branched into four headwaters:
Though the Garden received many things directly from the heaven above where God dwelt, rain or showers (watering) from heaven was not one of them. Remember the earth had learnt to water herself instead of waiting for God to cause it to rain from heaven:
*1.* A Mist "Went-up" (against Gravity) to water the whole face of the ground according to "Genesis 2:6" and,
*2.* A River "Went-out" (against Self-centeredness) to water the Garden according to this Bible verse above.
Now, looking carefully at these waters or rivers in "Genesis 2" you should note that the scriptures animated the waters in this chapter, making the waters/rivers to appear like independent living creatures that acted on their own without being caused or made to act as they acted by God. The only time anything pertaining to water was imputed to God in "Genesis 2" was when it was said "God had not caused it to rain," and with that everything about River or watering was not imputed or credited to what God did until when God caused it to rain in "Genesis 7."
Yes, we know God is the One doing all things even in secrets, but let's follow how it appeared in the Bible. You see when talking about the plants or trees in "Genesis 2," the scriptures imputed it to God as He who made or caused it in "Genesis 2." When talking about the people and living creatures in "Genesis 2," the scriptures imputed it to God as He who made or caused it in "Genesis 2." However, when talking about the water and watering in "Genesis 2," the Bible did not imput it to God as He who made or caused it in "Genesis 2" just as the Spirit of God moved in "Genesis 1." So let's assume the waters in "Genesis 2" had mind of their own, and acted or moved by their self motivation and will.
In the Bible verse above,
A River went-out of Eden to water the Garden,
Nothing was said about how the River emerged or came in Eden in the first place, not even to mention the source of the River. We only know the River was there when the River was going out of Eden with the purpose of watering the Garden.
That was the "First River" from the beginning in Genesis, and so was the beginning of how Rivers on earth may become. This River was not a Collector, but a Distributor. The River was a selfless Giver, who was not only giving (watering) but was also reaching out or doing outreaches in order to give or distribute more to other parts of the earth after covering the Garden of Eden first.
It was not the Garden of Eden that gave to the River, rather the River was the one giving to the Garden of Eden and giving to various lands and places in various parts of the earth. So that River was technically, "A Minister of God" to the Garden and to all it watered (ministered drinks to).
When it seemed all attention of the heavens and the world were focused only on the Garden, the River was busy traveling to other parts of the world that were not attractive and making those places attractive and well watered. The River was taking the Gospel and reaching out with the Gospel both within the congregation of the Garden of Eden and far beyond in other uttermost parts of the earth with just four heads or branches. So even if the Lord would not cause it to rain for some time more, this River or Stream Movement would be doing for the earth what the rain was not yet doing.
And from there the River parted and became four heads
Was the River not supposed to diminish the more the grounds and creatures drank or took from it? Was the River not supposed to dry up during the dry season when there's no rain?
Why or how comes the River was growing mightier and greater the more the River watered or distributed its resources to feed the thirsty? How did the little River grew into four mighty River-Heads and Branches, that became the greatest Rivers in the entire history of the earth even to the point that no draught or dry season could dry one of those River Head called "Euphrates" until the sixth Angel pours his vial of God's wrath on the River Euphrates to dry it in the end times according to "Revelation 16:12?"
The River from Eden was watering all things, the more the River was being watered and increasing, so that being more liberal or generous in giving and reaching out was making the River fatter and richer. As it is written,
[Proverbs 11:24-25 NKJV] — There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.
It's like the River from the Temple of God in the days to come, as shown to Ezekiel in "Ezekiel 47." The more the water from the Temple or House of God was advancing from the House to reach out to people and creatures in the world with the Gospel from the House of God in outreaches, the more greater in size the capacity of that River became until the River grew into a size that a man could not swim and cross through. That's where the river have reached the remotest and farest points to the world, far away from the house or church temple where the gospel or water was coming from.
This is a secret to growing in grace and in anointing of the Holy Spirit, reaching out and giving out in abundance freely, beyond your church or garden into those outside the christian circle, even to those who have nothing to do with God, bringing the gospel, the grace and the light to them, and then watch as yours are increasing more and more the further you get outside your church or brethren community with your gospel.
Not the gospel of inviting them to your church before they can drink, but the gospel of taking the drink to them there where they are. Like these waters or rivers did not invite the world or Creatures out there to come to the garden or to the house of God before they drink; rather they gave them the drinks wherever they met them, just as Melchizedek was a Priest moving about with holy Communion and administering Holy Communion to those He had to do so to, wherever He met them on the Streets, without necessarily bringing them to any church or temple before he would feed them the blessings and communion of bread and wine.
These were Outreaches and Liberality in distribution of Grace. Stop sharing the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ only when you are in church or within your fellow church members or Christians. Get to sharing the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and fellowship of the Holy Spirit, with those far away from your church or house of God. Go into all the world with the Gospel.
The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.
[AMP]
The first [river] is named Pishon; it flows around the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold.
The River that went out of Eden to water the Garden, both divided and multiplied into four heads or four rivers because they had four different destinations and different landmarks to fulfilling their calling or purpose after the common purpose of watering the Garden. What kept them together in their journey to water the Garden on their way out of Eden, was replaced with their different destinations, callings, landmarks and journey purposes, after they unitedly fulfilled watering the Garden of Eden.
The first of them to divide away on course, and to find its separate path and landmarks, was named "Pishon."
That "Division" was also "Multiplication." In human arithmetics, Division is opposite/inverse to Multiplication; but in the spiritual realms of higher wisdom, there are "Multiplications" that come by "Divisions" or "Breakings Asunder." E.g. Before the Lord Jesus multiplied the Bread, He first broke the Bread asunder.
In the Bible verse above, the "First Part of the Broken River" was identified by two things, which were:
*1* Described by its Name - "Pishon"
*2* Described by its last known Destination - "Land of Havilah"
The story of Pishon, the first named River outside Eden, is interestingly glorifying the land of Havilah above any other land or even waters outside the Garden of Eden. So "Pishon" was always leaving both Eden and its collective waterbody, to travel all the way just to come be with or settle around the whole entire land of Havilah, perhaps went no further again beyond the land.
The fact it circled or compassed the land of Havilah meant the Land of Havilah was the River's "Compass" and "Compassion:" And perhaps Pishon rejoined itself again after surrounding the land of Havilah.
Since the story of Pishon glorified the land of Havilah, let's see it from Havilah's perspective.
Havilah was the name of two men after the Flood of Noah, which meant even after the flood there was still this River Pishon from Eden. The flood did not nullify/modify the top Bible verse above.
The first man with the name, Havilah, was a son of Ethiopia (Cush) or nephew to Egypt (Genesis 10:7); descendants of Ham. The second man with the name, Havilah, was a descendant of Shem whom Noah blessed the most among all his sons. This second Havilah had a brother called "Ophir" [Genesis 10:29]. The Gold of Havilah and the Gold of Ophir are among the best quality Gold.
The Land of Havilah therefore attracted and retained these riches that formed major Landmarks to the Land of Havilah:
** Gold
** Bdellium
** Onyx Stone
** Pishon, the first River outside Eden.
Therefore, the Land of Havilah was the first Promised Land or Promising Land outside Eden. Before the land of Canaan rose to be a land of milk and honey used as a Promisedland or Promising Land, the Land of Havilah rose to be a Land of Gold and Precious Stones, and to which the first River, Pishon, became a Landmark.
And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there.
And the gold of that land is pure, and bdellium and onyx are found there.
