1 ADAM+EVE 8 - {The First Book of Adam and Eve 8}
Theme of Chapter 8: —
THE "BRIGHT NATURE" OF MAN IS TAKEN AWAY.
№ *¹· THEN Adam wept and said, "O God, when we dwelt in the garden, and our hearts were lifted up, we saw the angels that sang praises in heaven, but now we do not see as we were used to do; nay, when we entered the cave, all creation became hidden from us."
№ *²· Then God the Lord said unto Adam, "When thou wast under subjection to Me, thou hadst a bright nature within thee, and for that reason couldst thou see things afar off. But after thy transgression thy bright nature was withdrawn from thee; and it was not left to thee to see things afar off, but only near at hand; after the ability of the flesh; for it is brutish."
№ *³· When Adam and Eve had heard these words from God, they went their way; praising and worshipping Him with a sorrowful heart.
№ *⁴· And God ceased to commune with them.
[1 ADAM+EVE 8:1] —THEN Adam wept and said, "O God, when we dwelt in the garden, and our hearts were lifted up, we saw the angels that sang praises in heaven, but now we do not see as we were used to do; nay, when we entered the cave, all creation became hidden from us."
This word of Adam came out from his weeping door and was speaking to "O God." According to his word, Adam reported the great lost of Visions that befell both Adam and Eve resulting from their lost of place in the Garden and deportation into the cave.
Mankind had the continual visions of seeing the invisible things that were in heaven far above even from the Garden on earth, and the living creatures of God were not hidden from the sights of mankind when they were in their bright nature in the Garden. But being brought down into the cave also meant veil began or became covering their eyes and perceptions.
Ironically, when they ate the forbidden fruit in transgression, their eyes were opened and they realized they were naked. Thus what was referred to as eye opening or illumination (civilization) in their physical eyes was their blindness or loss of visions (spiritual sight) in their spiritual eyes. Therefore, they became blind in the spiritual in order to see more in the physical realities of this passing and changing world.
[1 ADAM+EVE 8:2] —Then God the Lord said unto Adam, "When thou wast under subjection to Me, thou hadst a bright nature within thee, and for that reason couldst thou see things afar off. But after thy transgression thy bright nature was withdrawn from thee; and it was not left to thee to see things afar off, but only near at hand; after the ability of the flesh; for it is brutish."
According to God's Word and Answer to Adam's agitation for the lost visions in mankind:
At any point, the nature in a man determines the degree of visions he has, for the prevailing nature of mankind impacts their abilities to see afar off, to perceive and to understand.
···*··· When mankind was under subjection to God, God brought all things of the earth under subjection to mankind as they were under subjection to God. And they had a Bright Nature as children of light literally. The bright nature in them gave them great grace and ability to see things in millions of light-years apart without needing telescope, microscope or magnifying lens (google). The bright nature or light in mankind gave them light in their eyes, stronger than darkness and distance veils.
···*··· After mankind transgressed, their bright nature was withdrawn from them, and they could no longer see things afar off nor see hidden things under covering. Instead their ability to see was only from their brutish flesh and carnal body nature, which was a drastic reduction and lost of their greater abilities to see. Even the eyes of an eagle see better than the carnal eyes of mankind from afar, but mankind invented technologies such as Telescopes, Microscopes, Lenses, Magnifying glasses, Televisions, satellites etc, to assist their ability to see through carnal eyes of brutish flesh.
But why should they be focusing on the nature of these apparatuses for seeing afar off, instead of focusing on the nature of mankind to improve? Mankind don't need to depend on telescope, microscope, extra lens, magnifying glass, satellite, etc forever to see things afar off, especially because no one man made apparatus could see the invisible and the spiritual in heaven. It is the light in the body (nature) of mankind that determines the light and abilities in their eyes. As it is written:
[Luke 11:34-36] — "The light of the body is the eye: therefore when your eye is single, your whole body also is full of light; but when your eye is evil, your body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in you be not darkness. If your whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle does give you light."
[1 ADAM+EVE 8:3] —When Adam and Eve had heard these words from God, they went their way; praising and worshipping Him with a sorrowful heart.
These words from God to the hearing of Adam and Eve, did not immediately remove the sorrow in their heart, but even their sorrowful heart to be praising and worshiping God. They went their way praising and worshiping God with a sorrowful heart. Now, whether you have a joyful heart now or a sorrowful heart, keep praising and worshiping God with your heart. As long as the praising and worshiping God is with your heart, whether the heart you are with is sorrowful or joyful, you are doing well with your heart. God appreciates praising God and worshiping God when they are with sorrowful heart without murmuring or complaining. For God turns sorrows into Joy, and the deeper the sorrow the deeper the Joy when God converts the sorrow.
[John 16:20-22] — "Truly, truly, I say to you, That you shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and you shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. A woman when she is in travail has sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembers no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And you now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man takes from you."
[1 ADAM+EVE 8:4] —And God ceased to commune with them.
Though God had not finish talking with them, God stopped talking with them. What They had discussed so far was enough for the while they needed to ponder and adjust to what they had learnt from God so far. There was a moment of "Selah" as used in the book of Psalms. "Selah" meant "Pause" as in suspension. God Selah communing with Adam and Eve, who went their way praising and worshiping God with a sorrowful heart.
