№ 1. Observe everything that takes place in the sky, how the lights do not change their orbits, and the luminaries which are in heaven, how they all rise and set in order each in its season, and do not transgress against their appointed order.
№ 2. Consider the earth, and give understanding to the things which take place on it from start to finish, how steadfast they are, how none of the things on the earth change, but all the works of God appear to you.
№ 3. Behold the summer and the winter, how the whole earth is filled with water, and clouds and dew and rain lie on it.
[1 Enoch 2:1] — Observe everything that takes place in the sky, how the lights do not change their orbits, and the luminaries which are in heaven, how they all rise and set in order each in its season, and do not transgress against their appointed order.
The Lights and Luminaries were the first created things mankind was called to go learn wisdom from, before mankind was directed to go learn wisdom from the ants.
Lights too have a transgression they must not commit since the time God made them in the fourth day: and their ordinances they must not transgress have to do with where or when they must not shine, not pass, not cross or not follow; and where or when they must shine, rise, abide, index, follow or give their resources to.
Before God gave mankind a commandment to keep in the heavenly garden on the 6th day, God already gave Commandment and ordinance to Lights and Luminaries in heavenly firmament on 4th day. Coming coming later and yet mankind had quickly transgressed and broken God's commandment to him, and had been cast down from the heavenly garden. Whereas the Lights and Luminaries have remained faithful and kept God's Ordinance and Order, without transgression. Therefore, the Lights and Luminaries of heaven had retained their abode or their own Garden of heaven, and have not yet fallen or driven away from there as mankind was.
We may compare mankind to the Lights because they were made rulers of days, times, seasons, years, nights, energies, signs, just as mankind was made rulers over animals, earth, things on earth. Those were the basic Two Categories of Physical Creatures God made Kings or Rulers by defaults: The Lights and The Mankind.
The Sun rules by day, and the Moon and Stars rule by night: their kingdom and dominion were part of their makeups from birth (Creation) just as mankind was originally made to have dominion and kingdom even before mankind was brought forth. But when we remember that mankind lost their domain and dominion, we should remember that the Luminaries have retained both their domain and dominion because they have not transgressed unlike mankind had.
According to prophecies, some stars would transgress and therefore fall or be cast down. The same Serpent that deceived mankind would later appear as Dragon with 7 heads and would succeed in pulling down a third of the stars among the Luminaries of heaven, but not all of them (Revelation 12).
Enoch advised us to observe the Lights and Luminaries of heaven:
—+— He was not telling us to observe them as Astrologers, Stargazers, Zodiac signs Readers, or worshipers of those celestial bodies etc.
—+— Rather he was telling us to observe them in their orderliness, rankings, parade without breaking ranks or without transgressing their everlasting orders. And to behold them keeping their everlasting ordinance of God in their courses, seasons and rituals/routines.
Those Luminaries and Lights have remained the most disciplined military formation in the world of men from the beginning, and they have faithfully continued in keeping their ordinance of God.
[1 Enoch 2:2] — Consider the earth, and give understanding to the things which take place on it from start to finish, how steadfast they are, how none of the things on the earth change, but all the works of God appear to you.
If comparing mankind's failure to the faithfulness Lights and Luminaries of heaven is taking it too far, then here is the earth doing even better in ordinances than mankind. Learn wisdom from the earth, and understanding to the things or activities taking place on earth among the Biological, Chemical, Technological and Ecological, organisms and mechanisms. Their ordinances do not change even when change is constant. As it is written,
[Psalms 119:89-91] — "For ever, O LORD, your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness is to all generations: you have established the earth, and it stays. They continue this day according to your ordinances: for all are your servants."
[Genesis 8:22] — "While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."
It seems that mankind had been thrilled more by the disruptions of natural laws/principles or by the interruptions in earthly orders, than mankind is thrilled by the consistencies of those laws and orders, in their reflecting the Works of God. What mankind calls Miracles, Magics, Wonders, Strange, etc, are mostly interruptions, disruptions, suspensions or breaches, made to the flow of execution of the earthly laws, natural ordinances and principles. We are so used to the natural order of things happening on earth that we even ignore them, overlook them or hardly see the Handiworks of God in those natural and constant events. That's because the fallen mankind are thrilled more by display of power than by display of faithfulness: so they are hardly faithful themselves, but would rather follow powers and presumptions.
Enoch advised us to consider the earth:
—+— He was not telling us to be earthly minded or set our affections on things of the earth;
—+— Rather he was telling us to understand those things of the earth in terms of their "Steadfastness, Consistencies and Surety:" and glorify God who made them so steady, and set the foundation that it should not be remove or unstable as men.
You can vow or vouch for the Steadfastness of the earthly laws more than you can vouch for human beings' faithfulness or reliability. And to think that God made man have dominion over the earth that was more fruitful and faithful than mankind became worth reviewing: for the grave was then given dominion over the man in the man's death, and the dust began to return to the dust (ground).
[Job 38:33 NKJV] — Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you set their dominion over the earth?
Your Will be done on earth as It is in Heaven.
[1 Enoch 2:3] — Behold the summer and the winter, how the whole earth is filled with water, and clouds and dew and rain lie on it.
Even the Weather and the Seasons are enough to teach any man wisdom and knowledge of the Ways of God. He made these things and they keep to their times, paths, seasons and boundaries. They don't happen by accident, but deliberately and predictably.
— They are not unpredictable, rather they are predictable.
— They are not random events, rather they are foreseeable events.
— They do not happen by accidents, rather they happen by seasons and harvest.
— The fact that a weather man can predict rainfall, snowfall, wind speed, temperature, flooding etc, days before they happen meant that they are not random events as evolutionists believe; rather it means they are programmed events that justly happen.
— The fact that a prophet or seer can predict events, days before they happen meant that they are not random events as evolutionists believe; rather it means they are programmed events that justly happen.
[Psalms 19:1-2] — "The heavens declare the Glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His Hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge."
[Romans 1:19-20] — "For what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse."
