However, when the cunning Satan noticed that they were headed towards the garden, he gathered his army and appeared on a cloud with the intention to deceive them.
*2* But when Adam and Eve saw him thus in a vision, they thought they were angels of God come to comfort them about their having left the garden, or to bring them back again into it.
Adam and Eve, mistaking them for angels sent by God, were hopeful that they had come to offer comfort or guide them back to the garden.
*3* And Adam spread his hands unto God, beseeching Him to make him understand what they were.
Adam prayed to God, seeking understanding of their true identity.
*4* Then Satan, the hater of all good, said unto Adam, "O Adam, I am an angel of the great God; and, behold the hosts that surround me.
Satan, the adversary of all that is righteous, addressed Adam, saying, "Oh Adam, I am a celestial being of the mighty God. Look around and see the multitude of heavenly beings accompanying me."
*5* "God has sent me and them to take thee and bring thee to the border of the garden northwards; to the shore of the clear sea, and bathe thee and Eve in it, and raise you to your former gladness, that ye return again to the garden."
"Adam, know that I and these heavenly beings have been sent by God to guide you both to the northern border of the garden. There, by the shores of a pristine sea, you and Eve shall be cleansed and restored to your former joy. Only then can you both return to the sanctuary of the garden once again."
*6* These words sank into the heart of Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve were deeply moved by these words.
*7* Yet God withheld His Word from Adam, and did not make him understand at once, but waited to see his strength; whether he would be overcome as Eve was when in the garden, or whether he would prevail.
God, however, withheld his revelation, testing Adam's resolve to see if he would succumb to temptation as Eve had in the garden or remain steadfast.
*8* Then Satan called to Adam and Eve, and said, "Behold, we go to the sea of water," and they began to go.
Afterwards, Satan summoned Adam and Eve, informing them, "Look, we shall venture towards the vast expanse of the water," prompting them to commence their journey.
*9* And Adam and Eve followed them at some little distance.
Adam and Eve obediently trailed behind at a safe distance.
*10* But when they came to the mountain to the north of the garden, a very high mountain, without any steps to the top of it, the Devil drew near to Adam and Eve, and made them go up to the top in reality, and not in a vision; wishing, as he did, to throw them down and kill them, and to wipe off their name from the earth; so that this earth should remain to him and his hosts alone.
As the group reached a towering mountain devoid of any reasonable path to its summit, Satan closed in on Adam and Eve. Here, the Devil shed his illusory guise and physically compelled them to ascend the treacherous peak. His true intention was to hurl them off the precipice, eradicating their existence from the earth and claiming it solely for himself and his maleficent cohorts.
HOW ADAM AND EVE FELL TO THE DECEPTION OF ISLAM AND MUSLIMISM
[1 Adam+Eve 28:1] — BUT when the wily Satan saw them, that they were going to the garden, he gathered together his host, and came in appearance upon a cloud, intent on deceiving them.
However, when the cunning Satan noticed that they were headed towards the garden, he gathered his army and appeared on a cloud with the intention to deceive them.
Wherever Satan finds opportunity to deceive mankind, there is always what God had already said or told them but they either doubted or do not fully agree with what God said. In this case, God already told Adam there's no way for them to enter the Garden again until the covenant is fulfilled in the coming of the Lord God Himself as Second Adam. This opportunity Satan found is found in desperation of Adam that tried to replace the patience and faith of Adam on this matter: Such desperation without true faith and patience is open for Satan's deception or manipulation.
In moment of a man's desperation, there arises a chance for his deception or manipulation. The statement suggests that when someone is in a state of desperation or extreme need, they may resort to deception as a potential solution or way out. In moments of desperation, individuals might feel a heightened sense of urgency and might prioritize their own interests or survival above honesty or ethical considerations.
Desperation impairs judgment: Intense desperation can cloud one's rational thinking and ethical reasoning. It can lead individuals to abandon their moral values temporarily and embrace deceptive tactics as a means to an end.
However, it is important to note that not everyone will resort to deception in moments of desperation. Many people maintain their integrity and take alternative routes, seeking help, finding creative solutions, or relying on support networks. The likelihood of engaging in deception may also depend on an individual's personal values, moral compass, and level of desperation.
The devil and his host appeared in a cloud, which is a strategy for selling a dream or hope to desperate seekers. Next:
[1 Adam+Eve 28:2] — But when Adam and Eve saw him thus in a vision, they thought they were angels of God come to comfort them about their having left the garden, or to bring them back again into it.
Adam and Eve, mistaking them for angels sent by God, were hopeful that they had come to offer comfort or guide them back to the garden.
Their thinking too aligned with the deception of the devil. We blame the devil for deceiving us, but we also blame our thoughts for believing lies and false hopes/dreams, clouding our right judgment. They or we judge people or things by their appearance; and it's by judging people/things by their appearance that we took devils/demons as angels of God, just as Adam and Eve did here; believing they have come to take us into our garden or promised land faster or quicker than the time of patience required for it.
[1 Adam+Eve 28:3] — And Adam spread his hands unto God, beseeching Him to make him understand what they were.
Adam prayed to God, seeking understanding of their true identity.
This acts of inquiring from God in prayers has been preserving grace and wisdom of Adam. Learning to ask God, more than you ask Google, will sustain you better in the path of life, knowledge and discernment. Always ask God for directions, not just asking God for things; and ask God for knowledge or understanding.
[1 Adam+Eve 28:4] — Then Satan, the hater of all good, said unto Adam, "O Adam, I am an angel of the great God; and, behold the hosts that surround me.