Then again, the story of Pishon glorified the land of Havilah and placed that land on the spotlight above it. We were not yet told what was inside the river water, but already told valuables found inside the land where the river was guarding as Island under the security of water boundaries around it. That land was basically a Treasury/Warehouse, and River Pishon secured/ornamented it.
The land of Havilah was a very rich land, that was endowed with Gold that was naturally "Good or Pure" even without needing man's refinery or much purification. Someone said, money does not grow on trees, but forgot to acknowledge that there are lands where money or gold are buried in them for those who have the eyes to see them and to buy the entire land because of the gold and precious stones hidden in them. The Land of Havilah was such as we could classify as "Field with Hidden Treasures."
And since the land of Havilah was like that field, having:
** Bdellium: Colorless Aromatic Resin or Gum with Sweet Scent
** Onyx Stone: The first stone named or mentioned in the Bible.
** Pishon: The first River outside Eden.
Therefore, the Land of Havilah qualified to be used as parable in illustrating the Kingdom of Heaven or even the Garden of Eden. As it is written;
[Matthew 13:44] — "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like to treasure hid in a field; the which when a man has found, he hides, and for joy thereof goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field."
Except that there were men who dwelt on the land of Havilah but had no eyes to see the treasures in that land, and so they left Havilah for Shur instead of abiding at Havilah. Ishmael was said:
[Genesis 25:17-18] — "And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered to his people. And they dwelled from Havilah to Shur, that is before Egypt, as you go toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brothers."
The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush.
[AKJV]
And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasses the whole land of Ethiopia.
According to the Bible verse above, "The Second River (Gihon) and the River around the whole land of Ethiopia, is basically the same." From the time and place this Second River (Gihon) left from the River of Eden, till it surrounded the land of Ethiopia (Cush), it remained the same River called Gihon. Whether other rivers broke out of it or other rivers joined it along the way, the point is that it remained "The Same River" from the second branch off the River of Eden to the compassing of the Land of Ancient Ethiopia.
This was not just about remaining the same river through the distance between the land of Ethiopia and the land of Eden, but also about remaining the same river through thousands of years from when Adam was in Eden to when and after the grandson of Noah, called "Cush" or "Ethiopia" was born and allocated that land, even to the point when this part of the Book of Genesis was written. That River was the same; not changed.
Mankind did not remain the same from Adam in the Garden to Ethiopia, the father of the Black Race or Africans after the flood. So Mankind changed from Eden to Ethiopia land, but Gihon the second river was the same from Eden to Ethiopia land. There are people you cannot say are the same from where/when they began to where they are now, because they changed though still bearing the same names: some have grown worse than they were before, and other grown better than they were before.
But here was a River named Gihon, which passed through many lands and flood between when it became the second branch off the River of Eden to when it's surrounded the land of Cush, and neither its name or Identity was changed for it to forget where it was coming from by reason of where it had been. If anything, it rather grew in size and potentials on arriving the land of Cush, and not declined in potency.
The name "Gihon" means "Stream" in Hebrew language. The second river is named Gihon or named "Stream." May our Streams, Streamings and Fountains, retain their integrity and identity no matter the large distances, places or times covered.
The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.
And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goes toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
These two Rivers differed from the first two in preceding verses by these two Rivers not compassing or surrounding any land as if being in love with a land unlike the first two. Rather these Two Rivers just cut through all the lands on their parts, forming partial borders/boundaries to various lands but made none island. E.g. Tigris river was partial East Border to Assyria, and Euphrates was partial Border/Boundary to Israel's Promised Land.
Moreover, these two Rivers, Hiddekel (Tigris) and Euphrates, were the most spiritually significant rivers on earth outside Eden, having roles in Revelations and Visions. Therefore, they were referred to as the "Great River" in books of Revelation. Examples
[Daniel 10:4-7 AMP] — On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was on the bank of the great river Hiddekel [which is the Tigris], I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a certain man dressed in linen, whose loins were girded with [a belt of] pure gold of Uphaz. His body also was like beryl [with a golden luster], his face had the appearance of lightning, his eyes were like flaming torches, his arms and his feet like the gleam of burnished bronze, and the sound of his words was like the noise of a multitude [of people or the roaring of the sea]. And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision [of this heavenly being], for the men who were with me did not see the vision; nevertheless, a great panic overwhelmed them, so they ran away to hide themselves.
Four Angels were imprisoned and chained inside one of these great Rivers, Euphrates precisely; and it will take one of the Seven last trumpets of Angels and a voice of the Four Horns of God's Altar to release those four Angels trapped/tied at the greatest River, Euphrates. As it is written,
[Revelation 9:14-14] — "And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates."
The Book of Jeremiah was bound with a stone and cast into the great River Euphrates from where it will not rise up again, as a prophecy that Babylon shall fall and not rise again. Written thus:
[Jeremiah 51:63-64 GNT] — Seraiah, when you finish reading this book to the people, then tie it to a rock and throw it into the Euphrates River and say, ‘This is what will happen to Babylonia—it will sink and never rise again because of the destruction that the Lord is going to bring on it.’” The words of Jeremiah end here.
The greatest of the Four Rivers is the great River Euphrates, which is the top Bible verse above was not even associated or connected to any land as Landmark. Euphrates did not need any land for identity, but remained as the remnant of the River from Eden after the other three branched off to their separate paths.
Great River Euphrates cannot be dried up by any natural forces, unless by the Bowl of God's Wrath poured into that River to dry it. And the day that great River Euphrates shall be dried up shall be day to begin Armageddon War between Christ and Anti-Christ.
[Revelation 16:12-16 NKJV] — Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.
And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
So the Lord God took the man [He had made] and settled him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it.
Please understand these:
The Lord God did not bring the man into the Garden just to enjoy and have fun, eat and rest or play inside the Garden. Rather He brought the man into the Garden basically to Work.
Purpose
To work, earned Adam entrance into paradise. Adam did not work for it but by grace was he saved or placed into the Garden, but to work. We are not saved by our works but by grace through faith, not of works; however we are saved to work (Good-Works)
[Ephesians 2:8-10] — "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them when saved."
You don't have to work for you to be saved, but you are saved to work out your salvation or bear fruits. Many Christians are lacking in this aspect, and Adam failed in this first assignment of God to him and for which he was brought into the Garden to do.
Supposing I am a poor man looking at a very giant Castle of the rich ruler, with great feast and attractions going on inside there, but I am neither invited nor worthy to go through the gates inside. How do get into that Castle or Organization without trespassing? It's by simply getting hired to do menial but crucial works for them, e.g. Gardening Services, Cleaning Services, House Keeping, etc, even though it's like the lowest grade of work. Is that not the job Adam was employed to do, employed as mere Gardener, Housekeeper, Cleaner, etc for the great Garden of Eden?
Adam was not employed as Director or higher grade Officer into the Garden, but employed as either Gardener, Gatekeeper or Cleaner, as one of those lower grade of workers in a reputable organization or large household. Eve, the most beautiful Woman on earth married Adam, a man that was a mere Gardener or Garden Keeper, who was neither the owner of the garden nor was he one of the top staff there. Infact, Adam was under rule to not touch or eat something there according to He who employed him; and the penalty for breaking that rule will not just get Adam fired or sacked from there, but will even get Adam to die because of breaking that rule. And Adam agreed to abide by that terms and conditions to work in that Garden or Organization.
Who was that woman that saw the Lord Jesus Christ as a Gardener, and did not even bother to greet Him but even assumed He was the one that stole the Body of Jesus away from the Tomb or He knew where the Body was kept; but as soon as the supposed "Gardener" called her by name, she realized He was the Lord and called Him, "Rabboni?" She looked down at a Gardener.
My illustration is that, for me to get into that large Company, castle or Organization, I should rather seek for those humble work or services to be employed there, just to have access into there. Not seeking the higher grade jobs at first instance. Perhaps, when I am inside there as a mere gardener or cleaner, I could then reapply for upgrade or higher positions there at vacancies.
In the top Bible verse above, God took and brought the man into the Garden, not because He prepared a table for the man to eat and drink as a feast invitation but, because He was employing the man to do work for Him in His Garden. That is how the Kingdom of God is, as a God or a Man who is recruiting workers into His Garden, Paradise or Vineyard. As it is written,
[Matthew 20:1-2] — "For the kingdom of the heavens is like to a man, a master of a house, who went out in the morning to hire workmen for his vineyard. And having agreed with the workmen on a denarius for the day, he sent them into his vineyard."
Did you see how those laborers or workmen gained access into that man's vineyard through getting hired to work there? That's part of how the Kingdom of Heaven operates in allowing people access. Your works matter, and your works should follow you when you enter, even when your properties would not follow you when you die. You would be amazed at how meticulous our God is, and very Wise in His dealings.
Make yourself relevant in the household of God, and make sure you are employed or offering services that God respects.
Do not see eternity in heaven/earth as just singing and praising God for eternity; for Eternal Life is eternal Rest full of Activities and Works called "Wonders." So there will still be works to do, or doing Wonders and Glorious Deeds for eternity. Ecclesiastes stated that whatever God does is eternal, and man can neither add nor subtract from what God has done and finished (Ecclesiastes 3:15). But to make men relevant in working with God, He chose men to work on whatever He had worked or done. God planted the Garden right? And yet God wanted man to dress and keep it. The Lord said it's finished right? And yet the Lord called men to build on His finished works. God completed the heavens and earth, with the hosts of them on the sixth day right? And yet He called men to replenish the earth and develop it. He made all the animals right? And yet brought them for Adam to name them. He planted the Vineyard as the Owner right? And yet sought workers to work on His Vineyard.
Later you will understand that God wants men to retouch all the works God created and made including retouching angels, stars, heavenly things, so that all things will come to the state where it will be said of them, "Both God and Men worked them together." Men are God's Coworkers. So bear in mind that your entering into heaven, into paradise etc, is to work and to walk with the Lord in His Household. It's an employment or "High Calling." Those who were faithful in handling their Master's Five Talents were given a higher calling of managing five or ten cities; and those faithful in working two talents were exalted to high calling of working over two cities. Basically, the joys they entered were promotions to working at higher levels over greater things.
The reason I said Adam failed in this first calling of God to man to work in paradise or Garden of God:
I have not seen any scripture that said Adam did or fulfilled those duties of dressing and keeping the Garden. The top Bible verse above only mentioned the Works as Purpose or Calling for Adam into the Garden, but did not mention anywhere else that Adam fulfilled or finished that course/assignment. But in the second assignment given to Adam in the Garden, pertaining to naming the animals, Adam finished that assignment and completed it.
Adam was to dress and keep the Garden, but Adam lost the Garden and obviously did not keep it. A Cherub (angel) and flaming sword was later reassigned or made to replace Adam in the calling of keeping the Garden after Adam was sacked/fired.
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;
And the Lord God commanded him, “You may eat freely from every tree of the garden,
Please understand that the communication of God to man in this Bible verse above was these three and more:
*1* Commandment of God to man,
*2* Gifting or feeding the man,
*3* Setting the man free or licensing the man.
More importantly, the man was gifted by the Commandment of God to "eat freely" of what he dressed and kept in the Garden. Being partaker of the fruits was not to destroy nor waste the fruits, but to unite the fruits with their keepers/lovers who have labored for them. This Commandment was only meant for or valid only in the Garden and not applicable without the Garden/temple.
We saw the gifts of God earlier came to mankind as "Blessings" and we are here seeing the gifts of God come to mankind as "Commandment of God." It's not just by blessing mankind that God gave gifts to men, but also by commanding or instructing mankind God endowed gifts to men. Therefore, there are gifts of God expressed as and in the Commandments of God to men.
Not only was the Commandment of God "gifting the man" in the Bible verse above, but the Commandment of God was also "Setting free the man." Please do not ask whether the man was in bondage before to have needed to be set free, like the Jews asked the Lord Jesus Christ why He said that they who were Abraham's descendants and we're never in bondage of any man needed to be set free (John 8:32-36).
Setting free someone is not just about resolving bondages among men, but about being free from sin or about no involvement of sin or offenses in any matter. Bondage/slavery considered was not just the past and present, but also futuristic bondage/slavery. If there will be sin in my doing that thing, it means I am not free to do that thing: It doesn't necessarily mean I am in bondage already though I am yet to do that thing, but means I will be in bondage in future when I do it because there will be sin in my act of doing that thing. Therefore, the first opposite of being a "Sinner" was being a "Free Being," not even being "Righteous Being." No one was talking about Adam being righteous, but for him to be free.
Freedom or Liberty of the Spirit of God in the Lord Jesus Christ is way more broader than Righteousness. Righteousness is about selecting the right choices only or doing the right things only, and "Right things" means "Chosen things." But freedom is about doing all things not caring whether they are right (chosen) or not, but only caring there's no sin or bondage in them. If God was seeking righteousness in the first Adam, God would have specified His Will or Choices of the trees for Adam to eat just the Will of God (Righteousness). You saw how it was for the second Adam, Jesus Christ, who was bound to choose only the Will of God the Father for Him and not His own will as Son of man - that was Man locked up to doing Righteousness. But the first Adam was having his own freewill or will to do aside the Will of God, because he was called to be free, not called to be righteous. He was called to keep God's Commandment, but not necessarily to keep God's Will.
Don't worry, the Second Adam was Himself God, and His doing the Will was He's doing His own Will basically: the Will of God is His.
but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
[GNT]
except the tree that gives knowledge of what is good and what is bad. You must not eat the fruit of that tree; if you do, you will die the same day.”
In the Bible verse above, two distinct items could be said to bring knowledge or enlightenment (opening man's eyes): They include:
*1* The Commandment of God:
[Psalms 19:8] — "...the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes."
In my comments under the preceding verse, I showed the Commandment of God bringing gifts to men, but here I show the Commandment of God opening men's eyes as in enlightenment.
*2* The Tree of Knowledge of good and evil:
[Genesis 3:5] — "For God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."
So agree that both the Commandment of God and the Forbidden Tree had ways of enlightening or opening man's eyes. But when the forbidden Tree opened men's eyes they knew good and evil, whereas when the Commandment of God opened the eyes of the man in the Bible verse above the man began to know sin and death.
By the Forbidden Tree came knowledge of good and evil, but by the Commandment (Law) of God came knowledge of sin and death.
As it is written,
[Romans 7:7-11 FBV] — So what do we conclude? That the law is sin? Of course not! I wouldn't have known what sin was unless the law defined it. I wouldn't have realized that wanting to have other people's things for myself was wrong without the law that says, “Don't desire for yourself what belongs to someone else.” But through this commandment sin found a way to stir up in me all kinds of selfish desires—for without law, sin is dead. I used to live without realizing what the law really meant, but when I understood the implications of that commandment, then sin came back to life, and I died. I discovered that the very commandment that was meant to bring life brought death instead, because sin found a way through the commandment to deceive me, and used the commandment to kill me!