Satan, the adversary of all that is righteous, addressed Adam, saying, "Oh Adam, I am a celestial being of the mighty God. Look around and see the multitude of heavenly beings accompanying me."
As soon as Adam prayed and asked God for understanding, Satan began talking to him and feeding him with false information, claiming he was from God. It was made to appear as if the devils were God's answer and solutions to Adam's prayers and quest. This is usually a critical moments to many, for they prayed to God and the devil who heard them praying suddenly takes advantage of that to appear or come to them with what they've been praying for as if they are sent by God or from God.Beware of false prophets that come to you in sheep clothing but inwardly are ravening wolves; and also beware of false answers or false solutions to your prayers and quests that come to you as sent from God but inwardly are not the will of God.Do not just judge by appearance but by their fruits and God's will.
[1 Adam+Eve 28:5] — "God has sent me and them to take thee and bring thee to the border of the garden northwards; to the shore of the clear sea, and bathe thee and Eve in it, and raise you to your former gladness, that ye return again to the garden."
"Adam, know that I and these heavenly beings have been sent by God to guide you both to the northern border of the garden. There, by the shores of a pristine sea, you and Eve shall be cleansed and restored to your former joy. Only then can you both return to the sanctuary of the garden once again."
Did you see Satan himself sounding or forming a "new religion" in the name of God and bringing people into paradise (the garden) like Satan formed Islam or Muslimism? This is exactly what the Muslims were made to believe, even the same things Satan was telling Adam and Eve in this verses above. It's religion or way to get into the Garden (Paradise) in the name of God, having a form of Ablution (Washing or Bathing) to cleanse the people and then bring them into that glorious joy and place of paradise via North.
This was Satan's Religion (Satan's Method) of bringing people into the Garden or Paradise of God, whom he claimed sent him as prophet or angel(s) that appeared to Adam and Eve: (Later the devil would appear as angel Gabriel to Muhammad of Islam, claiming he was from God, and introduce Islamic religion for Muslims).
I tell you the major difference between this Satan's Method (Islamic religion) of getting into paradise (the Garden) and God's true Method (Christianity):
*1* Satan's Religion or Method (E.g. Islam), promised to bring the followers (Adam and Eve) into the Garden (Paradise) through the northern order of washing their flesh or Ablution. It just does not agree with God's Method of God coming down and becoming Man or Adam to suffer for Adam and Mankind through death and resurrection before bringing Adam and people into it.
*2* God's Method (Christianity) is very clear, that Jesus Christ (God made Man) is the only Way, the Truth and the Life; besides Him there's no other way, and even when He prayed for Him not to drink the cup of suffering if there was another way, there was none but for Him to drink that cup of suffering and death. It's not by ablution or bathing in river/sea, but by the Blood (Death) of God as Man called the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
[1 Adam+Eve 28:6] — These words sank into the heart of Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve were deeply moved by these words.
The Islamic message of Satan actually entered Adam and Eve deeply, and they were deceived by Satan therewith.
[1 Adam+Eve 28:7] — Yet God withheld His Word from Adam, and did not make him understand at once, but waited to see his strength; whether he would be overcome as Eve was when in the garden, or whether he would prevail.
God, however, withheld his revelation, testing Adam's resolve to see if he would succumb to temptation as Eve had in the garden or remain steadfast.
God remained silent and watched Adam to see whether he too could be deceived by Satan as the woman (Eve) had already been deceived by Satan before in the Garden. Remember that Adam had prayed for God's guidance, but yet God withheld His Word, Revelation and Understanding, from Adam to know his spiritual strength and maturity. There was a time God brought animals to Adam to know what he will call them, and God was impressed with Adam. Now God wanted to know the spiritual maturity and level of Adam in the knowledge of God and His Word of Covenant.
[1 Adam+Eve 28:8] — Then Satan called to Adam and Eve, and said, "Behold, we go to the sea of water," and they began to go.
Afterwards, Satan summoned Adam and Eve, informing them, "Look, we shall venture towards the vast expanse of the water," prompting them to commence their journey.
Truly, Adam too was deceived, and not just Eve: I know Paul wrote in Timothy that Adam was not deceived but Eve been deceived was in the transgression. That was when they were in the Garden about to lose the garden. As a keeper of the Garden, Adam was not deceived; but as a seeker of the lost Garden, Adam too was deceived by his desperation and belief in Islamic religion of Satan. Adam and Eve were once deceived by Islam, being followers as led.
[1 Adam+Eve 28:9] — And Adam and Eve followed them at some little distance.
Adam and Eve obediently trailed behind at a safe distance.
At this particular stage, Adam and Eve were Muslims, obediently and religiously following but they were doing so from a safe distance, not as fanatics nor zealots. They had their doubts, but they were following.
[1 Adam+Eve 28:10] — But when they came to the mountain to the north of the garden, a very high mountain, without any steps to the top of it, the Devil drew near to Adam and Eve, and made them go up to the top in reality, and not in a vision; wishing, as he did, to throw them down and kill them, and to wipe off their name from the earth; so that this earth should remain to him and his hosts alone.
As long as there seemed to be a way to keep following along the path of Islam, they kept following, until they met a dead end and there was no way or step through that religion. Then the so-called angels of Allah revealed their true identity as devils; and they introduce the use of force to make the followers Adam and Eve to commit suicide as the way for them to get into the paradise, perhaps virgins would be waiting for them in paradise.
When the postulators of the religion themselves seem to want the entire earth for themselves, but they are promising paradise and many virgins as wives to those they are deceiving into killing themselves and killing others in the name of fighting for Allah.