It therefore means, God introduced the knowledge of sin and death to Adam when God commanded him against the knowledge of good and evil. The only lust or covetousness to avoid then was the lust to eat or take anything from the forbidden Tree.
That was the forbidden Tree, because it gives or reveals forbidden knowledge of certain mysteries; and they are the mysteries of evil and good. Mankind was commanded or forbidden from feeding on the revelations from such mysteries though they are also wisdom.
*1* Forbidden, but not Evil
The tree of knowledge of good and evil was also a tree of wisdom, but the tree of life that was a Tree of greater Wisdom with everlasting life. The fact that tree of knowledge of good and evil is referred to as forbidden Tree or forbidden fruit, does not imply it was an evil tree because it was actually a good but forbidden tree only to mankind. Every tree in the Garden of God was good, though this one was forbidden for the man in the Garden.
Actually, the Tree itself was not a "Forbidden Tree," but the fruits or knowledge from the Tree was the actual "Forbidden" or "Forbidden Knowledge." In the order of God, certain mysteries or sets of knowledge were forbidden to mankind, but not to angels. Angels may know them but must not reveal them to mortal men lest they be corrupted by such knowledge. These sets of knowledge included these knowledge of good and evil, which the Serpent was cursed forever for being the angel who got men to know it. There were other kinds of knowledge such as those the fallen angels revealed to daughters of men whom they married, including knowledge of witchcraft, sorcery, astrology, necromancy, warfare crafts, cosmetics artificials and superficial maskings and surgeries, white and black magics and enchantments, etc. Those angels too were cursed for disclosing such kinds of knowledge to mankind, by which they were corrupted even further, increasing fornication, evil and murders.
*2* Forbidden, but not Hidden
I say "Forbidden" but not "Hidden:" It was not a hidden tree to the man, but forbidden to the man. In the Bible verse above, God even mentioned the name or what the tree gives (knowledge of good and evil) to man while commanding him to never eat of it or for he must die in the day he eats of it. God was not acting like how some parents or adults would do concerning 'Sex Education' to children, feeling it's better to keep sex matters hidden than come clean to teach little children on time about Sex in order to forbid premarital sex. God was blunt, and it appears Adam knew the particular tree that bore the title, "Knowledge of good and evil" either that God pointed the tree to him or there was some form of label or descriptions to identify each tree in the Garden and what they do when eaten or used. Forbidden but not hidden.
Actually, it was after mankind ate of this forbidden Tree that hiding things among men became a thing. Before then, man and woman were naked, and everything was openly to them, for there was no need to hide anything from them. Even little babies without the corruption of the knowledge of good and evil have nothing to hide and no need to hide things from them. But as soon as that knowledge or wisdom of good and evil makes them aware, then hiding or covering becomes necessary.
*3* Forbidden, but not out of reach or accessible
Somehow, this forbidden Tree was more reachable than the Tree of Life. There wes no sword, flame or cherub, to barricade the way to the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. Infact, in this book of Genesis revealed to us, God seemed to had talked more about the forbidden Tree to the man than He talked about the Tree of Life.
Again, by the Commandment of God, the man knew both sin and knew this forbidden tree of knowledge of good and evil. Unfortunately, Adam did not ask God to give him more information about the forbidden knowledge of good and evil.
"And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to live alone. I will make a suitable companion to help him.”
In the Bible verse above, and coming immediately after God forbade the knowledge of good and evil for the man, God spoke a knowledge that identified being alone as "Not Good" for the man.
This meant when the man did not know what was good and evil for him, God was the One deciding what was good or "not good" or evil for the man. A baby of few months may not even know what is good or evil for itself, and that's why the child has parents who can tell what's needed, good, not good or evil, for the child that has no knowledge of good and evil yet. Even so, the man did not have to judge what's good or evil for him by the forbidden knowledge of the tree, but by the Spirit and Love of God.
Thus, when the eyes of man was not yet opened, the Eyes of God was seeing for man. The man was metaphorically blind to some physical realities/things around him, but leveraged on seeing better things through the Spirit of God. He saw better because God was the only source by which the man knew what he needed or judged what's good, or not good, for him. That changed when man ate the fruit of the forbidden knowledge, and their eyes became opened to know good and evil by themselves without God.
In other words, the Bible verse above illustrates the era when God was doing the reasoning or conscience judging for man's needs and choice of goods for him. But down the line, the knowledge of good and evil began to compete with God in that regards over man because that knowledge meant the man became civilized and independent to reason for himself what he needed or wanted.
Here are three distinctions between "When God was thinking for man" according to this Bible verse above and "When man was thinking for himself" according to the forbidden fruit of the knowledge of good and evil they ate.
*1* -A- God thinking for man here, identified "that the man being alone was not good," and God made the First Promise He made and fulfilled for man, which is the Promise of God will make for the man a Helper suitable for the man. This was both the first promise and the first gift of God to man, made specifically for him — that is, the woman. Other things God made before were not made specifically for man, although they were given to him after they were made. But the woman was made specifically for man, a promise or prophecy and a gift or possession intended or intended to be for him alone: something or someone that only man could fully have or possess (woman/wife). If any other man or angel possesses or has that gift/helper (woman meant for this man alone), that other man or angel would be transgressing or sinning (committing fornication, adultery, or covetousness) because that gift, grace, or possession belongs to one man. So to speak, the only thing (woman) that man could take with him if he were to be driven out of the Garden without taking anything else; because this was a helper or gift suitable or meant only for him in all of creation.
*1* -B- Man thinking for man or for himself, firstly identified "that the man being naked was not good," and man tried being innovative with leaves to meet their first need which they identified by their own self thoughts. Yet, God made the better clothing for them, which was also another gift suitable for them, which they could take away from the Garden when driven out.
*2* -A- In God's thinking for man, according to the Bible verse above, meeting the needs of man or providing help came not just as a solution, but as fulfillment. God was not just solving the problem or challenge for man, but He actually made a promise or bound Himself to the same thing challenging man, so that even if He was not to do it for man, He was bound to do it for Himself or His Word of Promise. Therefore, when it was eventually done, it became both a victory for man and a fulfillment of God's Word of Promise or Prophecy by making and presenting the woman to and for man.
*2* -B- In man's thinking for himself or when men think for themselves, meeting their own needs often results in temporary and unsatisfying solutions. Just like Adam and Eve who sewed fig leaves to cover themselves, their own inventions did not bring them true peace or satisfaction. They still felt naked and hid from God. Although their own thinking may have seemed wise or good in their own eyes, it actually led to future complications and problems.
*3* -A- In God's thinking for man, as mentioned in the Bible verse above, meeting the man's needs involved providing a helper who was "meet for," "suitable for," or "comparable to" the man. This means that what the man needed was all within himself, not something or someone outside to compared him to, but rather something that would complement him or centralize focus on treasures from within the man. The helper was meant to look up to the man as their "Lord" and desire to come or be like him, rather than the man desiring to be like something/someone else.
So all the animals and Woman, God subsequently made to be helper suitable or comparable to the man were basically lower to him by status quo. That meant the man was still in charge over God's idea of helper suitable, comparable and compactible to him.
*3* -B- In man's thinking for man according to the deception Introduced by the Serpent through the woman, meeting the needs of man or men was about comparing them with neighbors or to others who seem to be doing better or higher than them, wanting to be like others or do like others. The Serpent told the woman, you will be like the gods or like God, knowing good and evil when you eat the forbidden fruit. When the need is inspired by desire to be or do like others or comparing the helper you need to being like other patterns or kinds of people that are different to your calling/purpose, then knowledge of good and evil may inspire it.
Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.
And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and He brought them to the man to see what he would name each one. And whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.
Though these were done in the beginning, learning from them still applies today. By the grace of the Spirit of God, I promise you five things to learn from this Bible verse above. Viz:
*1* The Name of the man, Adam
*2* The Will of the Man
*3* The Kingdom of the Man
*4* God-Sent Flock to the Man
*5* The Fellowship of God with Man
Well, restructuring my list according to how they appeared in the Bible verse above, I will now briefly substantiate them orderly.
GOD-SENT FLOCK TO THE MAN
I had difficulty in describing them as "God-Sent Messengers" to man, but I find it convenient to describe them as "God-Sent Flock" to man. This is because, though they are sent by God or brought by God to the man, they are not sent to give a message to the man but to receive messages or receive help from the man. They are not sent as helpers to help the man but sent as helpless in need of the man's help. And though they are not messengers like prophets, angels, apostles, or emissaries from God to the man, yet because God is the One who sent or brought them, rejecting them also carries the same weight as rejecting the messengers God sent. In fact, the goats in "Matthew 25" were those who did not receive nor minister to the least of the Lord's brethren, whom He sent or brought for the goats to minister or help them.
A man of God was held accountable by God for some wretched and poor persons whom God sent/brought to him to be discipled by that man of God or at least to be shepherded by him. But the man of God turned them away and did not help them, and as a result, the evil one recruited them, and God lost them because of the negligence or ignorance of the pastor rejecting/ignoring them.
But David did great in this regard. While he was hiding in the cave of Adullam from the king's death messengers after him. "And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves to him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men" [1 Samuel 22:2]
That was in David's occasion, but in Adam's occasion (being the first man before David to have done greatly well in this regard), those whom God brought to Adam were disconnected, nameless, lacking identity, or in need of the man's help, even when the man himself was in dire need of a helper. All the living creatures of the ground that God made and brought to Adam were to be disciples for him or to be helped by him, even though Adam needed help himself. It's like a man who is desperately in need of secondary needs, but people in need of primary needs, who are in a worse condition than him, came to him, not to solve his need but for him to meet their need.
So Adam was trusting God for a suitable helper or for a wife, which God promised, or David was trusting God for the kingdom, which his anointing promised. But instead of the promised wife (helper) or kingship coming immediately, God sent a flock, or the needy ones came to Adam and to David in a more pressing emergency or needs.
THE NAME OF THE MAN, ADAM
Many of us only see the top Bible verse above for Adam naming the animals, but hardly see the same Bible verse above as the first time the name or word "Adam" appeared in the Bible (though not all Bible translations picked up "Adam" for others continued to use "the man" instead of "Adam").
My point is, before God would have the man give names to others, God first gave the man a name, "Adam." You don't give what you don't have. Should the man who has no name be giving names to others in God's calling? So behold the man's naming with "Adam."
[Genesis 5:2 AMPC] — He created them male and female and blessed them and named them [both] Adam [Man] at the time they were created.
THE WILL OF THE MAN
In the top Bible verse above, God brought them to Adam (the man) to see what the man would call or name them. Why was God yet to see what the man would name them, when God has already seen or known everything past, present and future?
It was a clear occasion of God waiting or awaiting the "Will of Man" and not the usual occasion of man awaiting the Will of God to be done. God the Creator and Maker of those living creatures, brought them in subjection to the Will of Man, and God was curious "to see" not just "to hear" what the Will of the Man was in naming or assigning identities, references and numbers to His Creatures on earth. So both "Will of God" and "Will of the Man" were done in the establishment of the ground sourced creatures.
THE KINGDOM OF THE MAN
In the top Bible verse above, whatever the man called or named any living creature was its name permanently. God did not alter or disagree with "Whatever" the man's will called any of the earthly creatures God Himself made. This meant the man was King over the earthly creatures even in the Kingdom or Presence of God.
Usually, no man decrees a thing, and it comes to pass without God commanding it. And though there was no history of God upturning or overthrowing whatever the man (Adam) said or did before then, the man (who was never a son of man) did something that had eternal or everlasting durance.
When Joshua commanded the sun to stand still, and God listened and made the sun stood still, it was recorded as uncommonly for God to listen to the voice of a man like in that day as it is written:
[Joshua 10:14] — "And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD listened to the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel."
Has God not been listening to the prayers of a man? What is the difference between God listening to a man's prayer and listening to a man's voice in that day or manner? The difference lies in the Will of God. When men pray according to the Will of God, God hears them because the man's will aligns with God's will. However, in the case of Joshua commanding the sun to stand still, it was not God's Will that endorsed the man's will, and yet God listened to the man without the protocol of God's Will or Ordinances being consulted.
Similarly, that was how it was when Adam named the living creatures according to his own will, and he had the final say or judgment over their names, while God, their Creator, simply observed or upheld the decisions made by Adam.
The FELLOWSHIP OF GOD WITH MAN
Essence of all these was for God to fulfill the fellowship of God with men, Immanuel. It's a Fellowship that seeks to have God doing all things through or with men, when God could have done all things without men. He can do all things without us, but for the fellowship or Immanuel He will do all things with us. In "Genesis 1" God did all things without man, but in "Genesis 2" God did all things with the man.
Is there any thing God did in "Genesis 2" that the man was not involved in contributing to or in what God did or made thereafter? After doing them, God either brought the man to them or brought them to the man — this was the basic summary of 'Genesis 2' in one sentence of 16 words. Fellowship is Sharing.
So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.
The man gave names to all the livestock, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.
This Bible verse above contains the concise story of Adam's early Success and Failure together, before any woman emerged into being. His Task towards all those living creatures succeeded, but his quest among all those living creatures failed. His Task towards the Living Creatures was "Designating/Nominating them;" while his Quest among them was "Searching/Seeking suitable helper for him or seeking suitable wife for himself among them."
Adam was like a man of God who successfully ministered to the congratulation God brought to him, but among the congregation he ministered, there was no suitable wife or helper for him; and more importantly Adam did not fraternize nor convert any of that congregation (living creatures) into suiting his personal needs. Adam did not say, "When the suitable (desirable) is not available, the available may become suitable (desirable);" Adam had no beastial instinct, and nothing like heaven help those who help themselves: Adam did not find suitable helper for him, even though Adam found helpers among the living creatures. To Adam, a helper must be suitable, perfect or comparable to him, and not just anything that has vagina/femininity.
*1* Not all who have suitable names to you are suitable helpers for you: They may bear your names on them, but they are not suitable helper for you. This summarized the verse above to Adam
*2* Designating: — This was the first everlasting Task Adam completed, for he both began and finished giving names to all domestic, avian and wide animals, God made and brought to him to name. Designating Living creatures that came to him was the task Adam both began and completed in the Garden of Eden, without any suitable helper with him or for him.
*3* Nominating: — At that level in paradise (Garden of Eden), Designating Living Creatures meant Nominating them: and Adam designated or nominated all of them. It's like the Lord Jesus Christ giving you a new/choice name in heaven, and its implication for you being named or nominated in the Book of Life.
*4* This reality dismisses the man-made philosophy that states "Behind every successful man, there's a woman:" No woman or helper for or with him when Adam accomplished nominating everlasting names for living creatures God brought into the first heaven (Garden of Eden) to Adam.
*5* The 'Helper' was suitable for Adam Carnally (Humanly), but spiritually the 'Helper' was not expedient for Adam to accomplish his spiritual or heavenly tasks in the Garden. There was nothing Adam had to do in that Spiritual Garden that required this 'helper' suitable for Adam to do: For Adam was already fully equipped with all Spiritual Helpers or Grace he needed for Spiritual Tasks.
*6* In the Bible verse above, Adam was like a man of God who faithfully ministered to all the needs of all the people God brought to him in the presence of God, but yet he himself was lacking or barren and in need of certain provision of God that was not humanly possible.
*7* Therefore, though Adam was experiencing trial or barrenness (lacking of wife/helper), Adam was the first man of God who accomplished the Ministry and Message though he found not what he was looking for or searching for. He fulfilled all that God assigned for him to do, and what remained was God meeting his.
[Luke 17:7-10 GNT]— “Suppose one of you has a servant who is plowing or looking after the sheep. When he comes in from the field, do you tell him to hurry along and eat his meal? Of course not! Instead, you say to him, ‘Get my supper ready, then put on your apron and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may have your meal.’ The servant does not deserve thanks for obeying orders, does he? It is the same with you; when you have done all you have been told to do, say, ‘We are ordinary servants; we have only done our duty.’
And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
[ICB]
So the Lord God caused the man to sleep very deeply. While the man was asleep, God took one of the ribs from the man’s body. Then God closed the man’s skin at the place where he took the rib.
*1* Have you ever experienced situation wherein you slept without any wound, but when you awoke you discovered a slight cut on your skin as if someone used razor or blade to tear your skin while you slept? Some people described such painful slight cut on one's skin as activities of witches or demonic blood sucking agents that operate on people's body while they sleep. However, I am not here to discuss about them, but show you from the Bible verse above that God was the first Person who began to create cut on a sleeping man and extracted or harvested a part or portion of the inwards of the sleeping man's body. So it's not only witches or demonic beings that create cuts on sleeping man's body, but even God did it and Doctors still do so in anesthesia during operations or procedures, and it could also be caused by insects. However, it's expected that God's cut on the sleeping man's body should not be left open but closedup and healed.
*2* Metaphorical representation of the Bible verse above using medical terminology, such as Anesthesia, Caesarean Section, Procedure and Incubation:
** "The Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam": — This can be understood as the induction of anesthesia, where Adam was placed in a deep state of unconsciousness.
** "He slept": This refers to Adam being in a state of anesthesia, unaware of his surroundings and temporarily devoid of sensation.
** "He took one of his ribs": — This like a surgical procedure, similar to a Caesarean section CS, where a surgical incision is made to extract a specific anatomical structure.
** "Closed up the flesh in its place": — After removing a rib (considering a literal interpretation), the surgical site is closed up by suturing or using other methods to close the incision and restore the integrity of the surrounding tissues.
** Incubation,: — typically refers to the process of providing a controlled environment, such as an incubator, to support the growth and development of premature infants or the cultivation of microorganisms in a laboratory setting. Well, here it was the rib bone that was to be developed and transformed into Woman.
But I am not here to talk Medical things, but far more greater things that are spiritual things and eternal realities. Therefore, unlike the Anesthesia that meant the induced man is unaware, I will show how Adam was both in deep sleep and yet he's aware.
*3* The Sleep in the Bible verse above was the very first sleep all mankind slept, seeing all mankind were inside Adam when he slept, but all mankind were not inside Adam when he awoke from that sleep: some part of mankind continued sleeping inside the woman being made, even after those in Adam awoke. He was just the man when he slept, but when he awoke there was a man and there was another of him, a woman (taken out of man).
*4* It was a "Deep Sleep of Adam" bodily, but not a "Slumber of Adam" spiritually. That deep sleep God caused only knocked off the body sensation of Adam, but not his consciousness. This implies, though Adam was in a deep sleep, Adam was still aware.
*5* To understand point *4* better, I will separate three kinds of literal or bodily sleepness that God causes/induces men to fall in.
¹—A— Repose — This is Sleep of Rest, Sleep of Refreshing or Healing Sleep. For examples,
[Ecclesiastes 5:12 NKJV] — The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, Whether he eats little or much; But the abundance of the rich will not permit him to sleep.
[Psalms 127:2 ICB] — It is no use for you to get up early and stay up late, working for a living. The Lord gives sleep to those He loves.
²—B— Slumber (Stupor) — Whenever Sleep is associated with Slumber in the Bible, that sleep is not wise. As you can see, the first sleep I mentioned as repose is good or sweet, but when there's slumber then that sleep associated with slumber becomes a problem. The reason is because "Slumber" means "Closed or Blindfolded Eyes or Mind." A man sleeping is expected to close eyes to sleep, but when closing his eyes goes deeper into closing his mind or spiritual eyes (visions), that becomes "Slumber." E.g.
[Psalms 132:4] — I will not give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids,
[Proverbs 6:4] — Give no sleep to your eyes, Nor slumber to your eyelids.
[Proverbs 6:10-11] — Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall your poverty come as one that travels, and your want as an armed man.
[Isaiah 56:10-11] — "His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yes, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are pastors that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his headquarter."
[Nahum 3:18] — Your pastors slumber, O king of Assyria: your nobles shall dwell in the dust: your people are scattered on the mountains, and no man gathers them.
[Romans 11:8] — According as it is written, 'God has given them the spirit of slumber (stupor), eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;' to this day.
³—C— Trance — This is the Sleep that's opposite of Slumber, because it surprisingly opens eyes of the sleeping man better rather than shutting his eyes, or it makes the sleeping man see or have vision better instead of making him blinder. Infact, Trance is more Visions or Consciousness of a sleeping man/woman. When a sleeping man or woman is even more aware and more sensitive while he/she is in a deep sleep like Adam in the top Bible verse above. Well not all Trance involves Sleeping, but some Trance do.
Is that not a paradox, when a man that's deeply sleeping is even more awake and more aware than another man who is not sleeping in the same environment? How can that be? It's like a man who is blind physically but sees through the Spirit of God; a reality wherein a blind man is more sensitive, sharper and more aware than a man who walks by physical sightings. Examples:
Adam was in deep sleep bodily, but he was very aware and awake as he beheld bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh taken out of him. We cannot say Adam was in "Repose" because his body was not resting in the sleep, for his body was suffering and losing the parts that became woman for him. And we cannot say Adam was in "Slumber" because he knew where the Woman was taken from and how one of his bones where taken, though was in deep sleep.
Abraham too experienced "Trance of Deep Sleep:" for Abraham was in a deep sleep bodily, but God began talking to the sleeping man and he was both hearing God, Hearing the Land Covenant and seeing the Fire that passed through the meat he kept beside him while he was in deep sleep [Genesis 15:12-21].
This woman too experienced "Trance of Sleep:" for though she was in sleep, her heart was awake, aware and sensitive to her Lover's voice knocking on her door in an out of sleep reality:
[Song of Songs 5:2 ICB] — I sleep, but my heart is awake. I hear my lover knocking. “Open to me, my sister, my darling, my dove, my perfect one. My head is wet with dew. And my hair is wet with the dampness of the night.”
Daniel too experienced "Trance of Deep Sleep:" for Daniel was in a deep sleep bodily, but Angel kept talking to the sleeping man and he was hearing all the angel was saying though he was asleep.
[Daniel 8:18] — "Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright."
Saints who have died and are buried in their graves are basically in "Trance of Deep Sleep;" for though they are dead they are sleeping and actively conscious in Trance or Entrance of realities/ consciousness: So are they until resurrection of their dead bodies.
*6* Essentially, the man failed to find a suitable helper for him among all the living creatures that came from outside him, but here was the time for the man to stop searching outside him but to search inside him, not with the eyes of flesh but by God in the spiritual.
*7* The Helper Suitable for the Man was already a helper inside the Man; the Companion for the Man was already a Component of the Man. She was not a new comer or stranger in the business of being with the man, helping the man or being companion of him. She had been doing those things for him and with him as "One of His Ribs (One of His Helpers-Ribs) protecting his heart. She was only taken out of the man and transformed to continue in greater scales and other dimensions what she's been doing inside him since the day the man came into being a living soul. Therefore, she as the suitable helper for the man has actually been one of the sisters (rib bones) of the man before she became his wife.
I am not saying you marry your sister (close kin), but saying you should be able to call whom you marry "My Sister" as Abraham could call Sarah or as Isaac could call Rebekah, or as Adam could call Eve, "Bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh."
Did you see "Sisterhood" in her, or you just saw a girlfriend or girl you want to marry in her?
[Proverbs 7:4-5] — "Say to wisdom, You are my sister; and call understanding your kinswoman: That they may keep you from the strange woman, from the stranger which flatters with her words."
*8* There are four titles of truth you should be able to call a woman before you as a man should marry her as "Suitable Wife or Helper." These titles are 'My Sister' (She's Supportive and Protective as a Rib Bone), 'My Love' (my Darling or my Soulmate), 'My Dove' (She's harmless and gentle), and 'My Undefiled' (still a Virgin). Of all these four, is she ¼, ¾ or she completes the "4"?
[Song of Solomon 5:2] — I sleep, but my heart is awake; It is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying, “Open for me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled; For my head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night."
Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
[TLV]
Adonai Elohim built the rib, which He had taken from the man, into a woman. Then He brought her to the man.
*Line 1* One thing never left the rib that was taken from the man, that was, "The Mark of the Man on it" or "Tagging the Man as the Source whence the rib was taken;" — "Credit to its source or to the man from where the rib or bone was taken," continued to be part of the description and mark of that bone wherever God took it to. And God built the rib He took from the man into a woman, and the word "Woman" means "Taken out of Man."
*Line 2* What are you doing with another man's wife or with a woman that is already joined to another man in sexual act or in marriage? Don't you see wherever she goes she's carries a label that she belongs to the first man alive she was joined to sexually and separated from? What you see in Bible verse above was how sticky that tag, "Taken from the Man" remained on the rib, the bone or the individual, no matter how much God changed and transformed it into something or someone else. The Conversion of God upon her did not eradicate from her the mark of the man she was taken from. The only way to make peace was for God to do "Restitution" or "Restore her back to the man" from whom He took her or it: This is the Force and Foundation of Marriage, that is, the First Restitution which was also an Institution.
*Line 3* She's another man's wife, another man's property; and you took her, and inside her you were found as one of her "Body Counts" when she's another man's wife, even if her husband gave her to you? You are a "Dead man" because of that woman you took that's another man's wife. As it is written,
[Genesis 20:3 NKJV] — But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, “Indeed you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.”
Though the man and his wife herself willingly gave her to you as a man, that's not withstanding — She's another man's wife, you must not touch her nor marry her. And though the man and his wife are divorced or separated by any court or law, that's not withstanding — She's another man's wife, you must not touch her nor marry her.
[Luke 16:18] — “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced from her husband commits adultery.
*Line 4* She's another man's wife, another man's property; Taking her for yourself is the foremost kind of covetousness or lust:
[Deuteronomy 5:22 GNT] — “‘Do not desire another man's wife; do not desire his house, his land, his slaves, his cattle, his donkeys, or anything else that he owns.’
Taking her for yourself is worse than being a hungry thief:
[Proverbs 6:30-33 BSB] — "Men do not despise the thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger. Yet if caught, he must pay sevenfold; he must give up all the wealth of his house. But he who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself. Wounds and dishonor will befall him, and his reproach will never be wiped away."
*Line 5* The same Lord God who took the rib from the Man and built it into a Woman, and return or restored her back to the Man He took her from while she never stopped being "Taken from the Man" nor stopped belonging to the man she was initially joined together with: That same Lord advises and warns all men, saying:
[Matthew 5:27-32 GNT] — “You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ But now I tell you: anyone who looks at a woman and wants to possess her is guilty of committing adultery with her in his heart. So if your right eye causes you to sin, take it out and throw it away! It is much better for you to lose a part of your body than to have your whole body thrown into hell. If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away! It is much better for you to lose one of your limbs than to have your whole body go off to hell. “It was also said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a written notice of divorce.’ But now I tell you: if a man divorces his wife for any cause other than her unfaithfulness, then he is guilty of making her commit adultery if she marries again; and the man who marries her commits adultery also."
And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.”
[AMPC]
Then Adam said, This [creature] is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of a man.
The three things Adam called her was directly related to three things Adam called himself or his body parts, in this Bible verse above. The lesson is this,
"Whatever the man was saying to or saying about his wife, he was relating to himself; whatever the man was doing to her he was directly or indirectly doing to his own self or his own body."
In the Bible verse above, Adam called her by three, 3, titles; but out of the three titles, only one title was a general title for her.
**1** When Adam called her "Bone," he also mentioned "of my bones:" This means whatever he will do to her will be counted as what he will do to his own bones. This title, "Bone of my Bones" is not a general title any other man or spirit being can call her, except Adam (her husband) alone can call her this title.
**2** When Adam called her "Flesh," he also mentioned "of my flesh:" This means whatever he will do to her will be counted as what he will do to his own flesh. This title, "Flesh of my Flesh" is not a general title any other man or spirit being can call her, except Adam (her husband) alone can call her this title.
Implication of these two titles above means a man who loves his wife loves his own body (flesh and bones), and the man who hates or abuses his wife hates and abuses his own body. As it is written,
[Ephesians 5:28-32] — "So men ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord loves the church: For we are members of His Body, of His Flesh, and of His Bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church."
**3** When Adam called her "Woman," he also mentioned "taken out of Man:" This means whatever he will do to her will be counted as what he will do to himself as a Man. This was both the first time Adam called himself "Man" because he called his wife "Woman." This title, "Woman" is a general title every one can call her, even if one is not her husband such one can call her "Woman" because she was taken out of "Man" in general sense without being particular or specific about which Man it was.
Infact, Adam said in the Bible verse above, "She shall (should generally) be called, "Woman," which is a title that suggests she's offspring of a Man.
The "Woman" is like the words "Son of man" or "Daughter of man:" They all refer to offspring of man. Actually, "Woman" means "Taken out of man;" the offspring of man that was taken out of man or caught out of man. This is different from "Come out of man (son or daughter)" because she did not just come out like a daughter, but was taken out or snatched out of a man by external Force (God).
However, not the same man for every woman. Each woman has a different man she was taken out of, relative to another woman. So one woman is different from another woman, answerable to a different man. If you put two or more of them together, they become "Women" or "Taken out of Men (not man)."
A woman's reference to the man she's taken out from is not her father, for she's his daughter; but just the fact that she exist as a female of man means there's a single man that has something already taken out of him that will be completed when he marries her and the two become one body in completion again. Therefore, it's when a woman is married and bears the name of her husband as her surname that the reference would be fully defined as her husband is the man she's taken out from because he's the one to whom she's returned in restitution or restoration of God called "Marriage." Marriage is basically restitution and institution.
So the first two titles Adam called her were "Possessive," showing she belongs to him alone; while the third or general title he said "She shall be called" by others beside himself was a "Collective" title or term. The latter was more like a formal way of addressing her, but the former means she's is Adam's Wife.
You see how "Naming Ceremony" became "Wedding:" Adam just conduct his own wedding in the presence of God even before declaring that others shall call her "Woman."
** Was there a third party or priest to declare/decree them "Man and Wife?" No; for Adam himself declared her "Bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh" which is greater than another man declare them two "Man and wife."
** Was there any wedding dresses or wedding costumes? No; for the man and his wife were naked and were without reproach.
** Were there Witnesses to the marriage? No other human being were there but God and the heavens; and behold thousands of generations after, people witnessed Adam and Eve were truly married and by them was the foundation + institution of Marriage.
That was the Wedding — The First two Possessive Titles He declared and claimed over her, which could not be argued or disputed in any realm or generation, having full ownership and evidence of his entitlement, possession or ownership of her. It's like a man declaring publicly and laying claim over a property that is undisputably his by his own resources and gift of God. A man's wife is basically the man's property, which is why making sure she's fully paid for and rightfully acquired are all that matter most to any wedding in God's Sight.
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
This is why a man leaves his father and his mother and clings to his wife; and they become one flesh.
The "Bond (Connection)" between a man and his wife should be greater than the bond (connection) between the man and his father/mother. This is because "Taken out of man" is stronger than "Came out of man."
*1* Taken out of man — Woman or Wife
*2* Came out of man/woman — Son of man or daughter.
Her being taken out of the man was naturally a breach, including taking something that would never have wanted to leave the man's body and creating hole/way where there should be no way or hole, just for the purpose of taking a man's rib in ways that were not according to the natural reproductive system. That was unlike the way children are formed and birthed, with reproductive organs and hormones pleased to get them out, first from the man into the woman, and then nine months later the woman is pleased to have them separated from her as deliverance/freedom for her.
The bond that naturally never wanted to be separated is stronger than the issues that people enjoyed, felt relieved, or celebrated because of the separation. A man has some kind of feelings when his sperms or semen have accumulated, and he gets relief when he discharges them; a woman has menstrual pains because she needs her egg fertilized so that the egg can begin the process of coming out of her. If fertilized, then months later she feels pains (labor) because she has a child in her, but as soon as the child comes out, she has joy and relief for the fruit has come out of her womb. But she will never wish for that child that came out to return back into her womb: No man re-enters his mother's womb.
So a man leaving his father and mother is a great relief or achievement; but a man joining or clinging to his wife, especially after leaving his father and mother, is also a great relief or achievement. Father and Mother were the man's first home but he had to leave, beginning with leaving his father into his mother; but finally his last home is in clinging to his wife until death.
Don't let your mom or dad be the reason you are having problems with your husband or wife. At their womb, God was in the business of putting "asunder" or "separation" between you and your mother and father, as it is written:
[Galatians 1:15] - "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,"
[Genesis 25:23] — "And the LORD said to her, "Two nations are in your womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from your bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger."
I believe you saw "Separated" or "Putting asunder" a child from its mother's womb. She may boast that she carried the child for nine months, and so she has authority or right in the child than his/her wife/husband. But follow God, who put asunder between the man and his father and mother, saying,
[Mark 10:6-12 NKJV] — But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” In the house His disciples also asked Him again about the same matter. So He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
To separate from your father and mother as a man is called "Advancement;" but to separate from your wife as a man is called "Divorce" or "Adultery."
The bond connection between a man and his/her biological parents is described as "One Blood" with them; but the bond connection between a man and his/her wife is described as "One Flesh" or "One Body" with her. The Bond called "One Flesh" or "One Body" is stronger and greater than the Bond called "One Blood." Having "One Blood" with another person does not make us one body; but having one flesh makes us one body.
This is even more reason you should run away from fornication or sexual intercourse in immortality: Because it goes beyond making you one blood into making you one flesh or one body with her. Hence, Body-Count, not Blood count.
Better to do blood transfusion, having the blood of a whore/harlot inserted into your blood stream, for that will only make you to be one blood with the harlot; than for you to have sexual intercourse with a strange woman or harlot and become one flesh or one body with her.
[1 Corinthians 6:16-18 FBV] — Don't you realize that anyone who has sex with a prostitute becomes “one body” with her? Remember that Scripture says, “The two will become one body.” But whoever is joined to the Lord is one with Him in spirit! Stay away from sexual immorality! All other sins that people commit are outside of the body, but sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.
I hope I find another occasion to show you how your body is your greatest temple or church building to God on earth; and there's no how whatever you do in any temple, church, cathedral, altar, can weigh greater than what you have done within your body. You cannot be keeping a church or temple holy when you have not kept your body holy. You are inside that body even when you are in any temple. Honor and sanctify your own body as if you are doing so for the house of God, even His holy Temple.
[1 Corinthians 6:19-20 FBV] — Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit that is within you, that you received from God? You don't belong to yourself—a price was paid for you! So glorify God in your body!
And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Now both of them were naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed.
Let's first share the testimony that the Lord God had finally fulfilled His Promise for the man, for God had made for the man a helper suitable for him. The Lord God be glorified for providing Woman for Man: Thank You.
It's no longer "The man being alone" anymore, but has become "The man and his wife." So the issue of loneliness passed but then another issue, that of nakedness, became the next in line.
In the Bible verse above, both the man and his wife were naked, yet were neither ashamed nor embarrassed. And I want to bring out something mankind had that angels do not have, and also something angels had that mankind did not have in the Bible verse above.
*1* Marriage: The man had wife; but angels do not have and must not have.
*2* Shame of Nakedness or Knowledge of good and evil: The man and his wife did not have either shame of nakedness or knowledge of good and evil, and must not have them; but angels have them.
This means "Shame of Nakedness or Knowledge of good and evil" was the forbidden thing to mankind, while "Marriage or having wives" was the forbidden thing to angels. I assume you already know the story of what happened when mankind breached the law into acquiring the knowledge of good and evil, and then acquired shame of nakedness and thereby mankind became like angels or gods in knowing good and evil. I also assume you already know the story of what happened when angels breached the law into acquiring wives of the daughters of men and bearing children or offspring through them. Or how sufferings today came by those.
In the top Bible verse above, the man and his wife were yet in the "Class of Animals or Lower Carnal Creatures" and not yet in the "Class of Angels or Higher Spiritual Beings." Animals are by default made to have sexual intercourse or mate, procreate and be naked without shame of nakedness. If any animal seems to be hiding its nakedness, its not hiding it for shame but hiding it to prevent access: the animal is not closing up for others not to see it, but for others not to touch or access it especially when the animal is not in the mood but the other ones are in desire for it. So animals do not have shame of nakedness even though many of them do close-up or retract (withdraw) their nakedness when not in use.
But the man and woman were were not using their nakedness for something productive or procreative, and yet they were not closing up or retracting (withdrawing) them: and yet they were not ashamed nor embarrassed.
At that stage, there were three steps for man to fully become as the angels. It should have been two steps if the man was not married and had no wife; for being married makes them 3 steps:
*1* Acquire Immortality or Living Forever.
*2* Acquire Knowledge of good and evil.
*3* Acquire Death to dissolve the marriage and resurrection of the dead to live forever without marriage.
